Good location in Narrabri
The cabins were nice & well appointed. The park looked to be in good condition & the location was good. The only negatives were that the cupboards & drawers could have been cleaner (especially the cutlery drawer); & the frying pan was in poor condition & should be replaced.

Quiet and quaint
Wanted a quiet spot away from road traffic, and the Big Sky provided it. Stayed in a Villa on a weekday when one would normally expect a fair bit of truck noise, but could hardly hear anything from inside the room. Checkin was friendly and efficient, and the park was similar. Amenities in the room included everything that would be in a normal hotel room, with a slightly larger kitchen than comes in some hotel rooms. Checkout was just as easy as checkin, and everything in between worked just as expected.

We stayed for a single night on a road-trip. This place had exactly what we needed to make this really comfortable, including a great open space for the kids to play.

Short villa stay
Only stayed a night but staff very friendly and efficient villa well stocked with tea coffee etc and good informative folder available in the villa.

The Park was nice . HOWEVER, the gentleman that owns the park was rude. We are not from Australia so our local friends were going to pick us up each day and take us around but he would not even let them come in the park just to pick us up. Also, The speed limit is 8k, we were going maybe 10 and he was so rude about us speeding! We were not bad tenants, we were quiet and clean. He needs to chill a bit.

Terrible Service
If you’re going to own a caravan park, at least have some customer service skills. Terrible front desk experience. Then when we got to the room, only one bed was made. Not only do u pay for additional people to stay, but also pay for additional bedding. Usually if you want 4-5 people you need 4-5 beds?? Where do you expect the People to sleep, in the car?? She then preceedes to tell me “you can’t expect all parks to be the same” and “although we booked a ‘motel room’ they were not motel”

Utterly disappointed!
We have been loyal to this park but never again! We never received a confirmation email from Wotif.com... I received a phone call from the woman at the front counter asking if we intended on arriving by 6pm. I said that we had booked for the following night (2 cabins). She told me that it was booked for this night. She told me that she had people wanting cabins but they were full (including our 2 booked). I said to her that we were coming the next night and that there must have been an error. I told her I never received an email confirmation because I would have seen that the dates were wrong. Long story short, she refused a refund - even though she said she could fill the cabins. I can't prove this but I guess they get to double dip. They kept my money and probably took someone else's? Wotif.com never got back to me on where my email confirmation was either. I have rang and I spoke to a man. He was getting his colleague to look into this matter... I am still waiting on my call back regarding this. Never again. Oh and Expedia/Wotif also sell your details onto Third parties. Just look in Terms of Use and scroll down to Privacy Policy. Won't use this website again either.

Good for overnight
Owners are lovely. Generally well kept as per normal. We only stay here overnight as we are visiting family en route to somewhere, so facilities like the playground aren't that important. I wish the car park was sealed as you end up dragging dirt inside unloaded and loading.

This is a good half way stop traveling north to Hervey Bay the unit had a nice little beck out the front good to sit down relax and have a beer after a long drive.

Quiet and Tranquil
Great cabin, air-con on when we arrived after a long hot drive. Friendly staff. Plenty of room for kids to run around and let of steam. Awesome RSL club minutes walk away with awesome themed restaurant.

Great short stop - NOT CHILD FRIENDLY
Cabins and park generally well kept and clean. Absolutely no facilities for children - not even a basic play area. Internal tracks/roads too rough for scooters, so unless you're travelling with bikes your kids will be at a loss for outdoor activities.

Nice place to stay for a overnight stop-over.
Nice place to stay for a stop-over. a bit sparse for facilities, with no swimming pool which would have been nice after a long hot drive. But it is right next to the public pool, so it can be forgiven for that. Nice friendly reception staff and quick check in and check out. Cabin was clean, tidy but the bedrooms a bit tiny (barely fits the double bed in. Would be happy to return for stop overs.

Clean and modern cabin
New clean cabin set on lush green lawn surrounded by gums with friendly management at a good price. Why would you want a boring motel room for the same price.

Safe haven off the main street
Upon arrival we were greeted at the reception desk and straight away felt at home - we were even more surprised when (after arriving 2.5 hours early) we were told our room was ready for us! With parking right outside to door and a small verandah, this small villas have everything you need - air-con, a kitchen with fridge, stove, toaster, kettle etc plus a small table to eat out. The bed was comfortable with plenty of extra pillows + an amazing fan! The bathroom is small but has everything you could need for a short stay. Overall we were pleasantly surprised with the standard of cleanliness + the amenities available. We will definitely be recommending this place to anyone who asks! Thank you!
