Pet-friendly...very friendly staff...wonderful stay...great breakfast.....and room was clean and beds good...and lovely surroundings and view... .loved the horses and of course CODY will recommend...so different staying on a ranch than a regular hotel... Thank you

Very cozy place, although could use some extra cleaning. Much animal hair and dust around and some flies in the room and washroom. Our door did not fully close/made a lot of noise. The breakfast was delicious and well prepared. The property is very peaceful and beautiful views of valleys and horses. We were not told whether the jacuzzi was available. Overall enjoyed our stay just would have appreciated a bit more attention to cleanliness. Very gracious hosts and lovely people all around the property.

Beautiful ground with animals specially horses. I love the owners, they are very friendly and of course the breakfast was very special if you like German food

Even though this is a working ranch, there was no "farm smell" (if that is a concern for city folk like us)

My partner and I stayed at Wildhorse Mountain Ranch for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Homemade breakfast, trail rides, and the serene beauty of the mountains made this a 10/10 stay for us! The ranch is a log cabin situated on a hill surrounded by vineyards, mountainside and wildlife. There are dogs, cats, chickens, and a wandering old horse named Julia who greets you as you drive up the road (she is an old horse who roams freely around the ranch, visiting the other horses. We joked that she is the ranch gossip). A large hot tub sits on the deck and is an amazing place to look at the stars or to enjoy the sunset. The ranch is run by a lovely German couple who made us homemade breakfast every morning. There was no lunch/dinner service due to COVID-19, but they gave us some great dinner recommendations that were 15 minutes drive in Summerland. Smoking is allowed in the main area of the cabin, but as non-smokers we did not notice any trace of it. The bed was firm but comfy, and we shared a clean and rustic bathroom with one other room. We are beginners on horses and did 2 trail rides. They were fantastic! The horses are extremely calm, well-trained, and obedient; both of our rides took us up on the ridge overlooking the lake. It was relaxing and peaceful, and fun to watch the farm dogs race around the fields (the horses were unbothered by them). We’ve never seen such happy dogs! Overall it was a fantastic stay. One thing to note: it’s cash only. Enjoy!

Magical place!
We had an amazing experience at Wildhorse Mountain Guest Ranch. The ranch itself was lovely as our room had a view of the mountains and the horses. We went trail riding, (first-timer for me) and the experience was incredible! The horses were well-trained and the view was stunning. Our guide, Ava, was great as she was very knowledgeable. In addition, the pets at the ranch were adorable and the hosts were lovely with their hospitality. Bonus: Naramata wineries are just a short car-ride away. We hope to visit again soon!

Amazing property, amazing hospitality, amazing riding opportunities! It's so quiet and feels just like a lodge. The rooms and washrooms are clean, and the breakfast in the morning is great. The horses are beautiful and responsive, and the trail rides can cater to any experience of rider. We can't wait to stay there again!

What a nice and beautiful ranch! We love our stay especially my doggie who found so many friends to play with. Cleaness maybe can improved A little bit more because we found some dog hairs in our room. Other than that nothing else. Owner is very nice... we definitely will come back!

This home is situated in a beautiful rural location. It is peaceful, quiet, and the scenery makes you feel instantly relaxed. The sounds of the horses roaming around the property was very soothing to me. The rooms and beds are comfortable and the hosts are absolutely amazing! I can’t wait to come back!

Such a Wonderful Stay
I and my husband had really good time at Wildhorse Mountain Guest Ranch. Hosts are really welcoming, breakfasts always delirious and healthy. I wouldn't hesitate to come back. We enjoyed nature connection during our stay: fed chickens, watched beautiful sunrises & sunsets over mountain ranges. Thanks once again to Johan & Brigita. Oksana & Alex.

Great view from the balcony, it really good for the city people to escape from the noisy and polluted environment. The breakfast is good. However, I won't reserve it if I know I have to share the bathroom with others,it not worth for the $120 a night. The room is really small and no A/C. It is really HOT for the summer night of 30+degree.

Hello, Sorry, that you are not happy. You booked the room with shared bath. I got this info from Expedia. Perhaps they gave you a wrong info!, It is mostly hot in July August in the Okanagan. We have a vent in every room but no AC. I looked up the room you had and there was a vent and was working. So I don’t know what went wrong.. Whatever real sorry, that you could no enjoy you stay the way you wanted. Jochen

You feel welcome when you first get there. The scenery is fantastic. You feel at home right away. The horses are nice and easy to ride. It was a great stay there.

We went as an emergency to a memorial and this was the only available lodging in the area... How lucky for us because this is a remarkable b&b. Wonderful hosts in the most beautiful country, totally surrounded by vineyards and wineries. Truely a once in lifetime trip.

We loved staying at Wildhorse Mountain Guest Ranch! The setting was idyllic, and so peaceful, it was the perfect place to unwind. The owners were so gracious, it felt like staying with family without the guilt trips, lol. Breakfast was delicious and very plentiful, even the homemade jam was fabulous. We had dinner there also and it was excellent. Our room was comfortable and clean and nice and cool. Our dog loved it too and was made to feel very welcome. We were close enough to wineries that we wanted to visit and also the beaches but far enough away to be able to have a hot tub at the end of the day and feel really relaxed. The people that we met that were staying there were all very friendly and nice to chat with which added to the wonderful experience we had. We're going back next summer and would highly recommend the Wildhorse Mountain Guest Ranch!

Great introduction to horses!
This was a perfect introduction to horses for our young 6-yr old daughter. She had a great time. A very different holiday from a typical hotel but she loved it even more that the traditional hotels. We will be back.

A Great Destination

Where the stuff?
Room needed dusting and there was no soap, no clock, no radio, no tv and nowhere to sit . Place was beautiful and well worth having no soap ...... Etc.

In the peace and quiet
We wanted to leave the highway and be in the countryside and this was that. Amazing walking trail beside their Ranch, up to great view of the lake. Clean air, hummingbirds, horses, bird calls, they have it all. Delicious full breakfast. Hot tub overlooking a view and with a clear view of the beautiful night sky.
