Fantastic hosts, running a superb guest house. So welcoming and friendly and very attentive. Spacious room with everything we needed. The whole place is spotlessly clean. Breakfast was perfect. Well cooked, fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay here 5 minute walk into town. The room was excellent & decorated to a very high standard, lots of tea & coffee, also bottles of water provided. Lots of choice for breakfast. Will definitely stay here again & highly recommended.

Lovely couple who run a great place. Stayed on for 2 nights b & b , wished wed stayed on longer. Great location , 10 minutes walk to every thing Witby has to offer. Lovely breakfadt and will return

Great place to stay. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious, clean and super comfy. Breakfast was great. Perfect place to stay to explore and enjoy all that Whitby has to offer. Will be returning for sure.

Great hosts
Great host everything was not to much trouble, made you feel very welcome, always asking if you need anything room was very clen & compy the guest house was very clean and well kept julie the host was very friendly & chatty made sure you had enough to eat, it was 5 mins walk to harbour would highly recommend it to stay, when i go back will be staying there again, weather your a family or solo they make you very welcome cant thank them enough for everything

Pleasant vacation
Just returned from a 4 night stay at Glenora, a solo trip which was most enjoyable. Julia was a perfect host who prepared a substantial breakfast which sustained me until an evening meal. Would definitely return.

Highly recommended Guest House.
Good location 10 minutes walk to centre of Whitby. Free on site parking. Host very welcoming and very accommodating. Very good breakfast! Nice large ground floor room. A little noisy with roadside traffic in the morning.

Wonderful Whitby
The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Wonderful breakfast it set us up for the day. Room was big and very clean.Ideal location for the town centre or the beach. Would definitely return.

Lovely 2 night break in a fab Guest House
We stayed here for 2 nights. Lovely guest house, very comfortable and spotless. Julia was friendly and explained everything to us. The breakfasts were really good ! I'd definitely stay here again if we come back to Whitby.

Exceptional stay
Lovely large room, had everything we needed. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. Breakfast was one of the best we have had in England when staying in a guest house. Close enough to the town centre that you can leave your car and walk.

Julia was so welcoming and put us at ease straight away. Everything was immaculately clean, beds were so comfortable and lovely shower. Gorgeous fry up both mornings, and Julia made sure we had absolutely everything we wanted. We had a lovely mini break!

Lovely spotless room. Welcoming hosts who couldn't do enough for you. Great breakfast. Lots of choice even with covid restrictions. Close to all attractions. Would highly recommend.

Good stay
Friendly host and good location on the edge of Whitby. 5 minute walk to the harbour. Breakfast was good. Decent wifi and parking onsite.

Excellent accommodation
Glenora is conveniently situated about a 15 minute walk from the harbour at Whitby. The owners are really friendly and helpful. Julia made us a pot of coffee upon arrival and gave my wife a box of chocolates as she celebrated her birthday during our stay. Our room was large and well decorated. The hospitality tray was well stocked, including sachets of hot chocolate and yummy biscuits. The bathroom was large. The breakfast was really good and well cooked. We really can’t fault this establishment. Julia and Paul have thought of everything and made our, rather wet, visit to Whitby, very enjoyable.

Its a property that's only five minutes walk down to the harbor or the town. Julia and her son Tom did all they could to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Room was clean, comfortable and had all the facilities I needed for my two night stay.. Breakfast was really good.

Excellent breakfast with friendly owner. Car parking on drive way and a short walk to town. Although this B&B is on a main road and I’m a light sleeper, I had no trouble with traffic noise at night.

Could not have been better.
We stayed for three nights and had a wonderful time. The room was very spacious and well equipped. Everything has been very tidy. Julia and her husband are wonderful and caring people. The breakfast has been absolute delicious. Would love to come back again. The location of Glenora is perfect. Just a short walk into the center. And a beautiful park just across the road.

I really enjoyed my stay at Glenora Guest House. The owners were very friendly and made a pot of tea on my arrival. The room and private bathroom were very clean and well equipped. There was a good choice of cereals and fresh fruit at breakfast time as well as a choice of cooked breakfast, which was really nice. The location is handy with just a 10 minute walk down to the centre of Whitby.

Nice break
Looked for our normal hotel to stay in Whitby and found it unavailable so found this guest house instead. Great room and breakfast was really good. The room was a good size and everything clean. Was welcomed with a coffee on arrival which was after the normal booking in time but not a problem after a quick phonecall. Will definitely be paying another visit.

The property was spotlessly clean and we had a lovely welcome, being made a pot of tea. Julie, Paul and family were very helpful with local area knowledge making our stay very easy and enjoyable, we would definitely come and stay again if we are in the area
