The hotel was clean, check in/ out was easy. Very convenient to beach. I loved that houskeeping came in and gave fresh towels without us asking.

Heat, TV, phone and locks on doors didn’t work. Maintenance people we very nice but took two visits to get Tv on…. I didn’t bother with the other issues. Rush was present on bottom of stove, mirror, other metal in room. Nighttime staff was horrible and didn’t even respond to a hello, daytime but better and responsive. Pool open late, great area, clean beds but overall issues present.

We had a minor issue at check in but it was quickly resolved. This was the first weekend of their season and everything was clean and working well for our visit. The overflow parking isn’t several blocks away like some other boardwalk properties. It could definitely be a bit loud in the summer. Overall I’d give 9/10.

The rooms were fine and the staff was okay. One problem was the temperature control in the room. Ours seemed to be stuck on 76 degress eventhough we had it off. The guy came up & told us it is what it is and gave us a fan. Luckily it cooled down that night. The 2nd issue was the constant smell of marijuana !! I travel many miles to sit our on my balcony to look at the beautiful view only to smell that about every 1/2 hour, even waking up in the middle of the night to it !! It was horrible !! I believe it was coming from the room right above us, but it ruined my vacation :(

Room was very clean and well stocked. Maids came every day to give clean towels. A little bit of a hike to the end of the boardwalk but the weather was nice so very doable.

When we arrived to check in we ended up having to wait about an hour, after about a 6-7 hour drive in from out of town with our 9 month old, for the front desk person to arrive just past 1:30am. The check in process from there was a bit frustrating and not the best experience, but once we were checked in we had a great time. Our room was clean and overlooked the ocean. We enjoyed the restaurants on site and we were able to walk the boardwalk to the music festival we were there for. When I spoke with the manager reagarding our intitial experience upon arrival she kindly extended a $50 credit toward the overall cost of our stay which I appreciated.

Disappointed. We expected better
The hotel itself is in serious need of an update. The only update apparently was made to The Coastal Salt Restaurant and Bar. We entered our room and the initial appearance was dirty. The previous guest's toenails and lint balls were still on the carpet. The carpet was frayed and installation was unfinished. The wallpaper was peeling in several areas. Hair all over the bathroom. The ceiling in our bathroom leaked water thru the drop ceiling. There was mold/mildrew on the window valence and a gap in the window which let in rain and howling wind. The saving grace was the location to the boardwalk.

It was a usual hotel. Thinking it would be better for the location. But, it was not. You could not see out the windows. They were filthy. The room was decent. Went to take a shower and it filled with water. Tried to call the front desk and neither phone worked. Walked down to tell them and asked for another room. It did not seem to surprise them. Saw they had someone else in the room the next day. Not sure anything was fixed. For the location and the money you pay....some money should go into the hotel. Also, we booked months ahead. It showed continental breakfast. We got there and there was not. Will go elsewhere should I go back!

The girl at the registration desk was very nice and very helpful. We did have a lot of gnats or small bugs in our room but within 10 minutes an associate did spray the room for the bugs. I would recommend it and would stay there again.

Don’t be fooled by the outside appearance! The inside was updated and our room was very clean. We had a small kitchenette and oceanfront balcony. Over all, very happy with our stay. Outdoor bar, 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool and jacuzzi. Located right on the boards, Starbucks right next door, Anthony’s (we ate there for breakfast every morning 😋) one block away. Lots of dining options within walking distance. Our car stayed parked the whole trip. Will definitely book a future stay!!

When arrived air conditioning was not working. Had maintenance check it out and requested to be moved to another room. Was able to be moved as soon as there was another vacant room. The hotel could use some updates but over all the location and staff made it all worth it!

Last minute reservations A+. Starbucks is on the side of building, CVS a 1/2 a block walkable. Parking next to hotel or across the street.

Great location, 20 minute walk to the hustle and bustle on the boardwalk. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Facility itself is run down, which detracts from the overall property. However, the room size was great, as well as the kitchenette. I would stay there again, but not as my first choice.
