We're very sorry that you were unable to enjoy your stay with us due to our lack of an elevator but hope that you did take advantage of our other amenities while you here with your Grandkids. On your next visit to our area, keep in mind that during your reservation process you can put in a request for a lower level room and that we will always try to accommodate those requests.

Thank you for your review of our hotel. we're happy that you were able to take advantage of the comfort we offer. If you are ever in the area again, please stop at the front desk. We do have some great local restaurants in the area with a variety of different food options, there are two lakes for fishing, Newton Lake and the lake at Sam Parr State park, Sam Parr also has some beautiful trails for biking or just to walk around and enjoy the wildlife that surrounds it. There's several bars in the area that have live bands or other entertainment available on various weekends. Around our Town Square there are some great shops offering; Antiques, Jewelry and gifts, as well as resale. We also have a very modern, recently updated Drive In Theater just a short drive from the hotel. Our hotel also has a pool and hot tub, a small bar as well as a gaming area where our adult guests can play slots or some video poker. I certainly do hope that if you're ever in the area again that you will keep some of these options in mind.

I would also like to take some time and apologize for the "bad taste" that was left from your breakfast experience, that's definitely not the image we would want our guests leaving with. I spoke with the gentlemen that was on that morning and he stated that he did in fact say that but had no intent on it sounding the way it did. He does apologize for the comment but also assured me that after he got the mess left by the thin batter cleaned, he was able to make waffles for the people at that table and he feels that they left satisfied by their experience. We were having some issues with the connections between our system and our outside booking sites systems, those issues have now been cleared up and we are no longer having any problems with our check ins.. I apologize that you had an unpleasant experience at our hotel. We are 100% smoke free and none of our rooms should ever smell of smoke, I walk through and check vacant rooms on a daily basis. I'm sorry, I must have missed this one on the day of your stay. Did you inform the front desk clerk at the time of your check in that the room was not up to yours, or our standards? I'm sure that had you let us know we would have offered to move you to a different room or taken care of this issue at that time, this is definitely not the way we want you to remember your stay with us. I certainly hope that if you are ever in our area, you will give us another opportunity to meet or even exceed your expectations. Please let us know while making your reservation if you require a lower level or even a handicap accessible room, that way we can assure that your needs are met.
