May return since it’s dog friendly, otherwise no.
Overall it was a good experience, and we were happy they were dog friendly. The bed was very comfortable and used the sheet system that does not have a bedspread—so very clean in that respect. There were only 2 pillows, and no hairdryer or extra pillows in the room. I was able to ask at the office for a hairdryer finally, and might have been able to get extra pillows but the office was rarely staffed. This was the last weekend the hotel was open for the season, so that could be it. We are not fussy, although the place is in need of some updating and renovations. What was most concerning to us was there was no bolt lock on the door, and the door knob was somewhat loose. Our room was on the ground floor and this did not seem very safe.

The property is quaint and comfortable, but on check in, the attendant was not there and another customer and I had to wait about 15-20 minutes for him to return. In the evening, I discovered there was no remote contol for the TV. I waited almost an hour for the attendant to come back to the office. I called several times, and the phone rings and rings and is not answered as the attendant goes missing!

Perfect to sleep at and be out and about
We went there as a family. We rented multiple rooms. We brought the dogs. It was oerfect for the kind of stay. We had low expectations so there was no disappointment. The rooms were clean enough. The location is amazing. You're near beaches, amazing restaurants... that's all that matters. The breakfast is not breakfast. Everything else is fine !

Good ptt try ice, great location
We’ve stayed here many times over last 15 years in the fall. Clean, comfortable, good maid service, good sized fridge, friendly helpful staff. Rooms on first floor of the area we were in had a tall step up to get in the room, which was difficult for my friend who has problems with her knees. An additional step in between would’ve helped a lot. Will continue to stay here, good price and great location.

Unfortunately our coffee maker still had coffee in it from the last customer, made us question if anything else was neglected. We decided to sleep on top of the bed covers

Good service, Nice little breakfast , had not much but was ok. Our Beding was clean and confortable. On the other hand It was old and a little humid, sand was on the bathroom floor and one trash can wasn’t empty.

Great time no frills
The hotel is in general repair mode, this once beautiful resort seems to be barely holding on. When you drive in grass uncut, bushes around sliding glass doors unkept and the grounds littered with cigarette butts. Rooms are very dated with renovations happening, with that said beds were new, very clean and bathroom was newly renovated all but the tub. The furniture was old outdated and dirty looking. We were in 2 bedroom on 2nd floor, TV worked well but placement of air conditioning made it almost impossible to hear. Small kitchenette with toaster, coffee maker and microwave plus two burners on Stove. Rooms are painted blue floors are old and scratched. Window in one bedroom was cracked but not broken no door but sliding glass door with cheap lock, Room was clean and well stocked with plenty of towels and shampoo soap ECT. Staff very friendly, young tall guy at desk was very accommodating and pets are welcome big AAAA+ on that. Overall great hotel stay and 2 minute drive to beach’s and plenty of restaurants and fun shopping. Huge ReStore up Street and great dinning in Wells and Ogunquit.

This place was a dump no way it should be rated as a 3 star... It was so bad we didn't stay!! Left and booked another hotel down the street.... It was dirty, moldy, ripped rugs.. Etc.

I thought for $240.00 a night, this was quite steep. The room was just ok. The mini blinds were off the window and sitting on a table. No area to hang your clothes. Bed was comfy. Only 2 pillows, 1 was thick & fluffy, the other flat & uncomfortable. I am glad we only stayed 1 night. Continental breakfast consisted of regular brewed coffee, no decaf. Bread, plain bagels, store bought sweet breakfast cakes still in the package & not individually wrapped, with a 3 lb bucket of cream cheese & margarine. Banana & apples. Gallon of O.J. & gallon of milk. I noticed there were a lot of empty rooms.

Don't stay here
Hotel is less then majestic. Hotel room door didn't have a security lock on it. Room has a smell to it and floor was dirty. Would not recommend.

could have been a little cleaner (needed a little dusting) a couple floorboards were loose other then that it was good. the breakfast was not great no napkins at all no paper Towles so you could wash your hands after eating sticky donuts.

