Phenomenal. Incredible architecturally significant property with top-quality gourmet restaurant offering mind blowing tasting menu. Staff is absolutely the best it can be. Best service and food there is. Must see and experience to believe.

El hotel es muy curioso, no me lo esperaba así para nada. El personal todos maravillosos y muy atentos. La habitación muy cómoda. El emplazamiento es precioso. El restaurante (3* Michelin) estaba cerrado así que cenamos en el Bistrot de Laqua by the Lake y fue fantástico.

Very unique property by Relais & Chateau situated in a very beautiful area near Lake Orta. Staff very welcoming and accommodating. Three Star Michelin restaurant provided memorable sinning experience.

There was some noise of people constantly walking around above us. We were in room 221. My wife was upset that she couldn’t sleep in the afternoon because of constant walking around above us. At night it was much quieter.

This place is better than any picture can illustrate. Every detail is attended to with perfection. The painfully intricate carvings on the stone, the antique furniture with bronze and gold plated accents, the antique style bath tub, the pink and yellow hue’ed chandelier crystals, the old pink and green marble on the bathroom wall. If you blink you’d think you stepped back into the 1800s. Such good taste was employed to recreate this place that seriously looks like you stepped into a dream.

Alles wunderbar
Wir wollten schön länger die Villa Crespi besuchen. Jetzt hat es endlich geklappt. Alles war wunderbar. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das gebuchte Deluxe-Doppelzimmer war genauso wie erwartet. Natürlich war das Highlight das Abendessen. Es hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Атмосферное и место, и озеро, и городок.
Отель в историческом здании,, великолепно сохранившемся и отреставрированном, 10-15 минут от городка Сан - Джулио, без выхода к озеру, без пляжа у озера, с мишленовским рестораном внутри, известным всем итальянцам. Они будут приезжать сюда обедать и ужинать. Вилла и вам забронирует место, попробуйте обязательно. В самом городке тоже есть Мишлен. В номере есть чай и кофе, и вода, и комплимент - фрукты и сладости, есть небольшое кафе - перекусить в обед и ужин, конечно, намного дороже еды в городе. Осы бывают, но немного и не активны. Номера- в стиле, возможно, сохранена даже историческая плитка, но комфортные, кроме окон, когда их открываешь есть паутина кое где, видимо, постояльцы и персонал их особо не трогают. Вид на озеро - чем выше номер, тем лучше вид. Персонал очень заинтересованный- видно, что любит это место. Если вы приехали на выходные, может быть свадьба - праздник под окном целый день. В остальном - тихо, соседей не слышно

The setting itself is worth a visit. The room was clean and beautifully scented and maintained the atmosphere of a XIX century palace. Nice garden. Staff are extremely polite and willing to help and chat. Unfortunately, because of Covid19 restrictions, breakfast proved not as rich as expected. Maybe a free selection of savoury food should be added. I'd definitely book again.

The hotel is set in lovely grounds just a short walk one of the smaller lakes, Lago D'orta. The building itself is beautiful and has an interesting history. What I loved: the staff were amazing - very friendly and extremely helpful. The food was excellent. We were lucky enough to have dinner at the 2 Michelin starred restaurant and loved it. The breakfast was also very good (and overwhelming). What we liked less: we were late booking so got a classic room. It was perfectly nice but the decor was a bit tired. I don't mean old fashioned as this is a classic villa so I wasn't looking for a modern, minimalist decor. It was just a little old with tired color schemes. Also, there was only a hand held shower head in the bath, rather than a true shower. It was fine but if I come again I would book earlier to get a better room.

Для номера за 400 евро очень уж скромненько. Номер не понравился совсем. Фасад здания,без сомнений, архитектурный шедевр, но на этом все прелести и заканчиваются. Останавливались в отеле специально для ужина в ресторане, думаю, только для этого он и подходит. К сожалению, реальность не оправдала ожидания...

Wunderschöner und einmaliger Aufenthalt in der maurischen Villa Crespi. Das Essen war ein Erlebnis! Das Personal ist sehr professionell und die Villa äußerst gepflegt. Es wird auch viel Beachtung auf Details gegeben. Alles in allem ein traumhafter Aufenthalt wie in 1001 Nacht! Wir werden wieder kommen, wenn wir etwas sehr spezielles zu feiern haben.

The hotel and service were 5 star. We were treated wonderfully by the staff. No request was not fulfilled, and with a smile. Dinner in their two star Michelin dining room was a real treat - expensive but worth the dining experience

Amazing stay surrounded by a nice panorama completed by a very professional and gently staff. The restaurant led by Tony Cannavaccioulo is absolutely outstanding!!!! It's a must to have a dinner with him if you decide to stay there. Thank you staff, thank you Tony... will come back with the rest of my family soon.

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff!
Every room has it’s own character. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. There is an excellent Michelin rated restaurant in the hotel. We wish the weather was better so we could enjoy the town more.

Etwas ganz Besonderes, das man so schnell nicht wieder findet. Ein Schloß aus 1000+1 Nacht im maurischen Stil erbaut. Die Preise sind entsprechend. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend. Leider spricht dort niemand deutsch und unsere Englischkenntnisse sind für eine ausführliche Unterhaltung nicht gut genug. Wie will man da eine Diskussion über das Sternemenue anfangen, das offenbar allen schmeckt nur einem selbst nicht. Außerdem kann man in dieser Gegend ein Schwimmbad erwarten.

Most disappointing Relais I have ever stayed in
Arrived to discover the restaurant was unavailable owing to a function - which is when we realised what a poor location it is - 20 minutes walk to town (can't drive in, town is pedestrianised), on a busy roundabout, no direct access to the lake). No apology. Then at breakfast, the (Michelin *) kitchen failed to produce a poached egg - we waited 45 minutes. Again no apology. Staff were very poor, rude and unhelfpful.

Dear Lestyn We are very sorry you were unable to dine in our restaurant which was due, not to a function (in just one room of the restuarant), but to the fact you mitted respond to our request to book a table. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to get a table at Villa Crespi due to demand and we apologise for this but also ask our resident guests to book in order to avoid issues of this kind. We regret you did not like the location, ourside our control, and that there was a misunderstanding regarding your breakfast order. We feel we have to mention that erroneously you say you did not receive an apology for your disappointment when in order to try to make up for any inconvenience and disappointment, your one night stay, bar bill and city tax payment were all waived. Kaunein hotelli missä olen ollut.loistava palvelu ,huone oli ihana ja meillä oli ihana iso parveke (kattoterassi) kortelin päässä pääsi järveen uimaan ja keskustaan käveli helposti rantaa pitkin.täydellinen 2 tähden ravintola illalliselle..ainoat niin sanotut miinukset.ei uimaallasta hotelli alueella (mutta hotelilla oli kuljetus uimaaltaalle) ja että huoneessa oli huonosti vapaita pistorasioita puhelimen tai tietokoneen lataamiseen ..hotelli on minusta ansaitsisi 9,99 arvosanan..suosittelen jos tahtoo lähteä romanttiselle viikonloppu matkalle siihen tämä on täydellinen..

Beautiful and unusual decoration
Excellent hotel and the restaurant is amazing, very conveniently located to Lake Orta. Staff were kind enough to upgrade us to a suite. Only downside was the rooms were a little old and the shower in one of them did not work well.
