This a beautiful house--super clean and filled with antiques. The sweetest couple own this Inn and they make your experience here so wonderful. Together they prepare a huge breakfast with many homemade items, and it was delicious. My room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable.

Absolutely amazing. Bill and Barb were wonderful hosts, they made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived until we left. Great homemade breakfast from the 7 grain bread to the yummy jam it was definitely home cooking. Comfortable atmosphere their home made us feel like we were at home visiting our own family. Very reasonable price for what we got in return. We will definitely be back. Thanks again for making us feel so welcome 😊

If you are looking for a quaint, quiet spot in the country this is it! The owners went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, right down to making sure I had gluten free toast for my breakfast. The breakfast was complete with fruit, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and toast. Super friendly hosts, who sat and had breakfast with us. Great conversation!

Sweet Fern Inn
Very clean and tidy home. The hosts stayed up late to greet us. Breakfast was a huge spread of fresh eggs, homemade jam, Tomatoes from the garden, bacon, fresh fruit, and homemade bread, and they accommodated my drink preference. The property was gorgeous. Hosts were kind and friendly. Would recommend highly!

It wasn't clear from the description that we would be staying in the home of the owners, and there wasn't a key provided for the room that we stayed in. Breakfast was served in the dining room and the owners sat down with us to eat, which was OK, but it wasn't offered as a choice. The meal was very good and the house, our room, the bathroom, and the property were all very nice, it was just a little bit awkward.

If you like to sleep in total silence this is the place for you. No complaints about the stay. You get a comfortable 'firm' mattress, a clean bathroom, and a homemade breakfast. The owners ate and conversed with us. It is a 'bed' and 'breakfast'.

When you are in a small town it is nice to find a place to stay with locals who are great host. Nice home with great people I was very happy to stay here oh and breakfast was awesome!

The Best Bread and Breakfast Ever!
The Bed n Breakfast had a feel of an old country style home appeal. It was very warm, cozy and welcoming. The owners were friendly and simply oozed with hospitality. The food was simply amazing! We even ate homemade fresh bread with breakfast.

Excellent stay
Great stay! Very friendly hosts! Place was quiet, and away from any major roads. Exactly what I wanted. Enjoyed great conversation along with a very good breakfast. I would absolutely stay here again, next time that I am in the area.

Comfortable bed, good food, delightful hosts
What a wonderful stay!! Home and gardens are beautiful. Hosts are delightful. Full breakfast was very good and included homemade breads and preserves. Tranquil location out in the country, but convenient to area highways, golf courses, and 10 min drive from downtown Clare. Will definitely be back!

I’d def stay here again!
Bill and Barb were very friendly and welcoming! (Note that she provides towels!) I had a very spacious room and bathroom - both of which were very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely breakfast together (homemade bread, perfectly cooked eggs, fruit-yum) during which they shared their knowledge of the area. Great place to stay if you’re going to see the reindeer at Rooftop Landing!

My favorite B&B. Stayed there 4 times and everytime is great. Peaceful surroundings and friendly host's. Breakfast is over the top great.

Peaceful, the place is extremely quiet. perfect if what you are looking for is tranquility to get away from the city and find yourself. Lyan and Pat are wonderful and very hospitable people. The house is well cleaned and they serve a delicious breakfast. They make you feel at home. ❤️

Where to start......Bill and Barb were the best hosts ever! So very friendly. We really enjoyed listening to their stories. Their property was amazing. We woke up to see over 15 deer in their backyard feeding. The breakfast was so very good. Barb made us Scones with Clotted Cream for a late night snack....so damn good. This is a very great place to stay if you are in the area or if you just need a get away. WE WILL BE BACK!

We liked the beautiful setting in the midst of nature. We liked the breakfast, though we were not really impressed - nothing special. The room was very clean and bright, but the air condition seemed not to work good - it war very warm and humid, even we had the fan running. And we did not care so much, that we had to leave our room to get to the bathroom, though it was still our private one, which was very nice.
