So gorgeous and nice hotel~👍 Amenities were good and the bed was big & comfortable. Also, breakfast was perfect. Especially, the most impressive thing was the classical and elegant atmosphere. The staff were so nice and well-educated. I’d love to visit this hotel if I go to Oslo again.😍

Two hotels that I stayed, Thon and Bristol are great in different ways. Both are comfortable and travelers friendly. The location is walkable, yet quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

Great property! Excellent location, short walk from the central station, shopping district, palace and other monuments. Rooms are well presented and good size but I feel the bathrooms were small, toileteries are L’Occitane but not refilled regularly I presume, we had run out of shower gel, requested the house keeping but wasn’t done and they said they had run out of stock, twice complained at reception and finally it was refilled. Moisturiser also ran out but we had some of our own to use. The restaurant closes at 9pm and extremely limited choices so we had to dine out, the Bristol bar adjacent to hotel closes at 10pm sharp, not really ideal if you want to grab a drink post dinner & unwind. We had a rushed drink upon our arrival at the Bristol bar as the hotel bar was closed at 9pm. Upon our late arrival for check in into hotel we were advised room service was not available post 9pm so had to go hunting for food, luckily there is a deli close by so picked up some sandwiches. Staff at reception are helpfull mostly. Check in wasn’t the best experience with a wrong room number written on card so I had to come back down to find out the number written was incorrect. The restaurant is quite busy at lunch. A staff member at reception helped us book a ride back to the airport & very courteous. All in all a great property! Breakfast was fabulous, huge selection, loved it

Beautiful hotel with old world charm. Nicely furnished. Great location. Not a fan of a soft foam mattress but bed was still comfy. Great breakfast buffet. Nice lighting in bathroom.

STAY HERE!
The comfort and care you could only dream of in a hotel! The concierge? Incredible. The breakfast… there will never be a better breakfast to experienced. Immaculate. I will forever and always remember I’m the fondest way possible the Hotel Bristol. I only wish i purchased one of their beautiful monogrammed cups to keep a piece of HB in my home!

Lovely Old-world Hotel, but avoid the 7th floor
The Hotel Bristol is a beautiful old hotel, we placed in the center of Oslo. The rooms are lovely, the breakfast is fantastic, great old-world charm. Very busy every afternoon with people having formal tea. Service is terrific in every area. My only complaint is that the 7th floor is unreachable by elevator. Our room was very nice, but we had to take the elevator to the 6th floor and then walk up stairs (with heavy bags) to get to our room. The hotel should provide porter service to anyone staying in these rooms and warn guests I only have one

Ærverdig, men litt for «busy»
Vi valgte Bristol til førjulskos (som flere ganger før), pga det gamle ærverdige, maximalistiske interiøret, og ikke minst beliggenhet. Allerede v innsjekk, ser vi at det er den travleste tid på året, Vi får beskjed om at frokostsalen er veldig travel e kl 10…frokosten er noe av d vi gledet oss mest til.. Fint rom, deilig sengetøy, men får beskjed om at vi kan sitte i kun 45 min til frokost:-((, og vi må lete etter ledig bord…Føler desverre at vi betalte litt vel mye for litt mindre comfort denne gangen..

Alltid hyggelig på Bristol, selv i førjuls stresset.Fint pyntet og trivelig personale. Det hadde imidlertid vært fint om vannet i dusjen ble varmt. Synes også at varmmaten til frokost var veldig lite varm. Ellers er vi fornøyd med oppholdet og kommer sikkert tilbake.

Hotellet er fantastisk bra! Vi var på show, koste oss med nydelig middag på kvelden og spiste deilig frokost, så rammen rundt var veldig god. Men, vi ble vekket av en falsk brannalrm som duret en stund fra kl. 05.23 på morgenen. Slikt kan selvfølgelig skje, men det førte til at det ble en natt med lite søvn. Da det ikke gikk noen informasjon ut vedrørende at dette faktisk var en falsk alarm, måtte vi selv finne ut av dette.