Breakfast was horrible. No coffee/fruits/milk and nobody there to refilled. Hallway was dirty. Sink was clogged.

We were disappointed in that there was no cups for water even though there was an ice bucket and only 1 bath towel. Felt like they were scrimping. We have stayed here several times over the year but this time we felt a change. It may be the room was a different age from the other rooms in a different part of the facility. Seemed cheap. Very low sink in the bathroom. No blind on the bathroom window. The towel rack was installed crooked. I don’t think we will be staying here anymore.

Overall, the place needs some TLC. We counted 4 spiders in the room which creeped us out. Temperature control on the window type A/C would only go up, not down. Static lines when watching the TV. Flooring in the shower felt like it was unstable and I would fall in a sink hole, never to be seen again!

Le déjeuner inclus est presque inexistant et dégoûtant. On doit utiliser le même couteau pour tout le monde sur place. Pas de choix de déjeuners ou presque et manque de tout et l'endroit est très sale. La chambre très vieillissante. Lit ok. Odeur très mauvaise. Je n'y retournerai pas.

Très convenable à prix d’ami
Etablissement parfait pour la famille. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut: piscine, bbq disponibles et aires de feu, lits confortables, pression dans la douche, et tout est propre sans flafla. Service aux chambre efficace. Seule déception, le petit déjeuner inclus. Lors de séjours précédents il y avait des beignes et pâtisseries locales. Maintenant ce sont des trucs commerciaux sans personnalité et les fruits pourraient être être plus frais. Mais à ce prix imbattable en pleine saison, nous y retournerons de toutes façons!

Pros-hot shower, comfortable bed Cons-pool was NOT heated, dirty/gross bathroom vent, tub didn’t drain well, mold in the room, decor needs to be updated, pool area had overgrown bushes and weeds, breakfast was basically coffee and store bought muffins The place needs some TLC! With some time, effort and a little money this place has potential!

Good location, pool was adequate, nice propane grills and picnic area. Rooms were not cleaned to our standards. Dirt and dust, walls dirty.

I didn’t like the room. It had an odd smell. The floor was sinking in spots and there weren’t any places to plug in extra stuff.

There is no "royal" or "majestic" quality about this place, but it's convenient, family oriented, and pet-friendly. It's right on the commercial main drag in Wells, easy to find, and affordable. The pictures made it seem a bit more like a place you'd want to spend time, which for me it was not, but it did have the basics I needed at a price that could not be beat during a busy tourist season in a busy tourist town.

Recent stay.
Bathroom light never worked even though we reported it to the main desk. Room was average cleaned; however it was undated with its interior and bedding choices.

La chambre n’était pas vraiment propre avec beaucoup de poussière un peu partout, surtout en dessous des meubles ! le bain était brisé! Il n’y avait pas de support pour mettre nos vêtements aucun cintres!!! Senteur de moisissures dans la chambre nous avons demandé de faire nettoyer la chambre!!! Avec une machine ( ozone)

La chambre n’était pas propre , il y avait beaucoup de poussière il n’y avait aucun support pour accrocher le linge la baignoire était brisé et il y avait une senteur de moisissures et certaines tâches par-ci par-là! nous avons été obligé de faire nettoyer la chambre avec une machine ozone! C’est très pauvres comme chambre! Je ne recommande pas cet endroit!

We had to switch rooms 3…yes, THREE times. First room the AC didn’t work at it was 30° outside, plus the cord was missing off the phone. Second room someone left the window open and there was water all over the floor, smelled bad of smoking and wet dog. Third room must have been the charm because the AC worked, the cord was on the phone, no puddles on the floor and it didn’t smell bad. There are 4 adults in the room and only 2 towels!! You’d think they’d f they knew 4 were checking into the room, they’d make sure there was enough supplies.
