기대 이상 백패커스
백패커스 트윈룸이었는데, 기대이상으로 만족임. 분위기도 좋고 여러가지 시설이나 부대서비스가 좋음. 바를 겸하고 있어 바에서 저렴하게 식사가능하고 술도 할인됨. 무료주차 무료 와이파이에 가격도 저렴하고 6인실 4인실도 분위기 좋아보임. 주변이 조용하고 중심가와는 걷는 거리가 좀 되지만 센터오브뉴질랜드와 뒤쪽에 조용히 산책할만한 공간들과는 가까움.

Prince Albert is a great place to stay after a long car drive or a long motorbike ride. I came up from Christchurch. About 430km about 5h30m driving. A solid day on road with lunch break mid-way to break the journey. Great to arrive and check in and have a good meal and drink in bar then walk upstairs to bed without worrying about parking or drinkng and driiving afterward.

Comfortable, affordable
Has all you need for an overnight stay. Comfortable private room with en-suite, and TV. No desk or tea-making facilities in room, but shared kitchen and cheap meals and drinks from the Bar (which has been we'll decorated with pleasant ambiance). Friendly and helpful staff

Séjour décevant!!!!
La chambre était confortable, spacieuse et propre. Le petit déjeuner était normalement compris mais en arrivant le 31 décembre j'ai appris qu'exceptionnellement il n'y aurait pas de petit déjeuner car le personnel était "libéré" le 1er janvier. Je n'ai pas eu de petit déjeuner le 2 non plus car je suis partie très tôt à 7h15!!! La chambre n'a pas été nettoyée non plus le 1er janvier. Le bar et la réception étaient fermés depuis la soirée du 31 jusqu'au 2 décembre, c'est à dire la durée de mon séjour. J'ai trouvé que le prix de la chambre était exorbitant tenant compte du service pratiquement inexistant.

Everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the owner Mike. Check in was fast and easy and I was shown around the property. Room was clean, good facilitators, they even offer you bikes to use. Great location, walkable to everything in town. Nice bar and restaurant on the main floor, offering good food and drink specials.

The character and charm of the hotel was lovely. Proximity to town great - not too close but not fr to walk. Parking good. Staff friendly and helpful. Expected tea and coffee making facility for the price plus a mini fridge. Did not expect the room to be included in back packer arrangements ie use of kitchen facilities but nothing provided in the room. I am disappointed that after emailing to ask if Id left an expensive, special pashmina scarf behind, they did not even reply.

I'm sorry that you were unaware that we are a backpackers and as such our cooking facilities etc a communal. Also it appears that your email may have been filtered into our junk folder for some reason. Please provide a detailed description of the scarf and I would have look through our lost property. Need a hairdryer and jug, cups in the room. Might be time to fix the hole in the carpet as this is a trip hazard at night

Clean, cheap and cheerful.
Stayed for 2 nights. Very cheap. Very central. Clean and basic but has all you need for a few nights. Continental breakfast included. Staff really friendly. Food in bar was really good.

Private room in a backpackers
We arrived late and there was problems with the booking / communication but they still accommodated us. Great for a private room in a backpackers - we were in and out for the one night so didn't get to use the facilities too much but seems generally as expected for a backpackers.

The PA Backpackers and Bar is located near downtown and has a nice bar with cheap drinks for guests. The en suite room was a good size and had a surprisingly large bathroom. My only complaint is that the room was not clean. The carpet was noticeably dirty, and there was hair in the shower.

Great place to stayed
Unfussy, simple accommodation. Room was clean with decent space. Good location for town and food options. With a private room you had the best of both worlds - access to the communal kitchen and laundry as well as you own private space. Staff were all lovely and friendly too.

No tuvimos ningún problema con el check-in, la recepcionista fue simpática y las habitaciones eran cómodas y estaban limpias. El principal problema que tuvimos es que no hubo desayuno dos de los tres días que nos quedamos. En la recepción ni siquiera nos avisaron que no iba a abrir el restaurante por lo que tuvimos que dar vueltas por toda la ciudad para encontrar un lugar para desayunar. No volvería.

The best place to stay in Nelson!
Everything about the Prince Albert was amazing. We loved the location (less than 5 minutes to downtown), super friendly and helpful staff, great value for the price. Rooms were clean and charming. Will definitely stay again!

We liked our room and the flair of the bar downstairs. Also we enjoyed exploring beautiful nelson (city center within walking distance) and the beach. We didn't like the kitchen which everyone can use. It was very dirty... The hotel offers free breakfast and free bike renting which is great.

Loved this place super friendly welcome we got there late hadn’t eaten and the fired up some fries for us still good WiFi and facilities ... we stayed in a private room but noticed the hostel rooms bad little hammocks outside of them which was cute ... would definately stay again :-)

Great location and value for money
Booked last minute for a well earned weekend away over easter. Great value with nice large room. Felt very welcome by staff. Bar great. Free breakfast a plus. Really central to nelson. Mike always willing to offer suggestions of where to go and what to see. The owners dogs are lovely too

Backpackers with breakfast included
This is a couple-friendly backpackers as we were able to book our own ensuite room. The room wasn't smart, but was clean and functional, and quiet enough despite being at the front of the building. It's walkable to the centre of Nelson, and there is onsite parking as well.. One of the advantages is that breakfast is provided; cereals, toast, juice and hot drinks, and a waffle maker with ingredients and instructions!
