The facility is excellent and conveniently located. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a shared bathroom but it was kept very clean and there was a great breakfast.

入住时被要求先付费，而不是离开的时候付费。入住才知道没有卫生间，破旧有味道。我换了酒店。

no bathroom. The front desk charged the full fee when you check in and do not tell you that your room does not have bathroom. In stead she said do not be disappointed when you check in.

Bed was comfortable and felt like home. Shared bath was pristine. Excellent breakfast.

This is an older building in a safe area. The rooms are tight, but efficient. Bathrooms are very clean, bed is very good, location is very good. Continental breakfast was very well done, but the coffee could be better. My room was a bit drafty and the TV did not work. I would go back and choose a room with private bath.

Very cute and cozy property. Good amenities. Sound carries a little bit in the interior from other rooms.

Loved the staff welcome and first name conversations. The size of our room was huge in comparison to other places we've stayed in the past. Staff were accommodating and the location was perfect for us.

The location was great, close to things. Nice market on the corner, close to the subway. Paid way too much money for a tiny room which is old and out dated. The hallways smell like cleaning products and bathrooms.

Very nice, cozy and cute little spot. Feels you’re staying over someone’s house. Nothing luxurious, but you have everything you need; they’re so hospitable and so welcoming! I loved it. Nestled right in the middle of all these nice spots.

Typique et chaleureux.
Si vous ne cherchez pas le haut de gamme mais plus un endroit au calme avec une ambiance plutôt cosy, le Colonial House Inn est fait pour vous. A deux pas du métro avec ligne directe pour l'Air-Train et l'aéroport de JFK. Epiceries, restaurants et mêmes la High-Line et The Edge à quelques minutes a pieds. Petit déjeuner simple mais tout ce quil faut pour affronter les heures de marche new-yorkaises. Thé et café a disposition dans le hall 24h/24. Chambres petites et salles de bains et toilettes partagées mais toujours propres, et le personnel est aux petits soins des clients. Bref, si vous n'avez pas d'exigences particulières, et surtout que vous n'avez pas peur de montrer des escaliers, le Colonial House Inn est fait pour vous !

A cute brownstone in a quiet neighborhood
Wonderful bed and breakfast in a nice neighborhood. Breakfast was very good. 3 story building without an elevator. Room was small but didn't spend much time there. bathroom is shared, but easily accessible. Tony was very helpful and a hoot to talk to. A wonderful old building to stay in.

Loved the area, the roof top is clothes optional and there was a man up there that was doing something I do not think was optional. Gross/shocking/revolting.

My boyfriend and I loved this stay! It is a quiet street with access to anything you need. The place itself is full of charm with big beautiful pieces of art all around and a cozy lobby. The staff are very friendly

El chico de recepción es el más amigable y amable que te puedas encontrar. El lugar tiene una excelente ubicación, es bastante limpio y seguro. Lo que no me gustaron fueron las camas, terminé con dolor de espalda y cuello. La terraza tiene la política de usar ropa "opcionalmente", lo cual me pareció un poco extraño, pero si te dejan saber antes de que subas.

Stay away its filthy
Guess all the good reviews from 2020 or prior are not relevant as the place was filthy. Bathrooms were not clean and was told the maid will come on Monday when checking in on Sat. We didnt end up staying on account of this and left right at check-in. However were still charged for one night. Havent had a worst experience.

Dirty sheets
I asked for clean sheets because the when I pulled the bed sheets back there was hair and they looked dirty with oil or something The manager said I did the same thing last time, when the bed was dirty the last time too I only wanted a couple sheets to throw over the other ones, he gave me a bad attitude like I was asking for too much and said I was the only person to ever ask for extra sheets I said well, then what’s the problem and offered to pay for the extra sheets, he went to get the sheets in the basement and took like 10 minutes, gave me 2 sheets that were folded all messed up, when I opened them they smelled bad, probably too cheap to get clean ones, later another employee, spanish speaking did me the favor of bringing me a clean sheet that you could tell was folded and clean.

Great value and location, it was a quiet, friendly, lovely place to stay after busy days in the city. The room with private bath was perfect for my daughter and I. It was so nice to have coffee and light breakfast every morning. I definitely recommend it and I plan to come back again!

C’est un Bed&Breakfast très sympa, cosy. L’accueil est chaleureux, le petit-déjeuner copieux et varié. L’ambiance générale est agréable et on se sent bien. La situation géographique est idéale, en un rien de temps on est n’importe où et nous avons pu nous promener très facilement vers Central Parc, Times Square et tout le sud de Manhattan.
