Stayed here on an overnight exploring Yorkshire Dales. On arrival announced ourselves as no-one at bar we were greeted with "we are here...just wait". Taken to room up a very tight staircase, advised we could use the fridge outside the room & then left to it without a key for the room. Room lovely & bed comfy, fan provided great as it was warm. I love traffic noise but for anyone who doesn't...this place is on a MAJOR main road with trucks passing at all hours. We put water we had bought in the fridge & discovered the following morning it had been stolen! Advised the male host on departure & he didn't seem bothered. Nice place but customer service & security lacking

Friendly staff
Good service and friendly staff, decent food as well. Very close to the waterfalls walk which is worthwhile doing. Road is quite noisy if you’re a light sleeper but I didn’t have an issue.

Lovely pub with welcoming hosts
A lovely, welcoming pub which is ideally situated for the village of Ingleton and local places of interest. Our room was cosy, super clean and the power shower was amazing! All the staff were extremely friendly and attentive and made us feel very welcome. The only drawback for us was the busy road that the pub is situated on. With the window open, the noise of the traffic is pretty relentless. There was a large fan in our room though which we took full advantage of!

Clean comfortable room, friendly staff, good price for the area. Food looked good, but I ate elsewhere. On a main road with noisy lorries passing at all hours.

Very nice
Lovely room at the Mason's Arms, very clean, it was on the small side but this didn't bother us at all. Nice big shower with free use of shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. They were busy when we arrived so had to wait to be served and shown our room but we arrived at the busiest time for the restaurant. We also ate there and the food was delicious, we would stay again. The room was warm so had to open a window, we could hear the traffic from the busy road outside but it was not a major problem. Overall a really nice stay :-)

Easter 3 peaks walk.
Very comfortable, staff very friendly, service spot on. After walking the 3 peaks the bend in the stairs could do with an extra hand rail, but that only because i was aching and knackered.

Food was amazing, good value. Staff were welcoming and attentive. The room was very clean and modern. nice powerful shower. Towels and bedding were given, despite the hotel.com reviews.

A breakfast would have topped it off...
Quality country pub... however on main road - very noisy through out the night with passing lorries. Also disappointing no breakfast offered, when Hotels.com clearly stated breakfast was included in the price..... another mis-leading sale from Hotels.com

Great for a stopover for the waterfall trail
The pub is very busy and friendly. Room was small but perfectly fine for an overnight stay; we ate in the resturant and the food selection was limited [Sunday menu], but very good quality. Staff friendly and attentive.

Everything is great with one exception - they do not offer breakfast. Everything else is great, evening meal was delicious, room was cosy and clean.

This traditional pub has everything you could possibly want. The pub is clean friendly and inviting, they have a food menu which is not too big but offers a selection of most dishes you would expect to see. We ate both dinner in the evening and breakfast the following morning and the food on both occasions was faultless and enjoyable. The staff went out of their way to assist, finding a table for us to eat in the evening, (booking is advisable), offering to carry cases up the stairs to our room. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable although the pillows were slightly too big for us (no problem there if we had wanted we were offered extra pillows etc, nothing is too much trouble). There is an hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits provided and in the bathroom which is ensuite there is a soap dispenser, shampoo and conditioner dispenser and pristine soft white towels. I would not recommend room 3 for a person who is less able bodied, as there is quite a steep staircase with very shallow winding steps at the top.. The bathroom is very small and there is no handle to hold on to when getting in and out of the shower which is quite a high step up and down, otherwise a very nice clean functional bathroom in every way. There is a small car park next to the pub which can get busy but it does empty quite quickly too so we didn't have too much of a problem parking. The staff advised that it is ok to use roadside parking also.

Stayed here for one night before doing Yorkshire Three Peaks walk. Cosy pub downstairs with great food and drinks at reasonable prices. Room is in great condition, clean and comfortable albeit not very large but totally fine for the purpose. would definitely recommend

The landlady was super welcoming. The pub had a great atmosphere. The cooked breakfast was of a very high standard. I would happily stay here again.

Attention to detail
We stayed for 2 nights in room 2. The room was cozy as advertised. Although small there is plenty of room for a short stay and even a place to put your muddy boots. The staff are all fantastic and make you very welcome. Attention to detail is key for the owners. Breakfast is served in pub, the only thing I would say, and I am being very picky is that a an alternative such as porridge or rolls be offered as a substitute to a cooked breakfast. I would go back in a heartbeat

Friendly and comfortable B&B
Lovely room, small but adequate for a nights stay. Very comfortable bed and good shower. Friendly hosts and food served in the evening and for breakfast was good. Only downside is the road noise as it is on the main road but it didn't bother us too much (ear plugs used). Highly recommend for a trip to Ingleton.

Great quality pub rooms
Comfy pub rooms on A road in Ingleton. 12 mins walk into the village centre, mostly all footpath. Bed/pillows: Very good, better than the 4* hotel we stayed in on Arran. Bathroom: excellent. Modern and clean. The shower was powerful and easy to get to the right temperature. Shower stall also a good size. Room size: small but fine for one/two nights. They have used shelving and clip on lights well so I still had a light on my side of the bed. Breakfast: only served between 8-8.30. We didn’t have it but ate in the village instead. I would be happy with a continental breakfast that was available for longer. Noise: nothing after about 2330, so didn’t cause us a problem but obviously you are above a bar.

Lovely place to stay.
Lovely room and bathroom, small but cosy and welcoming, and a very comfy bed! The only issue for me was that there was quite a bit of road noise despite the double-glazing and some weird aural effect that made each vehicle sound like it was going through a tunnel, but I was otherwise a very happy camper. The area had loads to offer too. The village, a few minutes' walk away, though small, had every kind of shop a person could need, the views were fabulous, great outdoor experiences on the doorstep. All in all a very relaxing weekend.

Really helpful obliging staff and great food
We stayed here for 2 nights; before and after completing the Yorkshire 3 peaks. The room was compact but very clean, comfortable and well-equipped with kettle etc. We booked dinner for 10 (the rest of the group were staying in the youth hostel) and were all extremely impressed with the quality of the food, service, ambience and the beer (it is a really nice pub too). I had the Portobello mushroom burger which was really tasty. We retired quite early but nervous anticipation of the early start, the noise from the bar underneath (until about 12) and passing cars prevented me sleeping so well. As we had an early start, the staff provided us with a breakfast in a cool box left outside our door that contained a delicious assortment of juice, yoghurt, fruit, bread and butter and an instant porridge pot that really set us up for our long day of walking! The second night, (unsurprisingly after the 24mile walk!), I slept much better :) and we both enjoyed a really great cooked breakfast, served by the very helpful and friendly Joanne. Unfortunately, after we were 150 miles away, I realised that I had left my purse in the hotel room. When I phoned, Joanne immediately checked and phoned me back that she had found it and very obligingly sent it back to me by special delivery at the first opportunity. -This just exemplified the care and consideration we received from all staff during our stay, which we really appreciated, and we would definitely stay or eat there again.
