후기에 방이좁다는데 캐리어 바닥에 펼치면 꽉찹니다. 히터없어서 추워요. 수건은 걸레같아요. 방음 절대안됨. 옆에 말소리 다들림. 마을에서 1km들어가야해요. 주변에 nothing. 아침은 안먹어서 몰라요. 젤싼거에 만족해야해요.

Liked the breakfast provided with a cheese omelet. Very friendly proprietor. This motel is in a quiet area of town. This is no longer a Rodeway Inn--it is called the Royal Inn.

Not very happy. Expected one type of hotel got something else. Room is extremely crampped with to much funiture in the room for the size. It was very depressing.

Check in was exhausting as the clerk spoke limited english. The whole building was permeated with the odors of onion and curry. The door to the room appeared to be forced at one time. 3 drawer dresser was completely missing a drawer and of the 2 remaining drawers, only one drawer had a handle. The bath tub drain would not close for a bath. Overall i would not recommend this establishment to anyone

Disappointment
The hotel was not clean. The carpet was torn. The toilet ran continuously. The sofa was broken and dirty. The pillow cases had stains. The bed was comfortable. The continental was not next to nothing. Nothing fresh.

The water running out of my faucets in the sink and the morning after our first night was the color of coffee. Same with the water in the toilet. When I asked the clerk at the front desk for another room, I was told all the rooms had the same problem and it was a city problem, not a hotel problem. Then was told to - “just run the water and it will clear up.” 1/2 hour later the water wasn’t running clear and it left behind a nice layer is sediment. When I reported the clerk’s solution didn’t work and asked for another room, my request was again refused. Finally decided to go to another hotel for the rest of our stay, then had to argue about a refund for the next two nights because we didn’t cancel within 24 hours of staying there. We pointed out we planned to stay there, but we couldn’t shower or brush our teeth in the room provided and the establishment refused to give us another room. Again we were told the water was a city problem, not his. Btw, when I showed pictures to other patrons I passed in the hall, they told me their water looked nothing like what was coming out of my faucets. Also there were rooms listed on the website as available for that night, so we could have been given another room.

Do Not Stay Here
Do Not stay here!! Bed was uncomfortable, towels were dingy, shower curtain was stained, rooms smelled musty. Carpet was torn and dirty. Outlets were overloaded. Things in the room were broken (I.e. hairdryer), hot tub has been out of order for months (but no sign), free breakfast was almost non existent.

The cleaning crew was very friendly and okey and very helpful. The room though needed attention to such as broken faucet handle, no cable , no closet , no iron very old and needs updates on carpet .

The building smelled of mold, the cable wouldnt work and when we called the office they said there wasnt anything they could do. They wouldnt even come and help. The table top wasnt secured and everything we put on the table fell off and some of our stuff broke. The vending machines didnt work. When we waited until 930 am after the pool area opened to get in the hot tub it wasnt working. The general cleanliness of the room was very gross.

There was very little with which to like about this property. The bedding was OK, though a bit stiff (I know some people like different levels of comfort here), but the kicker was not this. It was multiple items, including a lack of claimed amenities, breakfast was extremely poor, and the room had many flaws. To go in more detail about each: -room... --power socket near sink was blown out (black "ash" around top socket) --bathroom overhead light lacked cover, exposing the inside cannister allowing for dust and other air particles to collect inside (...fire hazard?) --it appeared as though mold (black mold?) was collecting on the top rim of the shower lining and around the shower hanger and shower spout -amenities: --the same white vehicles were parked in the under-hang of the luggage drop off area, closing off any convenient unloading or loading (from what I can gather, these were the owner's vehicles) --ice machine was out of order (looked quite dilapitated) --pool/hot tube were closed for the season (if this was the case, this should have been updated on the booking website) --breakfast - website said "Free Continental Breakfast", but what this consisted of was sugary cereal & milk, and then sliced bread with peanut butter; one morning there was no milk available and then the other morning there was only a few slices of bread remaining Needless to say, this was a far cry from what I was certainly hoping for my small family. Some of these things I hope are quickly fixed.

This is probably the worst “hotel” I’ve ever stayed at. This is truly a roadside motel in desperate need of an update. The towels were stained. The room was extremely small. There was an extension cord attached to the bed. The carpet was disgusting. If I would’ve paid $59 for the room I wouldn’t mind but I paid much more than that. It is very close to Mt. Rushmore and that is the ONLY positive thing I have to say about it. The air conditioner was basically non existent. I would’ve opened the window but I was too scared. The room across from us has damage to the door where it had been prayed open. Do Not stay at this hotel!

