이동 중에 잠을 자는 숙소로 딱 좋습니다. 주변에 아무것도 없으니 먹을 것은 사가야하고 숙소는 무인이며 바로 옆 식당에서 체크인합니다 친절하고 깔끔하고 편안하게 쉬었습니다 상당히 외진 숲 아래지만 안전하다고 느꼈습니다 식당이 24시간 문을 열고 주차장도 그곳까지 뭘 나쁜짓을 하러오지 않을테니까요 잘 쉬었다 갑니다 어른2 아이1 밤 8시체크인 아침9시체크아웃 도로옆이라 차소리 조금나는 방도 있지만 잠 잘 잤어요

Wonderful hotel and amazing little dinner. Staff were awesome (Travis and Barb) and so was the food. Will definitely be back.

Quick check in and really clean room. Love that there is a 24 hour diner on site. The rate was reasonable for the nice accommodations.

The food at the diner was excellent, the people were very friendly and nice, The room was perfect for what we needed. We have been here before and it is perfect.

Excellent staff and room was very nice. Penny’s diner is literally a couple steps away and it’s open 24 hours and serves a very decent meal.

This was a nice clean looks like newly renovated. Everyone was nice check in at the restaurant Penny's Restaurant very convenient and super clean.open 24hrs.food is mid grade diner food.service was good. Will be back

You have to go across the parking lot to the restaurant to check in. There is no one on staff in the building. They had no rooms on the first floor and we had a ton of luggage and there are no elevators. Super inconvenient.

Hotel AND 24 hr cafe
Rather weary traveler after a long drive in the dark coming into an unknown place, the fact that it was tied to the Penny Cafe should have been made more clear. Got a breakfast omelet to go, it was DELICIOUS!

The hotel was great. No complaints. Clean. Small dinner on the same location of the hotel. Opened 24 hours. I would definitely stay there again. You check in and out of the hotel in the diner.

Have to check in at the restaurant next door, which would be ok if they paid any attention to you. It seemed like they were not interested at all in helping us and made us wait so long we started to just leave. Only then did she check us in (part way). Did everything but give us the key to our room. She made us wait again for a while as she went back to working in the kitchen. Finally got our room key. They room was good. Really quiet, which is a plus. However, whatever they use on their sheets made us have an allergic reaction. No idea what could have been on them. Will not be staying here again.

Very unique checkin! They have a 60’s diner with hood fare but is also the checkin counter! Unfortunately they were at full capacity today which delayed us getting into our room but they were all working hard to accommodate us, so all is good.

It’s a different place. There isn’t an elevator, which was good for me as I need to walk! Loved Penny’s Diner. Good food! And it’s pet friendly! I’d stay again.

This Wyndham property is clean, nicely managed and modern with exercise room (no pool) and a surprise; a quaint old fashioned looking diner open 24/7. Located just off Highway 5 you’re just a hop, skip and a jump to nearby Dunsmuir, Mr. Shasta and the town of Weed. But note, there are no other activities or things to do immediately around the lodge. It is a beautiful, wooded area. If you’re headed north on Highway 5 and need a stop over this is a perfect spot.

I am only giving four stars due to a trainee checking me in. She was pleasant but still learning so a little slow. Also, my shower only got piping hot water. Couldn't shower. But this is a great place to stay and I would stay again. I need an accessible room and their accessible room is great. Perfectly appointed. There price is good too. Also a 24 hour restaurant is just feet away. Very convenient.

Staff person was rude and needs to find a new job
The hotel room itself was fine and what I expected. The reason for my low rating (one star) is the reception I received at check-in. The instructions on the hotel door were to check in at the nearby diner. When I went in, the lady in the diner was very surly, acting very annoyed at my presence and making it clear she considered that she was doing me a big favor by being there for me. She was very curt, not understanding that the fundamental principle of hotelerie is in the welcome. Perhaps she was merely having a bad day and was taking it out on me, or perhaps she resents her job (in which case she should find a new one) but in any case she was poorly trained. She even snarled a sarcastic "You're welcome !" at me when I did not thank her at the end, to which I replied "Sorry, I am not the one being rude". There was nothing wrong with the hotel room itself, but I will not stay there again even though I travel through that region several times per year.

Love ❤️ Wyndum Hotels!
Very clean and the Diner was awesome with good food and prices. The hotel room was comfortable and very clean. Only bummer is they do not have an elevator. So those with walking issues will find it difficult. Overall we love staying at the Wyndum hotels because they are always clean comfortable rooms and friendly staff.

I had the best sleep on my 7 week road trip at this hotel. Seriously. My room was quiet, perfect sleeping temperature, lightweight bedding and the bed was super comfy! There’s a diner in the parking lot with many great food options. Wonderful! I’d happily stay here again if I ever come this way.

This is a great location in the shadow of Mt Shasta. Friendly staff with a clean hotel and an “American Diner” just to top it off.

Unable to use shower
Very disappointing. Room was okay, but got up in morning to shower to discover drain filthy and rusted and unfit to use. Photo below.

Check in is at the diner next door. The lady there was also cooking and serving. Despite all that she was cheerful and helpful. Even offered to help me when I was a little uneasy about being on the second floor. It was nice and quiet. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. I would probably stay ‘downtown’ next time but just for a different experience of Dunsmuir.
