Excellent for casino trips
Staff is always nice, it's attached to a 24 hour gas station convenience store where they will make you a delicious pizza any time and you don't have to outside to get it. If you call they'll let you know when it's done. There's also a shuttle to the casino so you can go have fun and not worry about driving

I liked the quiet environment.
My family and I enjoyed a good night sleep. The following day my son was ready to play in his Basketball tournament. They do need to work on their breakfast section.

Never again
Stopped in to make sure booking was made. Gas station attendant told me I did not have a room reserved. We had to find a different place to stay. Get home and to my surprise money was taken from my bank account for the room. Called Hotel and was told we needed to cancel 24 hours in advance. Hard to do when room was booked 10 hours before checkin time and we were told no room was reserved in our name when we tried to check in. Nice job Americas Best (worst) Hotel. Will never use Expedia or stay at Americas Best Again.

It was kinda weird checking in at the gas station part.. The front desk guy didn't have our reservation because they print out or go to the manager.. So he had to wait for her to call and confirm it.

Overpriced!
definitely overpriced!! For what we got, it was a disappointment. We chose to stay there only because we couldn't stay at Jackpot Junction. We have stayed at a lot nicer casino hotels for a FRACTION of the price. I didn't like the fact that we checked in at the gas station cashier.

We could not get the room key to work for our room. We had to call the hotel staff. She said the new locks were on backorder, that a person had lived in the room for two months and the lock was overused. No other rooms available because the hotel was booked. I woke up on Sunday morning and found two bugs under my pillow. I squished them both. My husband took a picture. We're pretty sure they were bed bugs. Had such a hangover from the night before and just wanted to get the hell out of this hotel I didn't say anything when we were checking out. Not a very pleasant stay, but the people who work at the hotel/gas station were really, really nice. Didn't want them to feel bad. Carol

A place to sleep if you are tired
Went to check in and they said they don't take Expedia reservations so it's be a couple hours to get ahold of the manager. We asked if they could do what they needed in the morning and they thought they could. Now my credit card has 5 charges in it for a night stay! There was a film in the toilet like someone had dumped a pan of greese in it. Pillows were plastic. Wouldn't stay there again for the price!

Adequate, quiet ... but staff was unable to get my (electronic) room key to work after the first day - - glitch in system? (same thing happened when I've stayed here before - inconvenient)

Nice hotel, helpful staff. A bit strange to check in at the connected gas station. Only complaint I had was I had reserved a king room, but I needed on main floor due to my use of a walker. They have no king rooms on the main floor, and no elevator. They did offer to set us up in a queen.

quick overnight stay
A rather quirky hotel but it fit our needs for a quick overnight stay. Room was clean and quiet. It is attached to a BP gas station. Hotel guests check in at the gas station cashier counter which was strange, but the person behind the counter was helpful. Had a hard time programming our electronic key but eventually got it to work. Howver the next morning the key wouldn't work when we were loading our bags in the car so we had to have them re-program it so we could get the rest of our bags out of the room. Door on bathroom wouldn't lock unless you pulled the whole door up. Shower was strange too-- took three separate steps to turn it on. Room was spacious and clean. No breakfast but guests get a free coffee or soft drink and a free bakery item in the morning. It was an okay place for a quick overnight stop.

It's a little weird checking in at the attached gas station, the room did not have a ironing board or iron. The font desk said the someone took it. All in all the room was clean and the price was right.

Nice quiet
This hotel is nice and quiet with friendly staff. Although not near busy bussiness establishment but for me it's perfect no rowdy groups.

Very convenient to Jackpot Junction event.
A little disappointed with morning food offered but it was not all that important to me.

The "back door" (with easy access to parking) did not lock automatically. we often had to slam it to make sure it was locked. Then, if it WAS locked, the card reader did not work.

Not worth it.
This hotel was my second choice after discovering that Jackpot Junction was booked. The reason I would not return was the attitude of an employee. Not only did this employee act like she was being inconvenienced by running both the front desk of a hotel and the counter for the gas station attached to it, but she flat out said "I don't want to be here anymore." when checking us in. I'm not sure what changes were made during the new renovations that were advertised on the sign, but I would have hate to have seen what the stay would have been like before them. If I return, I will be staying at the Jackpot Junction hotel or driving a little farther to Redwood Falls. For twenty more dollars a night, you can stay in the king suite at the casino, which was a night and day difference our second night in the area.

weekend tourney time
We will stay at this hotel again, It was clean and the staff was pleasant. It wasn't anything fancy but was clean, we enjoyed the fact that it had a microwave and refridge in the room, we were disapointed it did not have a clock in our room. We asked for a wake-up call but that was an hour early.

I will never stay here again!
I travel to this area frequently, and frequently stay at hotels, will never stay at this one again, lack of ammenities and sunday morning staff having problems with us getting more towels! 2 women and 2 teenager girls, 2 clean towels...in order to get more clean towels we had to turn in our dirty ones!!! I don't want your crappy towels, I just want enough towels for us to shower and dry off! Also would have been nice to have ash trays in our smoking room! The guy working when we checked in was great, woman working sunday morning, would be fired if she worked for me. When she brought us ashtrays she gave me attitude about being upset when she wouldn't give up more clean towels.

Best stay for the price in the Redwood Falls area.
Very accomodating. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast should include some lower calorie options than doughnuts and rolls. Otherwise I was very pleased and will stay there again when in that vicinity.

The room came with coffee maker but no coffee. The staff said that they were not matinance and did not know what to do about getting coffee. There were plenty of coffee filters though.

Great value for money
A clean and reasonably well equipped room (fridge & microwave but no coffee maker) for a great price - only $40 including tax. Few local facilities, however, and breakfast options were very limited (coffee and donut from the attached store). But, for the price, very good motel.
