The property was well presented, inside and out, but more importantly, so cosy and warm thanks to the brilliant hydronic panel heating. Quite the restful retreat; the perfect mid-Winter escape we were seeking.

The bed and breakfast was quiet and enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent. Great place for a day or two getaway. We look forward to visiting again.

The property is in a fantastic location. Close walking distance to the beach and located in a quiet street. The room was beautifully appointed and very clean and a very good comfortable size. Breakfast was superb and the property owner Charles was so friendly and was so helpful in anything that we wanted. Would highly recommend this property next time you are thinking of staying down on the peninsular.

Plantation House is next-level amazing. It’s beautiful, lovely service (thank you Charles and Lorraine) and the breakfast was delicious too! But my favourite was the gorgeous spa bath, so good!! Highly recommend

Amazing Beach Getaway
One of the best bed and breakfasts we have stayed at. Great location just a stones throw from the beach, clean and spacious with an amazing breakfast served by Charles who was a fantastic host. Would highly recommend Plantation House and will definitely go back.

Fabulous Plantation House
We had a wonderful stay at Plantation House. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Charles is a friendly and welcoming host. Can’t wait to go back.

Very disappointed
Didn’t get to stay at the plantation house at all as there was a double booking done. When we arrived there to check in..the other people who booked the same room through what if.com got the room already. Plantation house was fully booked out. They offered us another accommodation at a motel nearby quite late which was no where near the accomodation we booked for. We are very disappointed.

Great night stay in Rye
We stayed in The Bahamas room, it was very nice, except for no opening windows to allow fresh air, only the French doors, but that would allow mosquitos as we found very quickly. Breakfast was delicious provided with great hospitality from Charles.

A mini escape
A lovely relaxing stay. Breakfasts are amazing. There is plenty of space outside and in the lounge to relax apart from staying in your room.

Charles is a magnificent host. Friendly, warm and inviting. He is also a really good cook and his breakfast is to die for. The rooms are beautifully appointed, neat, very tidy and clean. Quiet location and very comfortable bed. We loved our stay and is highly recommended by us

THe property was beautiful, and our Havana Suite was beautifully decorated and kept, making us feel like we had really travelled to Cuba. It is a three minute walk from the beach and 5 minutes to local shops. Charles was a lovely, friendly, helpful and attentive host, and the included breakfast was delicious! I would definitely stay here again and hae been recommending it to all of my friends.

I liked that the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and furnished in a manner that was in keeping with the style and the age of the house. I liked that the location was quiet and convenient, that the parking was adequate. I was a little disappointed that some of the appliances (TV, stereo) were of poor quality and did not seem to work very well.

Plantation house is stunning! The Havana Suite we stayed in was just lovely. Very spacious, huge bathroom, king bed - very comfortable. Charles the owner/host was very inviting, and his home cooked breakfast was awesome! We will be back! Highly recommend.

The accommodation was really nice, Close proximity to the beach, lovely gardens and well signposted directions. The upstairs room was palatial, with a large spa bath, sep. shower and vanity including personal bathroom products. The bedroom included a large lounge with king bed, kitchenette, dining table. TV and doors opening to an external deck with views toward the bay. The breakfast was extremely generous with lots of hot food options. The Hosts were very helpful and we would thoroughly recommend staying.
