I usually get the king suite - always top notch. Tried the queen room - a third the size and the room was 85 degrees when I entered, took hours to cool out. Not happy about that.

Hotel was great! We got the room with the jacuzzi and it was great! Very clean and beds are actually comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t great but we didn’t mind as we went elsewhere.

Nice room clean facility, however did not get to stay the night due to the entire third floor wreaking of pot. The staff was very friendly facility was clean, but obviously an issue with drug use at this hotel.

When I got in the room the first day I couldn’t shower because they didn’t have any hot water until the morning so I went to sleep without a shower after a long day of work , so I call to the front desk and they tell me their maintenance is working on it so the next day I get a room again because it was the best thing to do long story short I tell one of the woman that’s at the desk that I didn’t have hot water she tells me I should have came down there and complained l because everyone else did and got a refund first of all how do you give certain people a refund when you should have compisated everyone who was affected and on top of that they gave me a different room with no microwave I wanted to leave. But had no where to go I would love to get my money back for both nights and they lady that was dressed up was extremely rude and I worked a double last night and asked can I check out at 2:00 pm and she was rude and said no I didn’t get back to the hotel last night until 4:30 am and left at 11:00 am and the workers were super loud very early like really loud she basically treated me like trash because she figured there is nothing I can do

We will never stay at this hotel again!
The hotel is very nice when you walk in. The rooms are so small and the beds were hard. My husband and I went to Michigan City to celebrate our 9th anniversary. I told the customer service person and they didn't try to get us a new room. Also, I think owners family stay above us on the 3rd floor. We wont be celebrating there again!

Ladybug/beetle infestation
I have mixed emotions. First our room was infected with ladybugs/beetles. There was several in the room everyday of our stay. The red ones and orange ones. They were flying around and crawling all over the walls and beds. I believe they are good luck so I tried to make light of it. The hotel was full due to a kids football team staying there so there was no rooms to move. My infant was too young to notice the insects but my 8yr old definitely noticed them all over the room. We had the room on first floor next to gym and pool. There was a draft of cool air but more than likely because it was by the exit and apparently that is where all these bugs was coming it. The hotel was clean and breakfast came in handy. My only downfall was the extra 8-10guests we had to share the room and beds with while there for a family emergency. We had no energy to complain my mother was in a coma so most of our days was in the hospital down the street. Probably wouldn’t stay there again due to the infestation of bugs and slow draining sink in bathroom that stayed clogged. Shower was nice and hot to that’s a plus. Walmart was directly across the street so that helped.

The manager, Kim, was amazing! We took a 3rd grade football team to stay at this hotel. The manager was so patient and accommodating. She made to go breakfast bags for our players and had them waiting in the lobby prior to our early morning game. She allowed the kids unlimited access to juice and hot chocolate. .. and those football boots can drink alot of hot chocolate. She gave us access to the conference room as a team hang out spot. She truly made the stay pleasant and memory filled!
