You hit the nail on the head we are so handy for The Spirit of Tasmania and although a little dated in places but spotless and adequate facilities

At 119.00 we think the courtyard rooms are correctly priced and the bathrooms are well laid out with all you need a shower, hand basin and toilet

They do say "never judge a book by its cover" yes we are a bit tired on the outside but our housekeeping are amazing. Glad you enjoyed your stay and that the key retrieval went without incident

Hi Jim sorry to hear this. Your aircon had actually professionally cleaned the day of your arrival and by the sound of it there was still a residue of the cleaning chemicals in the aircon.

There is a bakery and cafes with in walking distance. The photos are a true reflection of the property and although you stayed in a ground floor budget room we do have 1st floor Terrace rooms that may make a single traveler feel more sure

Glad you enjoyed your stay, however the budget rooms at 99 a night do not have microwave, toaster etc. They do have a king size bed, ensuite shower, small bar fridge and tea/coffee facilities not bad for 99

Hi KarenSorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay. Unfortunately you had the air con set to cool rather than heat. With regards to meals we have not had a bistro on site for nearly 4 years, I checked and the website does not mention a restaurant. We are currently only operating the bar and gaming Mon-Fri 10-4pm which again is clearly stated on our website. As to the pictures on the web they are a true reflection of all the different room types, perhaps you had looked at the Executive rooms rather than the budget room you booked. The glass on the bathroom doors is to allow daylight into the toilet areas and we are sorry that this caused you a disturbed nights sleep.
