This was a low cost option for overnight stay during our trip. As such, it was very basic, dated facility. It was clean enough, but not much else. Attached restaurant was closed that day. The best thing was Tesla charger we used free for our EV vehicle. Staff was very courteous.

Nice clean room that was slightly more spacious than many. Restaurant onsite was delicious and the voucher made it a bargain. The only downside was the wall heater was loud so it made it hard to sleep.

This is the best $130 we've spent on a room, anywhere, in I don't know how long! We stayed for 11.5 hrs (on our way up to Oregon) and it was worth it! We got #37 a king room, at 9pm, and it was great. Entire parking lot brightly b lit with light strands. Easy to get into room even though office wasn't open. Front desk girl (Sherri?) polite over phone and even called me back once when i called but didn't leave a message, just to check if i needed help with something. Cozy, but roomy. Everything clean! The floors, the bed, the bathroom, the fridge and microwave, even the curtains and shower curtain! Even the remote! Waaattt?! (See all pics.) It was rustic and cute. Heater was hot (it lightly snowed in the morning). Edison bulbs, shelves made of pipes and wood, nice soaps/shampoos, tiny coffee maker with 2 packs each of regular AND decaf (which i mix) and sugar/cream packets - all little touches that show someone CARES. I applaud the housekeepers. I cleaned rooms for the Marriott for almost 2 years back in the day, so I know what things should look like. The bed was made like we did the Marriott: bottom sheet, top sheet, then comforter, then another top sheet to protect comforter, then small blanket folded at end - all clean and perfect. Will ONLY stay here if we come back this way again. Thank you so much!

Nice place with very friendly staff. Only complaint is the heating/cooling unit was very loud and cycled on and off throughout the night making sleep difficult.

I liked the competitive mid-week rate compared to other Mount Shasta hotels and the "grab and go" breakfast bag given as the restaurant was closed for the mid-week. I'll be back!

Their staff were very helpful, but our room smelled so much and despite their cleaning and using refreshers, it didn’t go away. The building is so old and the cleaning was not that good either.

As advertised, we do close at 9:00pm. If guests do not contact us during the day of their check-in, we try our best to contact them via phone number and email provided. When booked through a third party such as expedia, we are only given the information that the guest provides to the third party, making it difficult to reach any guests if they give an invalid phone number or email. We always recommend booking direct to avoid any issues in the future. Thank you for your review. Safe travels!

The managing staff was nice enough to leave me a message on how to get to the room if I am coming after 9 pm. So be aware that there might be no one on front desk after 9 pm

Shasta Inn is a great choice for many reasons - its one of the few Inns in Shasta with a nice restaurant right there, but also if you are sightseeing the office has big selection of historical info and pamphlets about Shasta's natural wonders. Its a place of integrity and thoughtful -given that Shasta has many nights of below freezing weather the room is super well appointed with thick down quilt ,great heater, location is also easy to find, a fancy sink area is nice touch, good lighting, and also I have found its very quiet, clean and kind : )

Pretty standard inn, nothing fancy but working heat and very comfy. The absolute NICEST staff, both the woman who checked me in at 3pm and the man who gave me change to leave for the maid in the morning were unbelievably wonderful!! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, my dog and I had a great stay!
