The property had a nice layout and was an easy 2 minute walk to the beach. The restaurant and bar were good and had several options, but was a high price.

Hotel was nice, great grounds with multiple pool options. Walkable to food, bars, and right next to the beach.

Perfect beach get-away!
My wife and I with a few friends visited RipJack in Playa Grande for a weekend get-away. It was perfect for what we were looking for. The beach is beautiful. The resort is clean and it has a safe feel. The restaurant has delicious food at regular resort prices. And the restaurant staff is great especially Renaldo. We will be staying there again.

We loved our stay at rip Jack! Walk over to the beach or chill by the pool, everything was so close. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The bartenders upstairs - Filepe ronaldo and Adriana became our best friends! I would highly recommend staying here for your stay in grande!

Surfer beach- access to beach was perfect! Small warm pools- super helpful and kind staff- restaurant on site is ok- parking- they rent beach chairs and boogie boards- cute shop items- and close to some amazing restaurants!! Would stay here again. Unfortunately we had a bathroom with a leaking toilet- EW! At night we heard plumbing pipes ever time anyone in the building flushed their toilets.

La ubicación es muy buena, playa grande es increíble. Llegamos a las 4pm debido al alto trafico de SJO a GUA básicamente en la entrada nos preguntaron que queríamos? Habíamos solicitado una habitación más privada con antelación la cual ya no estaba disponible cuando llegamos, nos dijeron que no podia darnos la que habíamos reservado porque ya habían clientes. Sí nos ayudaron para realizar el cambio de habitación para la segunda noche. El primer día dormimos en la habitación que da a las escaleras en la entrada, se escucha cada vez que alguien sube o baja las escaleras al igual que a las 6am que ingresan personal de la lavandería por lo cual no pudimos dormir mucho.

I did not like the dirt roads, and no recycling on the property. Other than that it was wonderful.

Property is in a nice location. 1 minute walk from the beach. Rooms are nice but very simple and i found a bit expensive for what they are. Food at the restaurant was good but again a bit expensive for what was offered. Staff is friendly and helpful.

This place is such a no brainer: If you love walking beaches... jackpot, If you surfing... JACKPOT, If you love sunsets ... damn it just doesn't get any better, If you eat... bring 2 stomachs, if you chill... ohmmmm-g AND if you want all that in one spot, surrounded by staff that makes you feel like family then this is it.

El hotel y las instalaciones en general son muy bonitas, esta limpio tiene una ubicación muy estratégica, lo negativo mi habitación estaba debajo del restaurante y se escucha todo en el techo, el restaurante es excesivamente caro y la calidad es regular

If you've ever been to Costa Rica you'll know that apart from dramatic seascapes and wonderful people, it's hot and overrun by 'los insectos'. After several trips to CR we can say that the Rip Jack Inn has the coolest and cleanest rooms we have experienced,no insects or insect repellent smell. It is a stones throw from the spectacular Playa Grande beach great for surfing, running and walking. The rooms are nestled around two small pools and there is another cluster underneath the restaurant with the stand alone bungalow room nearby. There is a yoga studio with daily classes. Each room has its own decor and feel but they all have the essentials, mini fridge, TV(Netflix etc..) wifi, aircon. We were wowed by the restaurant with its fresh ingredients and the incredible staff that was able to accommodate our special dietary requirements for our full stay. This is something that very few places even in our hometown can do. About the staff.This is more like a family, we left with several hugs; the restaurant and front desk personnel went above and beyond to be sure that we were happy; great restaurant recommendations, arranged transport and would always ask us with a smile if there was anything we needed, Beach towels and chairs that you can take to the beach are supplied, you can rent boogie boards and beach tents from Frijoles, a nearly surf shop, online or in person. Special shout out to Josue, Renaldo, Sonia, Irena, Eliam, Angie, Nubia and Vladmir. We will be back.

The staff were very helpful when we found we had left a cosmetic bag in our room when we left. I liked the multiple pools and outside shower, as well as the proximity tothe beach. It would have been nice to have a mini fridge in our rooms, and ours had the tiniest batherooms we have tried to shower and dry off in. Lots of towels.

It felt like it was off the beaten path without being far away. Perfectly close to the beach with a magical walk through a small forest. Not crowded which gave extra touch of feeling like your with friends. Proof of uniqueness, same guests have been coming here consistently for 10 years. If you're looking for a get away that isn't overcrowded, I highly recommend this. Food, drinks, team were all great!

Nous avons séjourné dans la suite que nous avons trouvé très propre et agréable. L'établissement est à 2 minutes de la plage, la nourriture du restaurant est délicieuse (essayez les pâtes à la Bolognaise). C'était chouette de pouvoir louer nos boogie board directement à l'hôtel. Un terrain de beach volley ball s'en vient!
