스텝들의 친절은 최고였습니다 위치도 요크민스터랑도 매우 가깝고 늦은저녁까지 운영하는 슈퍼도 근처에 있어서 이용하기가 좋았습니다 단지 추운 날씨인데도 난방을 저녁과 아침에 잠깐 틀어줘서 밤새 추웠어요 난방문제만 해결되면 다시 가고 싶을 정도로 청결하고 쾌적합니다

배낭여행객을 위한 좋은 선택
요크시내 주요 어트랙션과 도보 10분이내거리로 최고 위치의 B&B. 조식도 상당히 훌륭함. 친절한 호스트. 단 무료주차가 가능하나 숙소앞이 아니고 인근 주차장의 지정주차 구획에 Permit을 올려놓고 차를 대는 시스템이라 불편한 부분이 있음. 그 외에는 전반적으로 흠 잡을데 없음.

lovely stay
It was perfect accomodation for me because the hotel was quite cosy, beautiful and clean. Also it is close to any sightseeing spot and staff was so kind. Breakfast was also good.

La propiedad es muy hermosa y tienes todo lo que necesitas. Tiene estacionamiento cerca y puedes ir caminando al centro. Lo único malo fue que llegamos después de las 4 y ya no había nadie para abrirnos. Nos habían mandado un mensaje que nos darían las instrucciones para entrar y nada. Mandamos mensajes a la propiedad por la app no contestaban. Tuvimos que pedir un celular prestado a un local para poder llamarlos y que nos dijeran cómo entrar

The b&b is nice, little off the main area of downtown but not that far. Good breakfast. The room also good not that small with windows! The only complaint is the lady that runs the place I think, she checks you in and does breakfast and all, when we arrived she was gentle, she leaves at 4 and there’s no one after that, but on our check out she wouldn’t let us do it later than 10:30 majority of places do it at 12 or at least 11 am, the couple next to us in breakfast ask the same and she said no problem leave at 1 pm but not us. We left our luggage and went back later to pick it up and she was very rude, almost like making us a favor to use the bathroom wich was in the basement. Anyway no customer service at all. We will prefer to stay somewhere else next time, closer to everything and with more caring service.

An old property with some of the period features still intact. A quirky property in a quiet area, convenient for the city centre. We chose to travel by train because we were uncertain about the parking arrangements. We discovered that parking is very limited and comes at a cost. Overall the accommodation was good, clean and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Nice 2 night stay in York. Room clean and bed very comfortable as was the shower room. Nice touch was complimentary refreshments and chocolates. Just 5 minutes walk from the minster and heart of the city. Lady we met on arrival was very helpful. Hope to visit again in future.

The property is ideally located for central York. The young lady who gave me the room key was very helpful and informative and very pleasant. I had room 7 on the top floor which was very clean, great bed and bedding. Well stocked coffee facilities. My only criticism would be the shower which is located in the bath tub under the eves and difficult for a tall person and not powerful. Would definitely recommend and return there.

Friendly staff on arrival. Room was lovely, very clean and an upgrade on what we had booked. A nice touch was a snack box with complimentary crisps, chocolate & mints - we took advantage 😁. Highly recommended as very well positioned for a 5 minute walk into central York and extremely good value for money (and that was before the upgrade!!). We will return.

We booked very late on the day we arrived, but Gage was very helpful in accommodating our needs. The Family room which we were given was excellent especially the bathroom. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The property was in an ideal location for visiting the city centre and the decor was beautiful throughout.

Very friendly. Spotlessly clean. Bedding was super soft and felt lovely. If I'm ever in York again I wouldn't hesitate in staying there again.

Perfect location and lovely hosts.
Very welcoming and perfectly placed for a 2 minute walk into the centre. Would have been all 5's but the shower was a bit too cozy. Would definitely stay again.

I don't get the great ratings for this place.
A fairly ordinary B&B (though the 2nd B is optional, & costs extra), but it was damned noisy. I can't fault St. Mary's for the jackhammering renovations going on at the property behind theirs, but the interior noise was all theirs. Weird, disturbing gurgling noises came randomly from the bathroom frequently (is the drain clogged? Is the toilet backing up? Is the roof leaking horribly? It was never anything I could identify), & some sort of motor/fan clicked on periodically for large chunks of time (never did figure out what THAT was.) Place was clean & convenient, but no way I'd stay there again.

Great location, nice towels, nice cookies. Small room, small bathroom, parking off site and charged, brekky also extra. Worst part? No water pressure in the shower.

Delightful house and room. Check in information was a two step process as there is no front desk, but were able to call for needed information. Great location close to city center.
