None of the staff at this would have every been rude to a guest and if there was an issue with the room we would have moved you and your family to another room and I would have addressed this issue with my housekeeping staff members

Don’t stay here!
Was not provided the room I paid for. Would not move me to an acceptable room until after 1 1/2 hours of back and forth with hotels.com. Customer service was a zero from Marsha. I have been traveling for a living for over 30 years and stay in a wide variety of hotels all over the country and world. This was by far the worst problem I can remember ever having at any hotel ever. It’s not Candlewoods ( the company ) fault. Just this location.

The bathroom floor was nasty from the moment we checked in. There was an inch of hair in the tub drain. We had a light out in the kitchen, reported it. It was never fixed.

Not what I was expecting
I booked and paid for a one bedroom studio suite with queen size bed and pull out couch but the room did not have a pull out couch or separate sitting and sleeping area. When i asked the front desk she said only the king rooms have separate sleeping and sitting area with pull out couch.

Nice enough, needs some maintenance
Elevator was broken so we had to climb stairs, which is fine but the stairwell smells terrible. The rooms were nice but had minor maintenance issues, like the batbtub handle pulling away from the wall, toilet not filling.

Very nice and clean hotel
I was pleasantly surprised by the conditions of the hotel. It was very clean and the staff was excellent. Parking my large commercial truck wasn’t an issue with the ability to park on the side of the building and in the Discount Tire parking lot. The only issue I had were the number of unleashed dogs. It was never the big dogs but always the owners of the small dogs that just ran around and jumped on you. These same small dog owners refuse to clean up behind their animals even when they see them crap in the door way of the building. Basically the only problem we’re irresponsible dog owners. It needs to be more pressure put on them to clean behind their animals and keep them leashes so they are not jumping on people.

One of the best hotels for the price. The staff was by far the friendliest we have encountered in texas. This hotel would be easily a four star hotel. Marsha and Peggy Sue made the stay top notch. It felt like a small slice of home.
