Our stay in the Tin Shed was very enjoyable, with fine and sunny weather. The king bed is comfortable and all the amenities expected of a farm stay were provided. There is no wifi on the property, but 4g worked ok on phone. We sat outside undercover mostly, or in the garden, surrounded by the grape vines. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and their pet dog and goat completed the picture.

It’s beauty place! We love ambiance, decor and nature around there! Room really new and modern! They have eth you need to prepare your own meal! Owner are friendly and helpful! They also put a fresh loaf of bread from local bakery , bottle of milk , butter , eggs… for us! Thank you for wonderful stay!

We had such a great stay at Farmers Quarters for our two night family stay in Mudgee. The accommodation was very clean and the little extras in the house made it that much better. BJ and Gav were extremely helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend farmers quarters for anyone looking to stay in Mudgee.

Excellent country stay
The hosts, BJ and Gav, are a lovely couple. We stayed in the Drovers accomodation. It was tidy and updated without losing the country feel. We were surrounded by vineyards and the sunset out the back deck was amazing (see photo). They have also kindly offered to drive us around mudgee to experience wine, cheese and honey, which was the highlight of our stay. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Mudgee.

BJ and GAV are such amazing hosts - so friendly and with a wealth of knowledge about the area - where to go and what to eat! All their recommendations were spot on. They added a lot of extra touches like fresh eggs, bread, coffee machine lovely candle etc. The property is spotless cosy and peaceful and situated perfectly in the centre of all so many amazing wineries. I highly recommend. trip to Bunamagoo and make sure you book a tasting at LOWES and enjoy their amazing food platter. Allow at least an hour there. We hired bikes from Peter Van Gent winery which was a fab way to get around and it’s only a 20 min walk from Farmers Quarters. We can’t wait to return!!

What a Wonderful Escape
We had the most wonderful experience whilst staying at Farmers Quarters. The cabin was immaculately clean & we had everything we could need. The location is superb. The appliances etc in the kitchen are modern also. The host BJ & Gavin were extremely hospitable but gave us our privacy as well. We will definitely be going back

Farmers Quarters is centrally located, the facilities are spotlessly clean (not even a watermark on a drinking glass) and spacious. The owners are the most incredibly thoughtful and generous hosts we’ve ever encountered, ensuring that the fridge was stocked with the milk we prefer, fresh country eggs and bread. Gav and BJ, the hosts, also ensured we were comfortable, helped guide us with local recommendations and went out of their way to ensure we had a good time and enjoyed their hometown as much as they do. We will be back in a few months, and we weren’t planning on returning until our stay!

We stayed at the Drover and the cabin was so clean and spotless, the views were so beautiful with the vineyard and mountains in the background. BJ and Gav made us feel welcome and helped us organise a last minute wine tour and also lit an outdoor fire for us outside our room with an antipasto plate at sunset. We were so relaxed and happy.

Beautiful views over the vines, close to town and surrounded by wineries. Hosts were lovely and we felt very welcome. Everything in the house that we needed was there, all the basics and some lovely touches like local soap, jam and honey.

Fantastic place to stay, just out of Mudgee and set on a working vineyard. I have stayed here a few times now. New(ish!) owners are very friendly and welcoming and have done a great job in updating the cabins. Rooms are large and each room has its own ensuite and shower which is perfect. Bed was super comfortable, and the little extras well thought out and appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend this property and will happily stay again.

The accommodation was excellent. The setting was very peaceful and beautiful. I enjoyed the country atmosphere yet we were only a 5-10 minute drive from the center of Mudgee. The hosts , BJ and Gav, are very friendly and helpful.

We found the cottage we were in had everything we could have wanted. Milk in the fridge and a loaf of local bread for breakfast. B J and Gav were very welcoming and we would recommend the Farmer’s Quarters to all.

Nice space to stay with children
Nice we only stayed to go to the football bigger than a cabin in a caravan park and was nicer than having to get 2 rooms at a hotel we were one bath towel short for our stay and the fold up bed wasn't made up for one of our children overall pleasant stay

Very comfortable cottage set among the vines.
Eight kilometers from Mudgee, in the vines, private, quiet and comfortable. Everything you need for a relaxing stay. Arrived after office had closed, informed by phone how to locate cottage, and that it was unlocked and keys were on the table. Very trusting.

Comfort in the vines
Clean and comfortable, Farmers Daughters Cottages make for a great stay just 10km from the centre of Mudgee. The cottages are set on a working vineyard but are some distance from the winery and cellar door - great for quiet and privacy but not convenient if you require anything during your stay. Illness for a regular member of staff meant that picking-up and dropping-off the key presented some minor challenges - eventually resolved plus a couple of bottles of wine for our inconvenience. Good value in a beautiful part of nSW

Good & potential to be great, but falls short!
The unit we stayed in (Rosé) was overall in good condition, kitchen and bathrooms were up to date and nice, the view from the back deck was good also. It did overall feel unloved and somewhat unclean, at check in the lady was pleasant but as she was also assisting people with a wine tasting it was difficult to ask her a lot of info. On arrival there were large spider webs above the curtain at the front door and in the bedroom corners and a spider in our bed. There was no current compendium of information on how everything works, check in /out procedures or who to contact if we had a question / problem etc. There was no laundry detergent, this would normally be provided. When we tried to check out the cellar door was not open and there was no visible secure place to leave the key, the man mowing the lawn approached us and said he could take the key. Also there is a decking board on the rear deck that has lifted and is a tripping hazard that you may wish to rectify.

Cabin close to Mudgee
The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The weather was cool in the mornings and at night - there were electric blankets, air conditioning and a gas heater. There were all the comforts of home in the kitchen, We didn't cook there but made tea/coffee. We sat outside on the verandah sipping wine, overlooking the vineyards which were very close. All in all a pleasant stay.

Location, Location, Location.
Beautiful, quiet location looking over vines and hills 6km out of Mudgee. Accommodation wasn't flash but spacious, reasonably clean and well priced. Great if you want to self cater. Windows looked like they hadn't been cleaned for years with cobwebs everywhere.No sign of any staff after collecting key for 3 days at cellar door, some distance from accommodation.

Cosy 2 bedroom cottage right amongst the vines.
Peace and serenity. Only 5 minutes to town Really comfortable two bedrooms with individual ensuites. Can recommend the Red Heifer and the RSL for dinner.

Dirty fridge, dirty washing machine, carpets not clean, cottages are 200 metres from cellar door. Soon rooms in the cottage were locked which was creepy

We wanted to see a bit of the Mudgee/Scone area and liked the idea of staying in a vineyard. We were the only ones staying in the cottages and so it was very quiet. It was a terrific spot for driving out to the surrounding towns and areas. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Lovely cottages. Wonderful view
We had a lovely stay but definitely not long enough! The cabins were clean and well appointed. The view was fabulous!
