Ideal for the 2 of us for an overnight stay passing through the town. Enjoyed sitting on the riverbank when we arrived after 5pm and had easy access to our key via an sms sent to us. Next morning made breakfast then on our way. Spotlessly clean and nice park. Down side : trucks thundering over the bridge but to be expected when so close to it. Would be too crowded for 4 in the cabin we had. breakfast and be on our way. Would not stay longer than 1 night would be too cramped for a lnger period of tme.

Thanks for the review, Claire. We're glad to hear you enjoyed your stop over with us but are surprised that you wouldn't stay longer! Usually, the only downside review we get is that people wish they could've stayed longer. If you're after a more spacious cabin for a longer stay, we recommend checking out our Premium Cabins. We know they won't disappoint.

The Kitchen was well equipped but the cabin was old and rundown. I cut my head on an exposed sharp edge on the children's bunks, it should have had a protective cap on it but it was missing.

Thank you for the feedback, Phil. We hope you let our Park Team know about the incident at the time but, either way, we will chat with them about it based on this review. We do have newer cabins in the Park (Premium and Access) should you wish to have a more modern stay next holiday. We will be building more new cabins over the years too.

The cabin was very perfect for a family. It contained everything you needed. The parking was good. The play area looked awesome. Seeing the kangaroos in the morning was fantastic and the viewof the river from the front door was awesome.

The cabin was clean and presentable. The bathroom amenities very clean. The caravan park is in a lovely location. If you can afford a cabin or caravan site next to the river that would be optimal accommodation at the park.

Lovely cabins at Riverbend Caravan Park
The beautifully clean and modern cabin was a pleasure to relax in after a very long day of driving. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

a night for a basic cabin is excessive, room smelt of cigarette smoke, air cons are out dated and shake the cabin

Scenic views and comfortable cabins
Very comfortable cabin with beautiful linen. The caravan park location is breath-taking! Lots of wild life at your door step.

View is sensational. Faculties were disappointing
As a local I was a little bit disappointed. Could have more lawn area. Limited hot water in showers only one or two people at a time could use the faculties. No rain or hot water in cabins. Locks on doors not secure easy to lock keys in. Beautiful stretch of the river.

Two bedroom was useful for travelling with adult daughter. Location beside the river was very tranquil.

Decent old but clean cabin that accommodated my family's overnight stay. Triple Decker bunk are good for the primary school age children. Good river views and play area.

For the price linen should have been freely available for all beds not just queen bed. Good bbq's facilities, great camping kitchen facilities. Functional laundry. Great walking tracks, plenty of wildlife - kangaroos, koalas, ducks

Gorgeous caravan park next to the Murray River.
I was driving to Melbourne from Perth and was in Border Village when I booked a cabin. It wasn't until I reached Port Augusta when I read the confirmation booking email which said I needed to check in before 6pm but I had another 4 hrs drive to go so I called them and Lynn said that's fine I'll leave your key in a safe place, light on outside your cabin and turn the heater on. This measure of wonderful hospitality was exactly what I needed after a 14 hour drive! Thank you so much! Very grateful for such lovely hosts! Cheers!

Overnight stop for us only. Could cool your heels for a day or two if not a fisher.