Poor Condition, friendly staff
Staff was friendly but the hotel itself is in poor condition. It smelled awful, there was black hair left in our bathroom, vent didn't work, window was disgusting. Breakfast had minimal options but the smell of the place bothered us the most. You get what you pay for but for close to $150/night I expected better.

Lets start with the clerk didnt have enough money to give me the change back for they payment of my room..said he would bring it by later...never saw the guy again...only 3 bucks but still....floors werent clean...had hair all over them...had to track down towels to take shower...were only given 2 small ones...swimming pool looked nice but then i turned and saw the condition of the hot tub and decided against getting in the pool...with a little effort it could be a nice place to stay...but i wont be back...not for that price

We did not stay at this filthy place. It was a horrible little room disgustingly dirty. The staff were very rude and argumentative. Would not refund any amount of our deposit. DO NOT STAY At This Disgustingly dirty place!!!!!!!!!

This was the most disgusting hotel I've ever been in in my entire life. It was so bad it almost ruined it entire vacation. I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to stay here.

Nastiest hotel I’ve ever almost stayed in. Couldn’t find anyone working there and when they finally showed up he rushed us through our checkin so he could get back to eating. When we got to our room it looked like someone had walked on the bed with extremely dirty feet. When we called and asked for new bedding the guy came and said it was “burn marks from the washer”. We immediately checked back out. When we told the guy why we were checking out he responded with “we hear that a lot. Maybe if you complain to hotels.com you’ll get some money back”. Highly recommend you spend the extra money and stay somewhere else!!! This place was disgusting.

The room was dirty with mold in the bathroom, a broken toilet seat that didn't get repaired making the toilet unusable for my wife. The shower controls were broken. Mold in the shower. Also unusable. This room was by far the worst on I have been in!

Not Clean or Safe
We booked this place a month ahead of our trip. Pictures looked good & there was a pool. When we arrived the place looked really rundown & we hadn't even stepped in the door to check in. The room was not a typical rectangle but an odd shape. Both queen size beds could not see the TV. It smelled damp. There was long black hair everywhere in the bathroom, on the walls, side of tub & on the towels. The shower curtain rod was broken and rusty. The hottub was just full enough to cover the jets in the wall. Kids jumped in the pool and got right back out stating it felt gross and slimy, they wanted to go back to the room. Just did not feel safe in this hotel with my family. We did not stay the second night & got out of there as quickly as possible the next morning. Do NOT recommend!

Not enjoyable. The room smells weird. The customer service is horrible. We asked for the sink to get fixed, the next day, when it wasn't, we asked about it again and they got really upset with us. The breakfast is awful! Muffins and toast are left out without being covered. Forks and spoons are unwrapped and stuffed in a container where everybody is touching. If there is no other place to stay, just go to Rapid City. It's pretty close.

Beyond disappointing
First room key did not work, then the owner attempted to give us a room that someone was already in. 3rd room had a huge bed bug under the pillow. Luckily we checked before laying down for the night. Left immediately.

Great location! However, rooms are NOT cleaned daily (=limited housekeeping, rooms cleaned once per stay). If you stay longer trash will accumulate. Reception is most often not occupied even not during their operational hours and you have to call someone to attend.

With a rating of 5.6/10, this hotel was a bit of a disappointment. We arrived before the "closing" time but had to call to be let into the office to get checked in. We did not receive a friendly welcome and were not given any instructions on when the pool/hot tub closed when breakfast was, or even when the check-out time was. After getting our room keys, we entered into a poorly put-together room with damp carpets, a very low-lying bed, and a musty smell that would not go away even with the window open. As we were bringing our luggage into the room from the side entrance, the door was not locked and did not require any kind of hotel key swiping to be opened. To try and make the best of the situation we went to the pool and hot tub only to find the hot tub dirty and not working while the pool was filled with a bunch of kids. Breakfast was very minimal and required heating up with the guest room microwaves. The positives to the stay were the proximity to Mount Rushmore, the rainstorm that night, and being in the mountains. The pictures were very misleading for this property and are believed to be for the presidential suites, not the standard rooms.

Ok for one night.
We had the presidential suite, (Haha) two queens and a hide a bed that was very uncomfortable. My grandson didn't sleep well at all. It had a smell throughout the hotel, the pool was closed and I picked it so they could swim, that was disappointing. The breakfast was very minimal, not much at all in the way of food. The gentleman at the desk for very nice and the location is convenient.
