Relaxing Family Holiday (with teen)
We had a wonderful 3 nights at Kafuu Condo. Truly beautiful views from our balcony. We booked an apartment room with half board (breakfast and dinner included). There are 2 options Western food at Italian restaurant or Japanese food (Yakiniku BBQ or Shabu-Shabu) for Dinner. Buffet Breakfast at Italian restaurant or Japanese food at BBQ restaurant, also wonderful and delicious! We tried both and we loved both, especially Okinawan food during breakfast. The staff are friendly, very good, accommodating and very helpful. Big thanks to Laurent the French waiter at Italian restaurant. As a gold member they gave us a welcome drinks 2 types of liqueur and a plate of ham, cheese, dried fruits and nuts on arrival in our room. Thank you Kafuu, we had a wonderful holiday!

What a strange experience. While the best room/apartment we stayed in itself...Everything else was off. The 4000yen amenity was not received. Instead, they gave is a tiny nugget of cheese and nuts, soda water and some shots of coconut water... Which we didn't ask for. The outside pool was CLOSED and unusable the entire time The bath water/shower had a strong stench of CHLORINE and made us smell like swimming pool for days. Most staff did not speak English. The gym is outdated with a broken treadmill The cafe was takeaway only, and super salty Not that many great restaurants around Disappointed.

I liked this hotel but the cost performance was not so great. We stayed two nights. From what I could tell it was pretty booked when we went at the end of August. This was my first stay at this hotel. On the day, we got there early just before check in. The room they gave us (in the annex) was on the bottom floor, which was disappointing. In addition to that they must have 'upgraded' us to the corner suite which they never relayed at check-in. I had to call the front to ensure that we were not getting charged for a more expensive room. After getting into the room, the Internet was not working. I had to call the front and they sent a nice man up somewhat quickly who must have rebooted the router after unscrewing panels in the ceiling and then it worked fine. But still, we had to spend 30 minutes getting that sorted. He had to reset the TV etc. Then afterwards a guy tried to deliver a baby-chair but we didn't ask for it, so they must have gotten mixed up. There wasn't always someone waiting outside the front. The first time we came, we pulled up in the car, we were not sure if it was the right entrance. My wife had to get out and go into the building to ask. The buffet was OK to have two choices of restaurant. The parking was bad as it was usually full when we came back and I had to park across the street. They had fireworks one day which was great. Overall, for the amount of money we paid, it was kind of a letdown.

Parking space is not enough. You have to pay the rental fee for the kitchenette and dish set. Staff barely speak English, except the few foriegn staffs. Swimming pool is pretty small, and it's not close to the beach. You need to walk from the top of the hotel stairs and cross the street to the closer beach. Not as close as the hotel mentioned. More staff training, room for improvement.

Airport shuttle bus has a stop at this hotel which you don't have to worry about transportation even you are not driving. The room is large and clean. Staff are all very nice and helpful.

Rooms were spacious and had a nice sea view. Provided a lot of different toiletries and the welcome cheese platter was a nice touch! Only down side was the breakfast - it was a fixed set menu daily - 8 options to choose from. Would have preferred a buffet spread.

The staff command of English is lacking. As for the room, the sofa were not comfortable. The double vanity TOP were not well thought through. With limited space and double basin, hardly much from to place your toiletries. The iron is so small that can hardly iron a shirt properly after laundry. But they are generous to offer the various amenities whenever I requested such as extra bottled water, towels, etc... It is still a good hotel. No English instruction on TV remote including air con remote control. Tho the staff do lack command of English, they do their best to help! However, there are lots of nice restaurants walking distract from hotel. This makes finding dinner convenient. However, don’t expect much during lunch as most Resturant serves only dinner.
