Nestled in an enchanting garden
Our host was extremely welcoming and accommodating to our every need. This beautiful space was spotless and perfectly presented. Not one thing was overlooked even fresh roses added a fragrant touch. Tonnes of reading material with a wide variety. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was amazingly spacious. plenty of information regarding local activities and eating places, etc. The garden surrounding this space was incredible and beautifully maintained. Nothing out of place. Would definatley recommend the Guest Room to anyone contemplating staying in Mt Martha.

Beautiful suite in lovely setting
A wonderful B&B experience in lovely grounds, close to the beach. Owners couldn't be more helpful. Great buffet breakfast. Travelled around Australia on holiday from England - this was easily the best place we stayed. Thoroughly recommended - and would stay again if it wasn't so far to come! (But then again, we just might).

We totally enjoyed everything about The Guest Room. It was relaxing, welcoming and the pool table was a great way to spend time with the family. We can't stop talking about how beautiful our time was there.

This accommodation was outstanding. The owners were so welcoming and gave us all the information that we needed for a perfect stay. They went above my expectations with the extras that were provided for our comfort. It was such a peaceful place with a country feel in the middle of a suburb. The apartment was so clean and beautifully furnished.

Above and beyond...
We had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean, tidy and very comfortable. Home made biscuits , chocolates, large fruit bowl, fresh eggs from the chooks. "Thanks girls ". Beautiful books to peruse. A lot of fun was had around the pool table. Thank you Patrica for driving us to our restaurant Friday night and to the concert venue Saturday. Service beyond our expectations. We were wishing we could have stayed longer. We will definitely stay again and wouldn't hesitate recommending "The Guest room Mt Martha " to anyone. 10/10

Believe the previous reviews, this B&B is simply brilliant and we had a wonderful two night stay here! The suite has plenty of attractive thoughtful touches, plus practical supplies for a relaxing time: local attraction brochures and maps, fresh fruit, juice, milk, cereal, coffee & tea of all kinds, a chocolate jar, home-baked goodies, a full-sized pool table, books, CDs, movies, and plenty more. The bed was comfortable and the living room was well appointed. We loved the very homey touches; right down to the morning newspaper, the permiculture garden beds and chooks! It is centrally located on the Mornington Peninsula, so you could make day trips to wineries, shopping, or excellent restaurants with ease. While the B&B itself is situated in a residential neighbourhood, the beach is just nearby. We highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to explore the area, or just wanting a little R&R.

Delightful Guest House
This wonderful guest house is situated in a beautiful neighborhood on the Mornington Peninsula. A very relaxed atmosphere and the hosts couldn't be more inviting and friendly. Very convenient for reaching many of the best locations on the Peninsula. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again if/when we return to the area.

Classy, well-appointed retreat
I am thrilled that I found and selected this place for my stay. Everything was simply brilliant - thoroughly supplied, comfortable, homey, offering personal attention along with privacy. Plenty of coffee/tea/cocoa selections and very generous continental breakfast supplies on hand. Home-made goodies, and lollies galore, rounded out (literally) the supplies. Utterly immaculate, stylish, and well-placed, it really was a treat. I look forward to returning next time!

I enjoyed my stay, so close to all facilities..
I have not been away in years due to ill health, an Quest was the best medicine for me, the gardens where just oh so beautifull an accomodation just perfect..

Mount Martha's best!
From the moment we booked online, we knew this was going to be a great stay. Our host, Pauline emailed a 'welcome' note with loads of useful information before we arrived which was fabulous. The Guest Room is a delightful and very comfortable place to stay with a sensational garden and outlook to enjoy. We could have moved in permanently!

Perfect B&B for independent travellers
Just had the most wonderful stay at the Guest Room. The 'wow factor' started from the moment we arrived as we were greeted with delightful home baked biscuits. The room is well appointed and privately located at the rear of a beautiful landscaped back garden. Every possible need for a short stay has been anticipated and our delightful host, Pauline, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. I highly recommend this location to any couple or group who wish to enjoy an independent home stay with every need catered for.

Highly recommended
Biscuits, chocolates, phone chargers, BBQ utensils, you name it, if your looking for something to make your stay comfortable this place will have it. I normally don't take the time to write reviews but this place is worth it. Highly recommended.

Everything is perfect
This room is more than my expectation . The host , Pauline is so kind and her preparation is very thoughtful . The room is very lovely and my wife and child is very satisfied.

Overall very good experience complete with almost everything you can think of. However, personally we will propose the removal of billiards table and replace with eating table. Will have given full rating if we can cook.

Immaculate in every way. Beautifully presented and all needs catered for. Very comfortable and relaxing and would recommend to anyone not to look any further for accommodation in this area. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely Perfect!!
My husband and I stayed at The Guest Room in Mt Martha for 3 delightful nights. Although we arrived very late on the Thursday night, our wonderful host Pauline waited up to welcome us to The Guest Room and to show us the room and its facilities. As soon as we walked through the front gate, we were wowed by the spacious and immaculately kept gardens which were aglow with garden lights as we were led to our guest room. As we entered we noticed that the heating had been thoughtfully turned on and what awaited us was a spacious, beautifully decorated abode. We were most impressed by how clean, tidy and well-appointed The Guest Room is. We wanted for nothing. The bedroom was stylish and roomy and the bed was nice and comfortable. There was a lovely selection of breakfast goodies, a coffee machine and milk warmer/frother and a generous selection of quality toiletries available. And for that extra touch of luxury there was a very tempting domed plate of sugared cookies and a couple of enticing selections of chocolate provided. Not a good weekend to start a diet :-) The Guest Room is situated in a gorgeous location which was lovely and quiet. One of the reasons we chose to stay here is its proximity to family in Mornington. During our daily drives to Mornington (about 10 mins away) we caught glimpses of some magnificent views over the bay. We have stayed at a range of B&B's in various areas and I can honestly say that this is by far the best. Absolutely perfect.

An oasis retreat
My partner and I had a lovely 1 night stay at The Guest Room. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio watching the sun go down and in the morning for breakfast. The place seems recently refurbished, immaculate, and plenty of beautiful personal touches like a fresh rose on the bedside table, lots of interesting books to read, an array of tea, and even toiletries and phone charges if you happen to forget anything. Every detail has been thought of to make your stay enjoyable and stress free. Pauline and Patrick were very hospitable and have done a wonderful job of creating an inviting getaway. Highly recommend.
