이 호텔에서 전혀 이용하지 않을 방을 expedia에 할당해서 팔고 있는 느낌을 받았음
호텔은 매우 수준급으로 위치도 좋았으나 방은 전혀 잘 수 없는 즉 팔리지 않을 방을 익스피디아에 의뢰해 팔고 있음

한국에서는 운젠에 있는 東園을 찾으라고 해주세요. 오바마는 운젠올라 가는 해변온천지대임.
여관을 찾아가는데 존 헸갈렸다. 운젠시 오바마초(小濱町)을 물었더니 오바마에서 내리라고 했다. 오바마에서 내려서 오바마초의 아주마엔(東園)을 물었더니 운젠에 있는 여관이라고 하여 부득이 택시를 탔다. 근 5천엔이 나오는 먼 거리였는데 버스로는 3-4백원이지만 인터벌이 길어서 기다리지 않고 택시를 탔다. 호텔의 서비스와 분위기는 아주 좋았으나 저녁식사 9천엔에 가깝고, 아침식사는 3천엔에 가까왔다. 도심에서는 조금 떨어져 있으니까 힐링에는 참 좋겠다. 걸어서 30분-1시간이면 운젠 지옥을 두루 둘러볼 수 있다.

Services were perfect. I got everything that I expected from Japanese Ryokan during the stay. Employees were passionate, and dedicated to their job. Highly recommended for your Onsen trip.

素泊まりの洋室プランでした。 COVID19の影響もあり、ホテル内は閑散としていました。多数、広めの和室も空いていましたが、景色も日当たりも悪い、当初の洋室のままで、アップグレード等の打診はなく、非常に残念でした。部屋の壁紙等も剥がれている箇所もあり、とても手入れが良いとは言えません。 お風呂は清潔感もあり、景色も非常に良いのですが、露天風呂の温度がぬる過ぎて、外で長く入ることが出来ず残念でした。

一泊朝食プラン＊一人旅＊
長崎への一人旅行の際、一泊朝食付きプランで滞在しました。 部屋は一人には広めの洋室で、キングサイズベッド、デスク、デスクと別に机と椅子のセット、そしてトイレと家庭用お風呂が付いていました。 お風呂は大浴場を利用したのですが、毎回時間を少しズラすだけで貸切状態になったので良かったです。 明るい時は眺めも最高です。 今回レンタカーで向かったのですが、到着時はお出迎え、出発時はお見送りがあり、慣れていない＆ゆっくりナビ等の設定をしたい私は、逆に焦ってしまいました。 今回滞在時間が短かったのが残念でした。雲仙温泉周辺にはまだまだ見所がありますので、次回は連泊したいですね。

Hotel way overcharged is for dinner. For 8800 yen, we were given food that’s worth about one third the price in a cold, function room that’s most uncondicive. Onsen was probably one of the worst we’ve been. No amenities provided except for basic shampoo, conditioner n body shampoo . Staff is ok . But we felt really cheated about dinner. Absolutely zero value for money. Only thing I can compliment is the bed and comforter. The rest of the room is lousy.

サービス、温泉、朝食に満足
スタッフのサービスがとても好印象でした。和食の朝食に加え、ちょっとしたサラダバーやフルーツカクテルがあったのもよかったです。雲仙の温泉にしては、硫黄泉のきつい臭いもなく、肌に優しいお湯でした。飛行機の時間の関係で夜に到着するため、夕食のないプラン・部屋を選びました。他の部屋より安いプランでしたので、ビジネスホテルのような部屋でした。温泉と寝るだけでしたのでそれでも満足しましたが、温泉でゆっくりしたい人は広い部屋のプランをおすすめします。

Terrible Experience
I had a terrible experience with this hotel. They charged me USD80 for a Japanese dinner per person with an extremely substandard food quality. (See attached photos). I was being assigned to a ‘Store Room’ instead of a guest room with zero view (they call it a western styled Mountain View room, but you can only see a backyard staircase from the window). The hotel staff claimed that I needed to pay for an additional charges for a better view room. Besides, the location and access to the hotel is hard to find, with no shops and restaurants on the surrounding, I needed to walked up an long elevated hillside to the Main Street. Furthermore, hotel facilities is really old and outdated, I can smell cigarette smokes from the corridor. I have traveled around different places and hotel in Japan on the recent year, and probably this is the worst Hot Spring Hotel I have ever visited.

