I looked that the service was very friendly and easy for check in The room needed just a little bit more cleaning (shower walls had "stuff" on them and the top sheet of the bed had something on it. I just didn't use it)

1st floor room closest to dining on right is BAD
We booked a room at the last minute, the last room available. We got to sleep at 1am, and the noise began at 6am and would not stop. Unbeknownst to us, our first floor room to the right just right the dining area was also right next to their pantry closet. The meal staff repeatedly banged pans and slammed that door so loud we could not go back to sleep. I work long hours during the week, and thought we'd be sleeping in until 9 at least. Instead, we got at most 5 hours. At our age, too little sleep can affect our blood pressure and concentration as we had to drive back to the Houston area in the afternoon.

Not ADA Friendly
Reserved room with accessible bathroom and transfer shower for mobility impared. Even noted that we would be arriving late, so they wouldn't give the room to someone else. But they did anyway. Was giving room for hearing impared, that did not have accessible bathroom. Couldn't shower and had to use bathroom in the lobby.

Not what I thought for a Marriott.
We were surprised that the interior was old and not up to date. Mold on ceiling of shower and pool room was dirty. Staff was friendly.

Very impressed with this hotel … clean, updated and the folks were great! Fairfield used to be at the low end of the Marriott family (and maybe it still is) but this location was very, very, very nice. Have family in the area so will very likely stay here again next time I’m visiting. Two thumbs up!

A VERY HAPPY HOLIDAY
My wife and I spend Christmas in the Texas Hill Country. The Fairfield by Marriot at New Braunfels did not disappoint. The room fit our needs and the breakfast was wonderful

The service was great and check in was easy. My first night there was hair in the shower and the body wash bottle was empty. The next day both of those issues were fixed. The breakfast was great all three days and the room was comfortable.

A “service” to your room is taking out the trash. They asked if I wanted service everyday, and I said yes. On the 3rd night, they finally cleaned the room. The shower pressure was way low too.
