Great spot to stay very quiet, apartment was very clean and Spacious. Could do with a bit of an update but overall great. Host Kevin was very helpful and friendly.

Weekend away with family

Highly recommend for familys to stay, set up so well to cook meals and a full fridge. BBQ outside with outdoor table, so clean & tidy, comfortable beds. Beach up the road was lovely. Hawley and Shearwater close by for food and shops.

It was disconcerting to realise the lock on the front door did not work....we had to use the fly screen lock to secure the property.

Meticulously presented apartment

Everything about Sails on Port Sorell was welcoming from check in, friendliness of the host including a beautifully clean presentation and little supplementary treats. I would recommend it as the pearl in the Oyster Apartment

very friendly and amazingly helpful owner/operator. the property is very clean with all necessary amenities for a family to stay for a week or more. very close to local beaches - shallow and calm water especially suitable for young kids. definitely recommended.

From the moment we arrived we were made welcome and shown our lovely room. We were impressed by the super clean interior and all the little touches which added to our comfort. We would definitely return to Sails on Port Sorell.

Sunny and close to beach and cycling pathways

The hosts were super friendly and welcoming. The room was really well presented and clean. Kevin and Mandy also assisted with laundry. I am most grateful and would definitely stay again. It was very quiet and Peaceful at Sails Port sorell..I will be back!

Very nice

We enjoyed our one night stay, after coming of the boat from Melbourne. The location is convenient for this, being only 15 minutes drive from the ferry terminal. The ferry was delayed out of Melbourne, so we arrived later than anticipated, but this was no problem for the owner Kevin. He was very welcoming. The room was very clean and had all we needed for an overnight stopover. Good WiFi too. We plan to stay here again on our return journey.

心温まるアットホームな宿です

野生のウォンバットに会うための旅行で、2017年のGWに宿泊しました。成田～メルボルンの乗り継ぎを経て翌日のお昼にロンセストンに到着し、まずはナラウンタプ国立公園に立ち寄りたかったので、最寄のポートソレルで宿を探してこちらを利用することにしました。ロンセストン空港からレンタカーを借りてナラウンタプまで１時間半、（残念ながらナラウンタプでは皮膚病が蔓延しウォンバットの個体数が激減してしまい、野生のウォンバットに会うことは叶いませんでした。そのかわりパディメロンにたくさん会えました。）ナラウンタプからポートソレルまでは30分くらいだったので、 16時半までナラウンタプで過ごし、17時すぎにチェックインをしました。ホストのキース夫妻の手入れが行き届いた、とてもアットホームな宿です。うろ覚えですが、キースさんの姉（妹？）が日本で教師をしていた（だったかな…）縁もあり、英語が不得意な私たちにもとても親切に接してくれました。閑静な住宅街の中にあり、スーパー「IGA」「Woolworths」どちらも車で5分～10分と近いので便利です。チェックイン時に周辺の地図をもらえて、道も簡単なのですぐわかると思います。 Woolworthsにはパン屋があり、翌日からのクレイドルマウンテン滞在用にお安く美味しいパンが手に入りました。宿には朝食用のシリアル、角食パン、牛乳（濃厚ですごく美味しい！）、それとキースさんの手作りクッキー（これもすごく美味しい！）が用意されているので、短期滞在または小食の方はそれで十分かと思います。添付の写真は私たちの夕食で、Woolworthsで野菜や玉子を調達し（レトルトごはんと味噌汁は持込）、お手軽にカレーとサラダを作って食べました。部屋は清潔で、食器・調理器具（まな板・ピーラーもありました）などひと通りのものは揃っています。日本からの旅行で自炊をする場合は、多少の使用感が気になる方は「まな板」を、それと食器用洗剤がけっこう強力なので、肌が弱い方は洗剤を持参することをお勧めします。それと、部屋の暖房が弱いため、秋口でも夜は少し肌寒さを感じました。ただ、それらは「強いて言えば」の話であって、短期・長期を問わず、英語が不得意な方でも安心して宿泊できるとてもいい宿だと思います。ナラウンタプで日没までゆっくり過ごしたいのであれば、とてもオススメです。

Close to the beach and nice walking tracks The owners Sue and Keith were very friendly and there were nice little extras like DVDs at your disposal and a continental breakfast in our room The supermarket and eateries were a few minutes drive but overall quite comfortable

Felt like home

This apartment had everything we needed to feel right at home, right down to the kitchen equipment, the quality of the sheets and the coffee maker. Our hosts made us feel so welcome and were always helpful and cheerful. This was a great place for relaxing, and with both beach and golf handy, we were very comfortable.

home away from home in beautiful beach setting

I arrived late due to late boat, but the owner was happy to greet me late at night and kind and thoughtful, showing me my room and all I needed to know. Beautiful unit, with charming sea decor and all you need for a peaceful stay.

Well equipped kitchen

Walking distance to the beach and very close to local shops and amenities. Good place to base yourself for a few days. Very quiet location and kitchen very well equipped in the Dolphin Studio. Hosts were very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Themed Accommodation.

Relaxing spot with accommodating hosts. Plenty of advice for what we could do in the area, so we saw places we would have otherwise missed. We even trekked out to the point to see the penguins come in for the night.
