Once the property was located, it was easily reachable, and in a nice location close to the beach. The motel is small, as are the rooms, and the owner (very friendly) maintains the property in excellent condition.

כן אנו רוצים לספר לכם דוד הזמין חדר בהוטל קום בערב חג לזוג לפי 500 שח פלוס מעמ והגיע אחרי השעה 7 בערב וביקש גם להשאר עד מוצאי חג בגללו איחרנו לשולחן החג שהיינו מוזמנים בעיר אחרת אחרי זה למחרת ב 8 ורבע בערב הוא התלונן למה הוא צריך לשלם מעמ ויצא לו יקר למה בכלל הזמנת חדר ואם אתה לא רואה מה אתה מזמין. חבל מאוד שעזרתי לך ואתה כותב מאכזב. תתבייש.

This is a very basic, typical Israeli hotel. Not at all a luxury hotel, by American standards, but fine by Israeli standards. Clean and comfortable. Excellent location! The staff was extremely helpful at all times. The breakfasts were delicious. My only complaint was that it was too hot in the dining area. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

The Hotel/Motel was what the label said on the tin. It was a basic room and facilities. The management were extremely helpful, and the location excellent.

Outstanding service
When my friend and I arrived at the Ga’aton Motel, she discovered that her purse with her passport was left on the bus. Moti, the owner, called the bus company and his wife drove her to the bus station to get her purse. We were able to keep our luggage in our room, at no charge, while waiting for the 1st train after Shabbat ends. Moti and his wife were outstanding hosts going above and beyond to accommodate our requests.

Great hospitality and great location
Moti (owner of the motel) is a great host. He is very friendly. He looks after his guests and makes sure that they enjoy their stay. His motel is perfectly clean and the location is fantastic: in the center of Nahariyah on Hagaaton Boulevard just a few steps away from the beach and nice restaurants, cafés and shops. When I was concerned about my car rental, Moti offered to call them and he arranged everything for me. He was incredibly helpful. I have stayed with this motel six times already and I plan to come back everytime I am in Nahariyah.

Wholly unsatisfied
Hotel is under construction. The window blinds are locked shut so there is no light, it is like being in a room with no windows. Water which was provided, and highlighted as being complementary during the tour of the facility, was already open and not full. Shower pressure was dismal.
Dear Simon, We're sorry to hear you've had a bad experience. Indeed the hotel's outdoors was under renovation for 2 weeks to improve the experience of our guests. Regarding the water, it's very strange, is we always put new fresh water. If by any chance it was not the case, the easy solution would be to ask us for a new bottle and that would be solved on the spot. Best, Gaaton Motel

Small, clean, up one floor, no elevator, cheap
The manager did everything to make us comfortable. It will NEVER be part of the Hilton chain, but it was clean and all we needed. Main street of a charming town, a block from the sea.
