A very basic lodging. The only thing we liked was the clean linen, clean bathroom but cracked sink. Reception staff extremely indifferent and unhelpful. Building very dilapidated - bathroom window loose, front door badly fitted on doorstep, room for vermin, insects. Basic requirements missing - eg. for 2 people, there was 1 knife and 1 spoon, 3 coffee mugs -1 broken, no glasses, a scattering of old tea, coffee,sugar, envelopes in a dirty draw. Our conclusion is that these people have NO IDEA how to run a hotel/motel.

Batteries have been removed from air conditioner control. Spoke to others staying there and all the controls had no batteries. Weren’t happy when I asked for them to be replaced. Had personal rubbish in alcove on second story. Definitely not welcoming sight to see. Would not stay again.

There was a problem between LastMinute and the Motel with the booking. I booked a Family Room with double and three singles, Lamplighter had me booked as a double only. Don't know who caused that problem. The staff member did resolve the problem by giving us two rooms at no extra charge for which I'm grateful. Unfortunately the motel is past it's useby date, rough and run down. Sheets were clean, room wasn't cleaned properly. Owners need to invest and manage properly or sell!

On arrival, the staff had no idea how to access or manage online bookings so didn't accept that I had paid or had a booking. Despite showing all evidence, emails and receipts, it took 20 minutes before they found the online reservation.I received no apology. The motel appears to be a halfway house for semi permanent residents who had junk everywhere and who were very loud and abusive at times. The room itself was old, needs serious renovation and repairs. The photos ARE NOT A TRUE REFLECTION OF THE ROOMS. Around the motel itself is junk, old furniture, rubbish and what appears to be some sort of 'business ' operating out of a bottom floor room. All very dodgy. We put the blanket provided in the rubbish pile as it was very old, ripped and stained. Great location but we won't be using this place again. It would appear that our international friends who are buying these types of business need to be better educated in both cleanliness and appropriate Hospitality practices as per Australian standards. And no...I didn't read the reviews on this property before I booked it, but boy did they make for great reading when I eventually did...was better than watching tv or listening to the dodgy neighbours downstairs fighting below our room (as promised in the previous reviews). If you are the owners of this motel and are reading this, for God's sake, make the changes suggested. Very poorly run operation.

Obviously people living there permanent with rubbish in the stairs and balcony. Drunkard noise, swearing and banging on our door until around 4.00am. Scary environment

the security chain on the door had been replaced with a piece of wire that appeared to be meant to put over the doorhandle the exterior door had signs of being forced the bathroom door had signs of being forced there was clear evidence of damage on almost every surface the flywire screen in the bathroom was more hole than screen the fridge was broken and rattled all night long the carpet was stained the exterior of the hotel was graffittied and vandalised I did not take the risk of parking in the motel car park and parked on the major road instead the was a syringe with blood in it outside the room

I would never stay here again. There were permanent live ins that were noisy and partied all night. One of them was obviously breeding puppies downstairs as there were puppies and dogs everywhere barking all night. The lady in the room next to us didn't look well.. she she appeared to be under the influence of drugs.

This was one of the worst properties I have ever stayed in. On arrival I was told no booking then after checking they realised I had booking. Afterwards room was stinky and smelly. There we blood stains in bathroom. Blood and bodily fluids on mattress and blanket. Smoke burnt marks on blanket. To top it up I was told not to complain and find another hotel if I don’t like it, because “owner doesn’t care and they have plenty of people waiting for the room even in worst condition”.

This motel was in an excellent location but is very, very run-down which explained the cheap price. Our room downstairs was ok, air-conditioner, tv, etc all worked but units very worn and with broken edges like the vanity unit in the bathroom. Walls very thin and was disturbed by next door talking all night. Another tenant with room upstairs said she could not sleep in her room it was so unclean. Basically it was a very cheap motel but we liked the price and location.

This is one of the worst motels I’ve ever stayed in. Filthy, stunk and they stuffed up our reservation. Next time I think I’ll stay in a bus shelter if I’m struggling to find something. I cannot recommend anything less than I recommend this shi$hole.

This property needs to be removed from Expedia as the photos do not represent the accommodation and the facility is unsafe. On-site residents/half way house with crack heads having domestics and dogs barking all night long. We requested a full refund within a hour of arriving however due to arriving at around midnight, had no choice but to spend the night. Tv was broken. Light fixtures hanging off the wall. The room hadn’t been cleaned since the last occupants. They’d tucked in the dirty bed sheets and put us in there. Sheets were soiled and pillows covered in hairs. Toilet seat and bowl was covered in excrement, flush was broken and it wouldn’t stop running. Shower temp couldn’t be adjusted and was scoldingly hot or freezing cold. Management didn’t even ask questions when I dropped off my key in the morning and said I wouldn’t be back. Just gross

We just had 1 night here because it was close to home and needed somewhere to stay day before our open for inspection. We were kept awake for most of the night by a manic couple swearing banging and doing donuts in the car park. We were very tempted to just come home. I suppose the old saying goes - you get what you pay for. One a positive note, the bed was comfortable and the shower great (best thing about the place) reception was average but efficient. Unless your really desperate don’t stay here

I got to the venue & it was that disgusting that nobody should ever be submitted to such filth! I ended up having to find alternate accommodation because the place was so horrible! I expect a refund from WotIf, as you have a responsibility for the businesses you endorse!!!

Unsafe area. Drug induced man in the carpark overnight screaming at no one. Looked like a stolen vehicle had been stripped & dumped in their carpark. Bathroom was dirty on arrival, ash from cigarettes was left in the basin (of a non smoking room), and an open soap was still in the shower. Previous tenants food was still in the fridge. Staff were friendly but looked like they didn't want to work there, can you blame them?

I would never stay here again!! It was extremally poor standards with rubbish and household items out the front of rooms. I stayed for an hour before I decided to leave and find accommodation elsewhere. The loud music and people yelling out the front of my room was enough for me to feel unsafe
