This was the perfect vacation spot with our 3 year old!! Everything was in one place and we didn’t need to leave. We will be back every year! I do have some suggestions for management: -it would be great to receive a handout of all of the activities available at the property. We had no idea about the beach or bike rentals! And it would be helpful to know the hours of the waterpark and restaurant. -it would be awesome if the restaurant had an option for lunch sacks to allow guests to head down to the beach, have a picnic on the property, etc. -be thoughtful about rainy days. There is not much to do if it rains and the waterpark does not open until 11 am. Could you show movies in the event space? Or find a way to use that space to entertain littles?

Planned to stay there for water park, website showed no issues, showed up for reservation, checked in and was THEN told after we asked that the waterpark was closed. Bathtub was dirty, refrig was stocked with someone elses stuff and almost have me someone else's room but another employee caught the mistake.

Awesome Golf Resort
We came to watch my daughter play her colligate golf game at The Preserve. The course was beautiful. The hotel is very well kept and the staff is very nice.

Short Staffed
Our stay was great! My only complaint is that they are very short staffed in the restaurant. We had to wait a long time for service and our food. And they were often out of what we had ordered. But the staff they did have, were very pleasant.

The Honey Creek $25 per day “resort” fee is ridiculous, a sham. The “resort” is an indoor pool, which is open only a few hours per day. It is an excuse to charge a higher rate. The hotel is shabby, wallpaper peeling off the walls, dirty carpets and rooms. The mattresses are all old, like hollowed out peanut shells, and need replacement. I had 2 rooms booked for several days, and had to request room changes for both. I will not stay here again or recommend Honey Creek to anyone.

There was nothing open, like boats or canoes. We went to use these things. We should have been told this before we decided to spend 4 days there.

Honestly, we were impressed with what the resort has to offer in terms of activities & our kids enjoyed that part. We were extremely disappointed in the cleanliness - we found bags of food & kids sippy cups under our bed. There wére cigarette butts all over the property.

The food was wonderful, but none of the patio tables had been cleaned off when we arrived. That could have been due to it being the end of Labor Day weekend and being short of staff. Just a guess. We had excellent service from the staff that was there.

Great place to bring a family with plenty of activities available on the expansive grounds. Many amenities are included for the resort fee.

Staff was extremely rigid about assisting with an Orbitz reservation. Cost me hundreds of dollars. Lied to me about refunding $$ to Orbitz.

Loved the living room /dining table in the middle of the hall - we used that for our large family reunion hangout area. The stairways were filthy/ needed vacuuming!

When we checked in the lady made us feel like she was justvthere because it is her job. Didn't see very personable. You would think what you pay for the rooms the price of food would be reasonable. It was expensive. There was not a lot to do for a couple there. We stayed in our room most the time. We paid extra for a lake view and we got a good view of unkept trees and a Porta Potty. We will not be back.

I'm originally from Moravia but was in town so decided to stay there for the first time. It was quiet and staff were super nice. The one thing was the tub had rust all over it at the base. I did like having the main floor room where there was an exit door right to the outside so you didn't have to enter the lobby to come/go. Water pressure in the shower was amazing. Overall nice stay and I would stay there again if I was in town.

We got here and there were told water park isn’t open, so disappointing as that’s why we booked the night. The grounds were very pretty and so much nature. there’s EV charging which was awesome. our r was nice except we had asian beetles dead all over our window sills, soooo gross. we also found some in our room alive 😩. we won’t be back.

Hotel wasn’t the most clean or up dated and the restaurant was pretty expensive but the area is beautiful and there is a lot to do with the family.

Honey Creek is a very nice, family-friendly place to stay. The rooms are spacious and the main lodge is beautiful.

Loved our stay over Labor Day weekend. Property keep adults and kids entertained. Place felt and looked clean. Beds and shower were the best I've had in a hotel. The bikes were a great addition, after the kids went to bed enjoyed riding around the grounds in peace checking out the deer. Only a few small issues. Many bikes were broken, the Aqua Park had a few pieces missing, but it was the end of the season so I assumed they will be fixing during the off season and our beds were doubles not queens. We will definitely be back.

Overall I liked the feel of the property as it was clean and easy to get around. Staff personnel were not that helpful as our room had no soap or adequate towels for a 4 night stay and I had to call twice to get towels and soap. Also they charged a conservation fee per night in addition to the amenity fee that Expedia informed us of. I may have made another choice if I knew I would be charged more than quoted.

Pretty area, front desk guy at check in was very good. The room was marginal. the beds were not comfortable and the sheets worn. the outside door to our room was covered in cobwebs and bugs. Food was ok. I realize how difficult it is to hire right now and possible that they just don't have enough staff to keep everything clean. Although we did not use all the extras provided they do provide numerous extras that are good.

We took our 3 kids under the age of 13 there for a quick trip before school started. They have so many fun things to do that are included. We will be back again!

Honey Creek Resort was a great vacation over Memorial Weekend with our family. The amenities are great for all ages and my grandkids had a great time! I do feel the cabin and hotel room could have been a little cleaner and they need to be updated. Our tub had rust stains and the toilet in the cabin didn’t flush well.

Our stay was really nice. The staff was helpful. The only thing that was frustrating was the dining and we had to wait 10 minutes for the pool to open on Monday. They apologized about the pool not being unlocked. The dining was frustrating. They got our order wrong so we had to wait for it to be fixed. They did comp us for it. Then for breakfast again the next day, they messed our order up again. The staff was apologetic about messing up the order and they were very friendly. The food wasnt that great and if we stayed again, we would eat elsewhere.
