We had some issues with our card and the bank with booking this property. The front desk staff seemed patient and understanding while we got the runaround from our bank for over an hour. Eventually we ended up paying for our hotel in cash, including $40 of the $50 deposit. Just to have a card on file, we used our credit card for the remaining $10 deposit.
Later, we found our room was disgusting. The sheets on the pull out bed were gross and dirty and we found a roach crawling in our room on the wall. We ignored this considering the front desk person was so patient with us from the beginning. We just requested new sheets and killed the bug. On Friday night, our AC went out in the middle of the night. They didn't have anyone to fix it, so they moved us rooms, one floor up. A bit inconvenient because we had all of our stuff but they did allow us just to leave everything in the old room for the night as long as we moved everything by 11 am the next morning, which we did. So once again, I said to myself, due to their customer service and understanding, we wont leave a poor review of our poor experience thus far.
The last straw was getting our $50 deposit back. As previously stated, we paid $10 on our card and the rest of the deposit in cash. However, upon checkout they only gave us $10 back. They stated they didn't have record of the other $40. So it seems the man that night stole our money and no one will return our calls to refund our remaining money.
