Good Morning Margaret, We are sorry to hear about your poor experience. We were there to assist with your TV input setting concern within minutes of your attempt to reach us. The staff you reference were our housekeepers who live on site who assisted you during their time off. Like many other seasonal businesses, off seasons present some difficulty in retaining staff as students return to continue their education and other prepare for winter jobs. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay! Mattresses and comfortability are always tricky. Some people like soft, some people like firm. We always aim to purchase product to appeal to both as a happy medium that offer a bit of both. Thank you for your feedback Linda! We checked room 29 following your response as it is one of our most popular Carriage House rooms. All windows and blinds were fine however. As for the closet, to optimize the size of that large guest room it does not offer one. However, that's why there is a large 8 drawer dresser as well as two additional storage units for clothing. If you wish to lodge with us in the future, let us know about some of your preferences and we'll find you the perfect room for you!

Norma, Upon arrival you had come to the desk and immediately stated you were not going to stay here because we are not on the ocean. We are across the street but do not advertise any ocean front nor any ocean views although several of our guest rooms provide them. It was unfortunate you chose to leave without giving the property a try. Best of luck with your future lodging accommodations!

Good Evening Jean, You addressed the bed softness upon arrival and requested several extra blankets and sheets for a room that had a brand new mattress. You also advised our office that you were discontent with most hotel beds. We did our best to accommodate you and are sorry to hear you still were not comfortable!

Good Morning Linda, It is true that we have you sign our non smoking policy upon arrival which states you cannot smoke in our rooms or within 25ft of any building. However, there are designated smoking area's located throughout the grounds. Upon cleaning your room yesterday following check out, we discovered and documented ashes you left on the window cill inside of your room. The entire room smelt like smoke following your visit with us. Given the fact we believe you in fact smoked inside of our guest room, we have blacklisted your account.

Good Morning Justine!We appreciate the feedback. We do understand during peak season, the area as a whole including our property can be very tight regarding parking. As for the housekeeping service, as we mention to all guests upon arrival is available daily from 9am - 3pm. Wether it be full service housekeeping or a simple towel replacement, we offer those services to all of our guests. Our pool is heated to 78 degrees and is heated that way from Memorial Day Weekend through mid September. We hope to see you again in the future!

Good Afternoon Michael, We appreciate the feedback. The hotel has been under new ownership since November of 2022. We see the great qualities this property offers and also recognize the areas in need of improvement. Swimming pool is already booked for a makeover this September when it closes! As for our rates, our rates went up a very modest 10 per day in most cases from 2022's rates. We do offer a complimentary coffee assortment all day every day. The property ended breakfast back in 2019 and is no longer licensed as a bed a breakfast.

Mark, As you can see from the majority of our customer reviews, our cleanliness standards are extremely high. We do not appreciate guests trying to pressure our front desk staff into giving them discounts simply because it was raining and you weren't satisfied. You explained you would have happily stayed if you were given a discount with 0 mention of something not being clean. Since that request was denied, we now find this review.
