Absolute immaculate quiet units, good quality linens, very central position, great pool, lovely staff, beautiful gardens, opposite supermarket and adjoins bowling club which serves great meals... Looked for a fault - didn’t find one! 3rd time we’ve stayed at Aloha and hope to go back.

The staff were amazing. Treated us like we were special all the time. Even made a point, coming out of office to farewel us. Highly recommended.

Property nicely located close to shops and supermarket, but in quiet location.Very clean and equipped with all items necessary for an apartment.Staff very nice and helpful Not very good communications for computer & phone, but I could still manage

Very hot in summer
Clean apartments, all cooking equipment in your room. No washing machine in apartment, need to pay extra. Needs ceiling fans when in summer!! No air con can make it uncomfortable.

Thank you very much for taking the time to post your feedback. You are right - even though the temperatures on Norfolk Island don't get above 24 degrees, it can feel hot because of the humidity. We do provide pedestal fans as, unfortunately, the height of the ceilings do not allow us to install ceiling fans for safety reasons and air conditioning is not permitted on the island. Again, thank you for you review - your opinion does matter a lot to us!

Disappointed
Unit was very tired and old fashioned, there was mouse/cockroach droppings on my bed, the cleaners made the beds but didn't clean the bathroom, kitchen or vacuum. Paid a lot of money to stay here, was disappointed but paid in advance so couldn't change. Will try somewhere else next time.

close to main shopping area and restaurants
Norfolk Island is like going back in time, steeped in history and full of very friendly people. Unless your accommodation is close to the main street you will need a rental car. A rental car is the only way to see the island under your own steam. The tours are very good even though quite expensive. Quite cool weather in July so suggest September to March would be better. Must visit Cyclarama and the Norfolk Folk Museum opposite the school. Convict settlement tour is very good

Very casual
The property's proximity to town and to the field for rugby league made it a clear choice for our visit. What it lacks in refinement it makes up for in friendliness and convenience. All our requests were met however it must be remembered that it is a motel style and accommodation is very basic. A self contained situation with a small kitchen and basic layout made it acceptable to return to when all our trekking through the day was done.

Central hotel, well placed.
We enjoyed our time and explored as much of the Island as we could. It is quite amazing how many ideas have gone into keeping people happy and organised. The escorted tours we took part in we're great and our guides seemed as though they enjoyed what they were doing.
