Our stay at Luncinda B&B was short but Fiona left such a wonderful impression - she is clearly someone just made to be a hostess at a B&B! I booked this accommodation because of the wonderful reviews and they were spot on. We stayed in the deluxe spa room and we were travelling as a group of three. Two adults and one six year old. I was worried about booking a room in such a grand old property with a young child but Fiona was so beautifully patient and engaged with my son. This is not a property for a minimalist - there is so much amazing detail and care to show the property in its historic glory. The beds were very comfortable and the spa was a real treat! I can't comment on the breakfast that's included in the price as we woke later than planned and had to get on the road. The grounds are very pretty and the location is close to lots of attractions but you feel a million miles away in the best of ways when you are one the property.

This is a beautiful historic property and this was an extremely enjoyable stay. Our host, Fiona could not have been more welcoming or helpful. We would definightly choose to stay here again.

Lucinda is a beautiful grand old home with lovely furniture and decor. The bed was very comfy and the room was oh so quiet. Breakfast was served early enough to catch the ferry.

Lucinda B&B has full of characters. The furnitures are beautiful and the owner keeps maintain the place in excellent order. The owner was very nice, friendly and warm. The breakfast has a good varieties. Bacon, egg made as you wish, toast, cereal, milk, yogurt, tea and coffee, and orange juice. This is absolutely sufficient. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I will be back as well.

The owner was very helpful and obliging, including organising a snack for my breakfast as I had to leave very early before the main breakfast was served. Lucinda is close to the Spirit of Tasmania terminal and a great place to overnight before catching the ferry. But if you are taking an early 06:00 sailing, you will need to leave by 05:40 so that you are amongst the first in board. Lucinda is well set up to enable this. Latrobe is a great place to explore and Lucinda well placed for that.

Hostess Fiona is an Angel - such a pleasure to meet. The bed in the spa room was so comfy - like sleeping on a cloud and the whole property spotless. All amenities covered plus some extras. Do visit her beautiful property for a relaxing stay in Latrobe - you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

The room was ridiculously small and cramped with a view of a brick wall. Only thing smaller than the room was the meal which was overpriced and pretentious- and had to be supplemented by muesli bars. Not what was expected based on the marketing or the pricing. I stay in many hotels and this is one of the most disappointing

None of our rooms overlook a brick wall 2. I am not a restaurant & don't provide meals 3. I only provide breakfast which is included in the price 3. Iam a B&B and not a MOTEL

Quaint, clean and comfortable in a leafy setting.
Delightful quaint property with a very welcoming host, Fiona. Lucinda BnB is the perfect location for a night before or after the Spirit of Tasmania trip with a generous breakfast to set you up for the day. Very affordable rates. So much more comfortable than a highway motel for around the same cost. Even has a bath!

Very happy one night stay.
This is a beautiful historic property and very comfortable for my one night stay. The owners were very welcoming and looked after all my needs. The cooked early breakfast was greatfully appreciated, particularly as I had to sail early on The Spirit of Tasmania.
