Fantastic place to stay for the price. Room was big and beds were comfy. The free laundry was a blessing as we have a 10mknth old baby so was nice to be able to use that. Inly real down sides were car parking is very very tricky they are small and its a bit of a trick to get in and out. Also there was no heater or heating in the room for us to use. Otherwise would definitely stay again

Awesome stay comfortable beds lovely and clean the only thing it needs is a fan very hot even with all the windows open

Very hospitable and helpful, especially in helping us store bikes! Free laundry was very welcome after the day riding over from Havelock. Friendly, comfortable and helpful

Nice, friendly hosts. Spacious, clean rooms with sky TV and kitchenette. Comfortable beds and laundry facilities. Only negatives were the old fashioned shower with very little water pressure, and very tight parking spaces.

Great venue, close to beach, playground, local amusement park, and motel owner was really nice and very helpful! Very happy with our 2bdrm unit, during a long weekend break! :)

Stayed 4 nights, very clean, the staff were very friendly and accommodating to our changes required. Centred nicely for all the things we wanted to do in the area. Make a point to explore the region you will not regret it. Would definitely stay again.

perfectly fine, clean and affordable.
A last minute mistake had us scrambling for accommodation. This place is no-frills but perfectly adequate. The most important thing was that it’s clean and we had space.

For my husband and I the room would have been fine but with an extra adult it just wasn’t really suitable, rooms very small for up to 5 people. Best price in Nelson that we could find but that’s because Nelson is too expensive to start with. So many motels sitting empty that could reduce their prices and have higher occupancy. Manager very approachable.

Tidy handy Motel
Overall it was pleasant. It is handy to the city and environs. Mostly clean and tidy but the floors could have been cleaner. We were mainly happy with it all.