Nice hotel with a great view and staff!
This hotel was clean, quiet and met our needs as a family of 4. The hotel does have a charge for kids, as well as, a small daily resort fee, so be aware of that upon checkin. The staff was friendly and provided us tea and orange juice for the kids upon arroval, then accompanied us to our tatami room to answer any questions we had with an English speaking staff member. The tatami room is worth the extra cash, as it has a great view of the lake and has about 8-10 futon mattresses to lay out ( I was concerned about not sleeping well on the firm floor, but double stacked mine had a great night sleep!) To the reviewers talking about this hotel being “old”; yes it’s not the newest hotel (you won’t find that in this town anyways) but it was clean and meets the standards of a typical Japanese hotel and do agree to stay clear of the western style rooms. Stack up on food/drinks from Lawson or Family Mart ( Not a lot of food options around), get the tatami room, go the onsen/sauna and enjoy the view. You won’t be disappointed.

À l’occasion d’une balade de 2 jours à Unzen,et à la recherche d’un hôtel avec bains à une tarif raisonnable, nous sommes descendus à Azumaen, en profitant d’une promo qui mettait la chambre pour 2, dîner, petit déjeuner et bains, à environ 135 euros par personne. À ce tarif, une chambre occidentale, donc pas de tatami, mais avec l’accueil et le service du niveau attendu dans un hôtel onsen: accueil avec un thé marcha, eau fraîche et et Thermos d’eau chaude pour le thé dans la chambre, avec un bon thé vert et un gâteau, Yutaka, produits pour le bain. Le bain extérieur donne sur un lac, on rêve en regardant les canards et le jardin devant le lac. Le dîner et le petit déjeuner étaient excellents, servis avec l’attention qu’il se doit, à l’horaire de notre choix...

スタッフの対応、清潔感、食事、など諸々が素晴らしかったです。 職員への教育が行き届いているというか、旅館全体で目標・理念が一致し、かつ職員の満足度も高そうな印象でした。 朝食会場のカーテンを開けること一つにしても、左右対象にピッタリ同時に二人のスタッフが開けるなど、何気ない細かいところまでよく訓練されておりそれを当たり前の様にしており、本当に素晴らしいと思いました。

宿は満点、アクセスはやや不便
館内も部屋も広くゆったりとした時間を過ごせた。 部屋からの景色も良い。温泉の浴槽も数種類あり楽しめた。 中心街からやや離れているので、公共交通機関中心での移動だと少し歩くことになる。

行った日が濃霧で何もかも真っ白でした。 目の前の湖（池？）の眺望が素晴らしいとの評判でしたが、部屋からの眺望も、大浴場も残念ながら真っ白でした。 が、真っ白の中の露天風呂は雲海の中で温泉に入っているようで、却って幻想的な雰囲気でよかったです。 1泊朝食付きのプランで宿泊しましたが、朝食の美味しさからやっぱり夕食食べてみたかったなぁと後悔。 雲仙は小さい街なので、食事できるお店はいくつかありますが、やっぱり宿の食事の方がいいかと思います。 宿のみなさんはとても親切でした。

Hotel close, so we were sent to Hotel Toyokan.
As the hotel we where going to stay in was closed, was we sent to Hotel Toyokan. With fantastic help from the hotel staff was we shown to our room, who is a classic, old japanese room. The facilities was old, and you could easily see that it was old, but that might be what adds to its charm. The room might be the biggest hotel room I have ever been in, so the size was good. The windows was quite noice when there were some wind, and this is something they should fix. The hotel is close to the center of the small village, and the are many ways to get around to nearby places that should be visited as Mt. Unzen who I recommend. The biggest experience I have from this hotel is the staff. They will do almost everything they can to help you out with every problems you might have. Their english is not perfect, but you will get around. Staying in this hotel was an unforgettable experience. I also recommend to use their unsen, who was nice. Breakfast is a fixed menu for every day served in classic japanese style. The food is good. The hotel big, so there is only free WiFi in the lobby. If I gonna recommend this hotel for others, then it will be because of the staff, who were perfect.

Very remote but large hotel with great views of the lake. Perfect for quiet retreat. Short uphill walk to Main Street to visit the Jigoku, which was amazing. Best to have dinner in hotel as choices on Main Street limited.

早晚餐都很好吃，地點離巴士站偏遠，不過有接送服務，服務、風景跟溫泉也是一級棒，不過要注意的是傳統套房才看得到風景，洋房部分是沒有的。

Relaxing Hotel
Very good accommodation. Staff helped as best as possible with English speaking customer. Very comfortable and helpful for any needs during stay. Provided delivery and pick up by hotel transportation to village area for shoppoing and restaurants.

Quality time of silence
A lady at the front told me that it's a kind of SLOW season, so I've seen only few people staying. I was lucky because public bath is always just for me! No high-school kids! Every facilities are clean and quiet. Perfect for hiding out from big city life... The location is a bit away from main street and the building is right next of the lake which you could see from public bath. Unfortunately it was raining during my stay but the lake view from bath was something cool and quiet. You could walk to stores and small diners for 5 to 1 min.
