Management was very accomodating with room change, immediate response to our need for her to come to our room regarding tv and landline. Flexibility with check out time when I had important meeting at Check out time. Room looked lovely when we opened the door, looks like some nice recent renos have been down to this very established facility. Comfy Beds and chairs. Being right on The beach!!!!!!!!! With huge glass wall and door facing the beach!!!

The fan in the bathroom is very noisy and ineffective - there is mold beginning to grow on the ceiling. It was quiet until people left very early and did a lot of banging. I also could hear talking tin the room next to me.

Great location - beach, shopping, walking trails and parks all quick and easy to access. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, not very soundproof. The highway and nextdoor guests were quite noticeable, though things quiet down overnight.

Sand Pebbles elicits a nostalgia for simpler times. The configuration provides opportunities to appreciate the friendliness of fellow travellers, have privacy when desired, and room for outdoor games, too. And of course, the beach front location is spectacular.

Directly on beach . Amazing views and swimming . Hotel newly reno inside but outside needs lots of love . Our breaker blew 3 times and i lost all my food . I understand its been a on-going problem . But staff discounted my stay greatly !

This property is as close to the ocean as you can get. Absolutely stunning view out the balcony.

Nice Hotel
The Hotel is located perfectly right on the beach. From the outside the hotel does not look like much. The hotel could use a good refinish to make it more modern. The hotel does have a nice courtyard to hang out in during the day / evening. Rooms are renovated nicely to give it a more modern touch but there are some minor details that needs to be attended to the rooms to make the renovations complete. All in all. Our family would stay here again.

Beachfront view from our suite. The suite was recently renovated and was well-equipped with a full kitchen. The outside of the building looks dated, but it's likely to be renovated next.

Great - Very clean rooms, newly renovated. Ocean view from the bed! Pets okay. Kitchenette amenities good. Not great - no hot water. Best we got was lukewarm. Also when I turned the shower on, the bolt in the handle must have been stripped because the shower would not turn off and kept spinning on itself. The shower ended up running for hours before facilities management could come and take a look. Also not great - the outside of the building looks a little neglected. Lots of nice planters full of weeds. Would make a big difference to see those planted up or tidied a bit! Otherwise a very bucolic getaway right on the water. I do recommend despite the not greats listed.

Wonderful property directly at the beach. Small drawback is the main road just at the hotel which you can hear in your room. If you have a light sleep, use ear plugs. Otherwise beautiful location.

We had a room on the road side which was very noisy with the window open. Would request one further back next time. Good place for a stopover and would stay again. Was all contactless due to COVID.

There is nothing but beauty here by the beach in Qualicum Beach. The room is bright and clean. We adhered closely to the COVID rules, as did the staff at Sand Pebbles. We recommend this resort for a beautiful stay by the sea.

Beautiful views! Decent price. Would stay again
The hotel rooms are renovated and nice! Comfy beds! Had an issue with lack of hot water, called the number but no response. Our stay was for four nights and with the pandemic felt like we were left alone. Correspondence in the room says to call, but no return calls.

Our room was clean, updated and very well maintained, it was well stocked with the necessities and we had a nice view of the ocean, check in and out was contactless which was convenient, what we liked most was the price, we will be back and highly recommend this property to others

The room was good. They have completed some up grades. The bed was fantastic. As there were three of us staying there there should have been enough towels etc. When I went to get additional towels I couldn’t get anyone to come to the door. I pressed the button a few times with no response. I also tried calling the desk by phone but there was so much static on the phone you wouldn’t be able to hear anything.

I think it's possible you might've caught us when the office was closed, our front office is not 24/7; and we do have the hours posted on the front door and someone attending the desk and phone during those hours. great spot, needs some touch ups
I had requested an early check in when I got the call about the check in time and extra cleaning for Covid, my request was granted (about an hour and a half earlier than stnd check in) when we got there however, it looked like the bathroom floor hadn't even been swept. Otherwise friendly staff. upgrades had clearly been done but unfortunately, some of the execution was a little disappointing (pencil marks on quartz counters, drywall patching left unpainted, visible joints in drywall where up lighting behind bed accentuated it. very nice location.

The room that we stayed in was partly renovated. New bed was very comfortable. Great view from the 2nd floor balcony. Whoever is doing the renovation has very poor workmanship. Paint on the newly tiled bathroom floor. Lower portion of bathroom door did not get painted for some reason ! New laminate coming apart in the bathroom. Walls were not sanded down properly and you can see so many imperfections.

We enjoyed our stay at Sand Pebbles very much . Sitting watching the tide come in was very relaxing. Short walk to the farmers market in town. From the outside the buildings look old , our room was all redone and was very nice 🙂

The property is right by the beach. It was lovely to see the tide come in and go out. It is minutes away from the Heritage Forrest where we enjoyed later afternoon walks. The property is a little aged. Some of the furnishing need some maintenance. But the room and the courtyard are well kempt. During my stay, the WiFi connection was a bit spotty. The location is only 3 minutes' drive from town centre where shopping and dining. A gas station, a convenient store and laundromat are just across the street.

My hubby has mobility issues and I would not recommend if you have issues. To get from car to room we found it difficult with stumbling hazards. He uses a walker as a stroke effected his left leg. The step into room was toohigh my hubby tripped. Might just be him.....to go out there is another obstacle although the manager did get the handyman to build a ramp which we appreciated. That’s as far as hubby could go as it is lawn out to the seating area and he couldn’t navigate, which was fine. There was also no leeway to get in a bit early or leave a bit late. We got our parking pass early but hubby stayed in car as no place to get into courtyard safely...bathroom for a big person is back in no room to manoeuvre if you need a walker. Lack of garbage cans there was only 1 small one and a small recycle. Mostly just annoying. The beds are comfortable. The shower was great. The beach was the draw for me. It was amazing!!!!! The sunset again amazing!!!! I would go again if my hubby wasn’t with me. My issues are for those with mobility issues.

Our stay at this hotel was amazing the room was spacious and the decor was up-to-date and modern the view of the ocean was breathtaking staff was very friendly and we enjoyed are stay there so much so we're going back at the end of the month for a few more days
