Great spot but mame sure you bring a car. Otherwise, excellent location with lots of charm. Easy drive to surrounding points of interest. Nice beach-like feel and GREAT staff.

Nice get away
It was pleasant staying in a studio style room with a complete mini kitchen. The surrounding grounds was senic and peaceful.

Great and relaxing place
Great place to relax away from downtowns busy and loud areas. Only a mile walk from the main area and what a great walk by the sea it is. An on-site restaurant that was a bit too “experimental” for our taste but had outdoor seating and games with live music. Tennis court and pool looked nice but didn’t have much opportunity to use them. Jared at the front desk was extremely nice and even let us check in early when our ferry came over early.Our unit came with a Kitchen was was very handy for cooking leftovers and keeping our waters cold.

look like a crack house
Shower is terrible, bath tub drain plug needed propted up to stay open so it could drain. The shower adjustment was not working properly took about 5 min to get the correct alignment to get a little hot water. Bed was like sleeping on a pool table. Oh did I mention we had to drag our luggage through dirt and gravel to get to our room behind the other block of rooms because there is no road to go to the room. Very disappointing, A clean room a comfortable bed and a hot shower when traveling is all I want ( like everyone else)

The property is clean and lovely . A lot of greens around ( trees and grass) . It has nice tennis court and swimming poll . People can rent rackets and balls for tennis play . The room is clean , bed comfortable , enough pillows , hot water , heater and AC working perfectly . Everything what you may need in the kitchen is there ..... Lovely place ...

Nice location a little less than a mile from downtown OB. Lovely property. Clean and spacious room. Would book again if staying in OB.

Place was OK but for the money I would’ve expected more, floors were dirty bathroom door wouldn’t shut and had a whole kicked in it. The pool was small & not real clean, lots of bugs floating around in it.

Beautiful large property with very large yard. It has doggie bags and trash for the pups in one area; a jungle gym for the little ones too. Room was a little apartment - spacious, clean & up-to-date, with full kitchen supplies. But if you want coffee to go with that coffee pot, or I guess hand lotion, you need to ask at the front desk. Odd that they don't include that considering the price. It's about a 6-8 min drive to "downtown" Oak Bluffs. Island Inn is on near the Edgartown border. It's a short walk, bike or drive, to the water.

Beautiful and calm place to stay
The hotel was amazing. Super quiet, very near to the sea shore and beautiful green acres around. The manager was very friendly and he walks around the community asking guests if they are enjoying their stay. The cleaning lady was super friendly and nice. Overall a wonderful place to stay at Martha's Vineyard.

Good place, but poor service
While the Inn and the rooms are comfortable, we experienced some problems with the service. The Wi-Fi was not working at all and it was also not fixed during our staying there. The room was cleaned very poorly (towels were changed and the cups washed, but the floor was not swept or mopped, the bed linen were left wrinkled, the dust was not cleaned, etc....).

Serenity on The Vineyard
Spacious, extremely comfortable room on lovely, spacious pretty grounds. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Close to Oak Bluffs, and beach. Tennis court and pool, which was well kept. It was October, but we went in! Playground, great internet, two doors to enter, secure and so immaculately clean. Cannot wait to return!

Not that bad
The space was kind of small, there was a bit of hallway/upstairs noise. The second sleeping area was really one big room 2 beds/living room/kitchen all with a partial wall, so there was not much privacy. Staff was nice, rooms were clean, but there was an exposed nail in one of the doorways (overall shoddy craftsmanship of the unit) The pool was nice, and the restaurant next door was great. Not a horrible experience, but I felt it wasn't worth the price.

It would be nice to have some basic necessities available in the kitchen like sugar and salt. The kitchen floor was sticky, and the 1/2 bathroom door had a nail sticking out of the frame. The building is poorly constructed. The guests above us had a large dog and some small kids, so we could hear them running back and forth very loudly. The staff was very friendly. Location is pretty good with the beach close by. Very quiet location too. Our unit was 30G.

It is a nice place in general, clean and great if you just want to rest. The kitchen is fully and nicely equipped if you need/want to cook or even bake. If you are not a sunlight’s fun at 6 am, make sure to request a room with a real full window blackout curtain. Closet with no hangers. Restroom with no hooks. They inform you that the pool is not headed, but it needs a thorough cleaning. I don’t give a higher score because I inform the front desk about a broken chair and they did nothing about it. From OB port is a 5mins drive/$4 taxi pp, and from WH 25 mins drive/$8 taxi pp. You can take the bus 13 right in front. The closest restaurant delivers food (lunch-dinner). You need a car if you want to go comfortably to different sides of the island, plan ahead if you are taking yours because you need rsvs for the ferry. MV is serene and enjoyable, its people is friendly and you will find plenty of things to keep you busy. Good luck!

Bad night sleep
We rented a studio for 2 nights, good location next to bike trail and walking distance to beach and swimming pool and complementary coffee/tea were plus. However we had problems sleeping at night because rooms were very bright from lights on patio that you cant turn off.There are rolled up blinds but there are gaps on all sides of window.I would highly recommend to an owner of unit #3 to put blackout curtains,i saw many units had them.Also, there were only one flat pillow per person and not leveled mattress, you feel like your head is lower than your feet.If you are very good sleeper it may not bother you, but was a big deal for us. Besides bad night sleep we had a great time in MV and Oak Bluffs.
