Dear Ursula.Thank you for staying at Argosy on the Beach, it was a delight to meet you. Unfortunatley the door lock bearing went and I had the door fixed as soon as I possible could. you paid for a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment and I upgraded you to a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment for the price of a one bedroom, this apartment is very popular with my guests and I have wonderful ratings, I was very helpful with you transfers to Argosy and advised you to ask the driver to take you to Argosy which he did, I also offered to drive you if he was unable to drop you here at Argosy. Good morning, Thank you for your review and pointing out we have a lot of very positive reviews. My reviews are very good as I take a lot of pride in making my apartments special, clean and supplying everything to make my guests feel at home and welcome. The managers are not allowed to post there own reviews, The great reviews come from the guests. Thank you for pointing out the unit was not clean when you left, I was sorry to see the way how this apartment was left, There was food and rubbish on every floor through out the apartment, Sheets and bed linen and carpets had to be specially cleaned, the bed in the main bedroom had been used as a toilet. When you arrived the apartment was very clean and everything was working, if you found something not working you should have reported this to me, and I would have had the problem fixed, the dryer only needed the reset button pushed, the TV was only installed 2 weeks ago, I found that the cord had been tampered with, the microwave was new and I found some damage to the door, Thank you for staying at Argosy on the Beach, Kind regards Judith

It would be fair to say that we are extremely disappointed with your stay also, a couple of things to point out are that you were very inconsiderate to all the other guests when you continued to party into the early hours of the morning even after I attended your apartment once & phoned you 4 times to requested that you turn your loud music off and remove your 5 friends from the apartment that were not here to stay nor did they pay to stay, we received numerous complaints from follow guests & neighbours therefore you left me no other option than to involve the police who attended at 5am for the noise disturbance that you were causing, In regards to the charges for your accommodation and having the extra guests I have emailed these receipts to you as requested and to Expedia to explain what happened with your stay. You and your friends moved heavy wooden furniture from the balcony area to inside the apartment and have scratched the floors which you have not been charged for. Our holiday apartments are not here for you to use and abuse, and how unfortunate that because of your bad behaviour and my response to it that you see fit to make a negative review on our property, in future whichever accommodation provider you choose I would suggest that you show them more respect and consideration than what you have shown us here.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us and pleased you enjoyed our top floor apartment overlooking the beach. We're surprised during your week long stay you never raised these issues as we had numerous conversations after we arranged a specific sports channel for an event you wished to see? I have personally checked the apartment however are hard pressed to find these issues except for the (slight) dust on screens and range hood. There are loose tiles in the corner behind the ensuite toilet but pleased to say these are being re-tiled during further renovations in the coming year.

Fantastic reviews are always so welcome and great to hear again we were so well suited with facilities for your family in our beachfront location. We have all sorts of hire equipment however all you had booked was a cot, we do have high chairs but this was never asked for? Complimentary also is our fabulous array of beach toys for young children!
