Number 1 Hotel in Jamaica.
This hotel is very nice. Hotel is very beautiful,they has good restaurant.(Ivan's bar) But most good thing is kindness of staff. They tell many thing to me kindly. So I am impressive. If I go Negril again, I must visit again

I'll start by saying we spent 2 weeks at Catcha Falling Star and enjoyed everything the resort has to offer. The staff was welcoming, helpful and friendly. We stayed in the Venus suite that had spectacular views, storm watching and sunsets. The only drawback was the loud DJ music from Rick's Cafe and the plumbing in the bathroom needs to be updated. Otherwise we would highly recommend a stay here.

Miss Cassandra and her staff have once again proved that Catcha is a special place. Consistent for sure. Staff are fantastic, food great, atmosphere perfect. Special thanks to our servers Carol, Davina, Ordia and Kevin the lifeguard. We appreciate all the staff and we definitely feel like part of the family. We love the Pisces cottage but be prepared for street noise. For us it is part of the atmosphere but some may find it too loud. There are other options at the resort and all rooms are great. See you next year.

We had a cottage(Libra)...and thoroughly enjoyed the proximity to the crashing waves. Each of the cabins allowed privacy and were comfortable. We appreciated the unique touches abd thecstaff were superb.

Gem location. Beautiful cliffside property, immaculate flowering grounds. Excellent staff. Only 17 units & fully booked during our stay, yet still felt secluded. Ivan’s, great restaurant & baron site. If you chose to, Rick’s Cafe is right next door for some evening action. Highly recommend Catcha Falling Star

What an amazing place. The staff was excellent everyone was friendly. The food was great, one of the best places to eat in Negril. The views of the ocean and the sunset were spectacular. Will repeat next year. It’s on the cliffs with a small pool, left the resort one time to go down to the beach. Didn’t need to go anywhere. A great place to chill and do nothing. I loved this property.

Catcha Falling Star is a fantastic place in the wonderful West End of Negril. Great location, beautiful scenery, friendly and helpful people all around. Ivan's is the best restaurant in Negril and so between staying as a guest and having Ivan's bar and restaurant right there - tremendous. They could do some routine maintenance in units and upgrade the microwave, but these are minor given how great everything else is.

Paradise Found
Catcha exceed our expectations! We loved our room, the Coral, and our housekeeper, Loretta. We ate all of our meals, except 1, at Ivan’s. The Chef does magic, and never disappoints. The ambiance of dining at Ivan’s goes without saying. We have already booked a return stay. We went from there to a beach location, and there is no comparison. My only “issue” was the water pressure. I have very thick hair, and trying to get shampoo out was a challenge, but after a couple of days you just don’t care. 😬. The rooms are all so very different, but we found our little piece of paradise in the Coral. That’s why we wanted to hold it this far in advance. I wouldn’t change a thing. 💝

This property is very charming. Wait staff were amazing and friendly. If you are looking for 5 star status this ain’t your place. It’s very private and more like living on a tree house environment, which was beautiful. Manager could use an new hospitality course.

The property location is beautiful. Staff were very nice and always making sure you had everything you need. Service in resturant slow-but excellent food. Clean rooms. Unusual few people hanging out around pool/resturant our last two days that was hassling a few guest trying to get them to “take tours of island”. The staff spoke to them friendly but did not make them leave. They were not paying guest and surprised they were allowed to sit in resturant and walk around property all day. Lastly, the construction-Owner is putting in rock over concrete and bit annoying with noise and limited sitting by the pool. We were not aware of this. Overall, relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Hello, I am sorry you were not aware of renovations. When booking with us during the month of September it states that the low prices are due to renovation sale at the time of booking. In regards to outside people being in the restaurant; Ivan's is open to the public. We do not allow harassment and apologize if you feel that we did not deal with it properly. We will improve on that part! It makes us glad to hear that you found the property to be beautiful and the staff to be nice. A very beautiful, intimate property with wonderful staff. Resident dogs Lucky & Lulu are the sweetest pets. All staff we encountered were so kind and welcoming. We can’t wait to return.

I really enjoyed our stay at catcha fallin star. The rooms were very clean, with AC and no mosquitoes thanks to the screens on the windows behind the wooden shades. The property is beautiful and over looks the ocean and has plenty of cliff jumping, if you’re into that sorta thing. The staff is super nice and welcoming, by our fourth day we were on first name basis with everyone from security to chefs :) For a warmer welcoming Jamaica feel stay here.

This hotel was absolutely fantastic. Staff were all great. Ivan's restaurant is deliciousl. View is breathtaking. Quiet and chill, but you can walk up the road in 2 mins to Ricks Cafe for a party, or cab to the beach. Alot of other good restaurants nearby. Fun swimming in the ocean and the sunset cant be beat. We even got to see some wild dolphins. Overall amazing experience!

Great place to stay if you love a scenic natural Jamaica setting and watching the boats go into Ricks Cafe. Also a great view of the working lighthouse! Nice pool and area to swim in the sea! Great lifeguard too! Popular restaurant…Ivans! The Star cottage is very roomy but could use the branches from the almond trees removed from over the roof area so the almonds wont fall onto it at night and wake the guests up😊

Great place to be!
We had a very nice stay! The Moon cottage could use a little TLC but was clean and had everything we needed. We were awakened at times at night by barking dogs and other loud noises that seemed to come from the gate/entry area of the hotel, but other than that no issues. Great staff and a beautiful place!

Great stay!!!
This is not your typical hotel it’s cottage style accommodations with a rustic feel. The grounds are immaculate and the rooms are Very clean. They do a great job with the upkeep of the premises. The only thing I would say for my room for example is that the electrical seem to need upgrading.

Beautiful property and excellent restaurant
Catch a falling star is a magnificent property on the cliffs of Negril. The property amenities as well as the on-site restaurant , Ivan’s, were excellent! My baggage was lost by the airline and Cassandra , the manager, was so very helpful in making multiple calls to the airline as well as lending me some essential items. The rooms are a little outdated and ours was a bit noisy being by the gate , but we knew this might be the case prior to booking . Overall I would recommend staying here!

Every room is unique decor and vibe I took the opportunity to see most rooms on the property and could see myself staying at any one of them. Food and staff were amazing.
