We booked a stay here for us and two generations of our family due to the facilities, including the gardens and Executive Lounge. Sadly, we were disappointed in both.
The hotel was previously part of the 4 star Dusit chain, but has since been sold to the 3 stat Imperial chain. The rooms were clean and had been refurbished to some extent (old furniture, etc not replaced). The staff, other than in the restaurant, were pleasant and helpful, and breakfast okay.
The "grounds" other than the pool overlooked a very busy 6 lane highway and it was impossible to sit in this area. The promised Executive Lounge was a small, dark room (the lights were kept switched off) with about 4 chairs and a non functioning coffee machine; neither a lounge nor "executive".
The restaurant had a limited, over-priced menu and was barely used by our fellow guests save for breakfast.
This was once no doubt Korat's premier hotel, but it is now in a sad state of decline. There are other hotels (especially the Kantary) which are far better.
