Excellent stay and value for money
This was a memorable stay on the beautiful island of Naxos. Irene (number one!) went above and beyond with her warm hospitality. I booked for six nights and stayed for 8, but could have stayed forever. The apartment was cool, clean and comfortable and even had a well-stocked kitchenette. Easy walking distance to everything in Naxos town but in a quiet backstreet. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent accommodation. Highly recommended.
I had the standard single/double room with balcony. Truly excellent! Booked for 7 and stayed 10. Pristinely clean and decorated. The balcony, with the view of the church in the foreground with the mountains in the distance, was sublime. The presents of ice-cream, cake and even a complete meal, really made this place special. Highly, highly recommended.

L'unica cosa positiva della pensione è la proprietaria molto gentile. Per il resto la camera piccola è il letto scomodo. Le foto su expedia non sono reali. All'arrivo ci hanno dato una camera buia senza balcone con due letti singoli. Io avevo prenotato x una familiare ma loro non ne sapevano nulla. La posizione è a 10 minuti dal centro ma è tutta in salita. Non col passeggino facevano una sudata ogni giorno. Sconsigliato vivamente

Irene Pension I ligger i et fint område med 10 min gang til både Naxos by og stranden. Placeringen er ideel. Inventaret er gammelt og slidt, men fungerer. På vores værelse var der en del myrer, men ellers rent og pænt. Dejligt sted.

Dejligt ophold
Virkelig god value for money. Ejeren er enormt sød og imødekommende - hun gav os friskbagte lokale treats nærmest dagligt. Hotellet er gåafstand fra mange restauranter, havnen og stranden. Værelset er velegnet til et kortere ophold, rent og med god air con. Det eneste, der trækker lidt ned i vores bedømmelse er, at der er meget lydt. Vi kunne (inde fra vores værelse) høre stort set alt hvad der foregik på de andre værelser og ude på gaden. Desuden var der ikke nogen topmadras på sengen, som der ellers stod at der ville være. Sengen var derfor ret hård. Overordnet en fin oplevelse.

Helt ok lokation. Vi blev dock inte hämtade vi hamnen pga. av det var högsäson (ägarens ord). Vi hade bokat och betalt för Irene1 men hamnade på Irene2. Taxin körde hos dit efter chaufförn hade talat med ägaren. Allt detta utan våran vetskap. Väl på Irene1 var personalen trevlig och vänlig.

Great little pension, about 10 mins walk from Naxos town and beach, not for the infirm though, surrounding area is uneven underfoot, also quite hilly. Stavros and his mum are really nice people. Mum left little home backed treats in our room most days :-)

Une pension "trop" familiale
A notre arrivée, nous avons de suite été redirigé vers Irene Pension II. L'accueil est chaleureux et généreux avec de petites attentions comme la glace offerte à l'arrivée ou les parts de cake laissées après le ménage. L'hôtel, bien situé à 50m de la très jolie plage de Saint Georges (sable fin et mer limpide) et 10min à pied du centre ville de Naxos, est un peu désuet malgré la piscine : la douche est étroite, le matelas est dur et le linge de maison est rèche. Malgré tout, le personnel est très sympathique et vous mènera volontiers au port le jour de votre départ.

Séjour agréable
Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits avec notre petit fils à la pension Irène. Quartier très calme, non loin de la ville. Bien que nous n'ayons rien demandé, M. Stavros nous attendait à l'arrivée du ferry. Arrivés chez lui, il nous a offert des glaces. Adresse à recommander.

Très bonne pension de famille.
Une très bonne pension de famille, située dans un quartier calme de Naxos, à deux pas du port et des rues piétonnes. Excellent accueil et service de Starvos et Irene qui se proposent par exemple spontanément de venir vous chercher ou déposer au port. Le ménage est fait quotidiennement. Bref très bon rapport qualité / prix. Ne changez rien!

Stayed at Irene II and the room was a bit smelly upon arrival. After using the ac on drying-mode the humidity went slightly away. However, the linen seemed to be very old since they never stopped smelling... The owners were nice and helpfull. The location of the hotel is great!

The pension has got a good accommodition,but the view is not good.Stavros pick us up from the port,he is very kind,every day our room cleans and change our towels,in the morning we had well-tasted cakes,near the pension by walking 5 minutes everything you can find what you want,supermarket,bakery,cafes..Thanks for everything

Clean and quiet
The hotel is in a fairly good place. A little out of the main area but that makes for a quieter rest! Close to a great bakery, market and bus stop. I walked to Fira...about 20 min and it was a nice walk. There is a pool which is nice and the rooms were always clean. Never had any problems. The only negative was the hotel location was off a main street amd you had to wind back through some walkeays to find the hotel. Luckily there were signs. It worked out fine. Call the owner for pickup from the airport and save yourself the cab fare. Now that I know where the hotel is located Ill take the bus from the airport!

Great location
The guy who runs the hotel is very knowledgeable and friendly. They had overbooked for the first night we stayed and had to put us up in another hotel down the road for the night. Even though it was only a 2 minute walk they came and picked us up the next morning and upgraded our room for us, so we were very happy with the service. The WiFi not good and only worked intermittently. Otherwise great location, everywhere in walking distance. They had very good water pressure in the shower, the best we had in Greece.

Veramente un bel soggiorno
Siamo stati davvero molto bene alla Pensione Irene I. E' davvero un luogo con un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo e i titolari, mamma Irene e Stavros ,suo figlio, sono persone carinissime. Ci hanno offerto il gelato appena arrivati, Stavros ci ha dato informazioni e spiegazioni utili su come muoverci ed un giorno mamma Irene ci ha fatto trovare in camera due buonissime fette di torta fatta da lei.La camera da letto era spaziosa e avevamo a disposizione un bel terrazzino sul quale abbiamo fatto colazione.Ci siamo innamorati dell'isola e della cordialità della gente del posto. Speriamo di tornarci presto e consigliamo a tutti un soggiorno da Irene e Stavros

Perfect hotel for anyone staying in Naxos
Although we only stayed one night in Naxos, we had a great time and wish we had stayed longer. The owner was incredibly friendly, helpful and went out of his way to ensure we had a great stay. The location was in a quiet neighbourhood, with great restaurants and cafes less than a five minute walk. The walk to the city centre was about 10-15 minutes. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend Pension Irene and will be staying there on our next visit to Naxos.
