환상으로 남는 여행이었어요.
전혀 생각치도 못한 멋진 숙소였습니다. 숙소 바로 앞에 펼쳐진 바다는 환상적이었어요. 부엌도 넓어서 음식을 하는데 불편함이 전혀 없었습니다. 직원들도 친절했구요. 무엇보다 주변 경치가 너무 좋아 산책하기에 더 없이 좋았어요. 다음에 꼭 다시 가보고싶어요.

They have multiple correspondence about welcoming you to their hotel, etc prior to arriving. However NO where on their emails correspondence will let you know or remind you that their main office is closed at 5:30pm. Check in was a nightmare if you arrive late. Make sure to get there before 5:30pm as the office will be closed till the next morning. Worse part is they offer a phone and phone number/email to contact the hotel, but it will NOT be answered or returned till someone comes in the next morning. They did try to contact us prior to closing, however the signal on the island can be horrible with most coming from elsewhere. We, unfortunately, did not get their info about lock box and no one ever returned our multiple messages/emails in regards to getting into our booked suite. I just don't want anyone to go through what we did. However the property and guests were lovely.

Toller Blick auf das Meer und viel Platz für vier Personen. Der Zugang zum Wasser ist in Ordnung, aber wie überall recht schmerzhaft durch die Steine. Aber es gibt super Seen in der Umgebung und tolle Urwälder.

Parking was onsite, apt. was in very good condition, super clean, nice gas heater stove, roomy with good furniture, late checkin was seamless. Accommodation was quiet and the ocean view and being right on the ocean was great.

Our Stay at Shorewater
The rooms were clean and comfortable with direct access and view of the beach. The area was very peacful and calm for our entire stay. The only slightly odd thing was that on our second day, people climbed up a ladder to clean our balcony and windows and could look directly into our rooms. Not having any advance notice of this our curtains were wide open and it was a bit of a surprise to look up and see something a foot from you on the other side of the glass. They were doing their job and the property managers should have been letting guests know that people would be cleaning their balconies at that time. Besides that, everything was very nice and we would probably stay again of we were in the area.

The stay was amazing. Waterfront view was beautiful. Our stay was way too short to enjoy this amazing place. I would stay here again and again if the price is comparable in the peak season.

Check in was efficient and friendly. The suite was comfortable and very clean, with all the basic necessities (no dishwasher) and excellent ocean front views. My only complaint would be the noise of highway traffic..but that is not within The Shorewater's control. We will be back!

Better to stay in upper level unit?
Communication before our stay was very good and the location is great- right on the beach. :-) We stayed in a ground level unit and when there wasn't anyone staying in the suite above us, our unit was very quiet. When there were guests staying in the upper unit, we could what seemed like every step they took- it reminded me of when I lived in a basement suite. I would like to try staying in an upper unit but would not likely stay in a ground level one again. Check in and check out staff were very friendly and helpful- thank you!

Great location on the beach, clean and everything that you need. We had two grandkids with us and each had their own bed, so they were happy. Easy check in and out.

Good resort
No dishwasher. No after hours contact to resort staff for emergencies. The beach was amazing. There is also a sandy area on property for kids to play that was awesome.

We LOVE the Shorewater !
We have stayed there twice and it has been wonderful each time. Qualicum is stunning. The location of the Shorewater is no exception. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. We made an error in booking date and they were happy to change it even though our booking was non-refundable. We will absolutely be back.

The price was excellent, especially considering that the suite had a full kitchen and a gorgeous ocean view. The staff were wonderful, and the suite was very clean. We defiantly will be back and will be recommending Shoreline Resort to every one we know!

A lovely place to stay for a few days (or more)
Just a lovely spot - and the decent kitchen was icing-on-the-cake. i've got diet "issues" so being able to cook a normal meal was just wonderful. The combination of food i can eat with chairs at the edge of the beach to sip wine was so much better than a regular hotel. I will be back !

Cozy and Comfortable
We arrived late afternoon and was welcomed with a warm and friendly smile. Checking in was fast which allowed the host to escort us to our warm and cozy room on the lower level of the resort. The room was amazingly clean and felt like home away from home. The room had a separate kitchen with full compliment of utensils, dinnerware, glassware, full fridge, stove etc. everything you need while away including a wine bottle opener. Separate 3 piece bathroom with fluffy white towels, face cloths etc. The queen size bed was comfortable and allowed for a restful sleep listening to the waves and the sea lions. A flat screen tv and electric fireplace including a lounge area with a couch and a table and 4 chairs allows for a fully functional room to relax and enjoy the amazing view of the beach and ocean which is just a few steps from the patio and sliding doors of the well appointed room. With amazing restaurants and local pubs within walking distance, the Shorewater Resort will be a regular stop for us anytime we are in the Qualicum Beach area.

My unit was located on the beach and the beach was only a few steps outside the patio door - had a ground level unit. Nice beach to walk. This is the Pacific Northwest, people, not the Caribbean. The beach is rocky but beautiful.

Disappointing Family Weekend Trip
Had booked for 2 nights but left after only 1 night! Suite 208 looked very dated, mezzanine area looked quite scary, mattresses were uncomfortable, had booked for 5 people but only 3 seats to sit & watch tv. Had to wash every glass we used since there was a $25 charge otherwise...dish rack had mould in corners! We also found 2 big spiders in the room🙁

Hello Linda, I am sorry and concerned to hear about your experience, as such occurrences are rare at our facility. Our staff always try to go the extra mile for our guests to ensure their comfort. Our office is open daily from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm to assist guest with concerns they may have during their stay. I have asked the housekeeping team to look into the matter of the dish rack, and yes we do have a policy in place regarding cleaning dishes before checking out. The upper units can be tight with more then four persons and based on your feedback we are reevaluating the occupancy for the units. As to the spiders...I am not fond of them either! We do our best to keep the outside.

Love the proximity to the ocean and suite was handy to have with children. This room worked well for our young family. Our suite in particular (208) needs some upgrades. The carpet was filthy. The rest of the room was immaculate though. The hotel’s wifi was weak and most of the time we could not use it. The room was overall quiet. We’ll likely stay at this hotel again, for surely not this room. The proximity to amenities was great!

As to your comment regarding the carpet, please be assured that we do have carpets cleaned multiple times throughout the year. Unfortunately during the peak season it is difficult to have cleaners do carpets due to drying time and fitting that in between reservations. The unit was checked, spots were cleaned, and has been slated in for its "after summer" full cleaning.
