Great stay
Great place to stay, just off of the French Quarters. Breakfast was amazing and several local restaurants in the area.Very friendly and comfortable, with Wi-Fi. Very nice pool. Would stay again.

Unplanned getaway weekend
Neighborhood seemed a little sketchy at first, but we sorta grew into the vibe. Inside, the BnB itself was very comfortable.

B&B Living in a very cool district of New Orleans
Maison de Macarty is the opposite of downtown New Orleans high-rise hotels. It is small and intimate. The hosts, Daniel and Lauren, are very friendly and aim to please at all times. The neighborhood, Bywater, is filled with artists and interesting (and good) small restaurants. Crescent Park is a short walk and is great for a stroll along the Mississippi River. My bathroom could have been better but the bed was comfortable and the room clean. Evenings, join fellow guests or a cocktail at the outdoor bar and pool. If you want to get to know a unique side of New Orleans. Stay here.

Thanks, Paul. Great having you! We love the neighborhood and glad you enjoyed it. We've definitely got some of the bathrooms on the short list to renovate since recently taking over.

Wonderful place. The owners were super in every regard. The breakfast chef was phenomenal. The room was quiet and supremely comfortable. The honor bar and pool were perfect after a day of exploring the City. We truly look forward to finding an excuse to return! If you are looking for a beautiful tropical setting with great hosts and a five star breakfast, this is the place!

アットホームでなごめるB&B!
ニューオリンズ中心地からちょっと離れたバイウォーターにある、南北戦争前からあるちょっとすてきな民家を改装したB&Bです。オーナーのKurtさんとシェフのWarrenさん(朝ごはんが素晴らしい！)ともにフレンドリーで親切にしていただきました。フレンチクォーターまで歩いて20分くらいだったかな？ここはボラれるから行かない方がいいよ、とか近くの美味しいレストランとかも教えてくれたのでとても助かりました。Mardi Gras初日で楽しかったです！

Close to family. Nice neighbourhood close.
This was a very pleasant experience from beginning to end. I felt safe staying alone . The owner & chief were a super welcoming team! I even had a great visit with housekeeper. The house has been well maintained . I would definitely return!

This is not the place to stay if you are traveling for business. I have to travel for 3 - 6 months to New Orleans for an engineering project. I come Monday and leave Thursday night. During Spring break weekend, I was late to schedule my regular hotel (Hampton Convention) and decided to treat myself with a bed and breakfast. To begin with, the house smelled very old (because it is). My room was dusty. I saw dust on the lamp, table, etc. The bathroom was teeeeenyyyy tinyyyyy and that's coming from a person who is 95 lbs. I can't imagine how someone larger would maneuver themselves here. Oh wait also, the room itself was tiny. I did not think the 179/night price tag justified that. The wifi was very spotty. The room temperature was inconsistent even though there was a thermostat. The shower pressure was so so. I booked this hotel because I heard about the great breakfast. The only problem is that it wasn't served until 9 am when I had to leave every day at 8 am. I let the owner know of this so that I could be accommodated in some way. They did leave some fresh fruit for me for the first two days and then completely forgot about me on day 3 :( Even at the Hampton, I always have a go-bag available... Other than that, the neighborhood was sketchy.....maybe I felt that way because I am from such a safe homely place such as Raleigh, NC! I saw quite a few homeless people walk by. Maybe other people will have better luck than me when staying here.

Gracious living
For this first time in NOLA we packed in an overview of all the neighbourhoods (mainly on foot) that included Uptown, The Garden District, The Warehouse District, The French Quarter, Treme, Marigny and our home base in Bywater. Our taste runs to ferreting out the authentic in communities and the Bywater won hands down with runners up being Treme, Marigny and calmer parts of the French Quarter. To get the best of music requires at least a week because many performers only appear once in that time frame. We had a ball and now know enough to be selective when we return.

B&B had wonderful breakfasts
My husband and I stayed for three nights. The manager/owner was very pleasant and helpful. He gave us a list of restaurants in the area and a line or two about the food and atmosphere. Also told us about the transportation available. That was very helpful. Curtis, the great chef, made magic with omelets. And his afternoon cookie treats were great. The location of the B7B was in a quiet area but close enough to most of the activities. All in all it was a very pleasant stay.

Highly recommend
I gave my son and his girlfriend a stay at Maison de Macarty and they raved about it for days. They said everything was absolutely perfect and the hosts were fantastic.

Best Bed and Breakfast in town
From the beautiful property to the friendly staff and great breakfasts, I didn't want to leave. I really loved this place.
