청결하고 주요관광지와 근접한 위치임.
Reception 직원이 매우 친절하다. 오타와 지도를 펼쳐 주변의 관광지 혹은 편의시설을 안내해주셨다. 그리고 주요 관광지와 굉장히 가깝기 때문에 대중교통을 이용할 일이 별로 없었다. 숙박시설은 내가 머물던 시기가 비수기이기 때문에 한 방을 나만 사용할 수 있어서 굉장히 이득이었다. 방은 약간 좁은데 나 혼자 사용했기 때문에 딱 좋았다. 만약 4명이 함께 사용하면 많이 좁을 것 같다. 시설은 매우 청결하다. 집처럼 편하게 이용할 수 있었다.

It was a little uncomfortable cause to the place where check in and check out is different. But it is near Rideau canal and cheap. 체크인, 아웃하는 곳이랑 자는 곳이랑 같은 건물이 아니라서 불편했습니다. 그래도 리도운하랑 거리가 가까워서 좋았고 가격대비 깔끔해요. 욕실은 2층 전체 통틀어서 2층에 하나 1층에 화장실하나 씻을 수있는 곳 하나라서 좀 불편..

Wonderfully convenient place to stay. The neighbourhood is a bit noisy, but that is not the fault of the Inn, of course.

I had a lovely stay with everything i needed. Owner was friendly and helpful, and nearly all tourist attractions within walking distance.

Location is good, but too many homeless people around here. The staffs aren’t friendly. The front desk doesn't give room key. The room can not be locked when you go out.Never had such experience! There’s a fire exit in the room. Is it legal?

Thank you very much for staying with us. Homelessness should be addressed to the city of Ottawa and not our establishment. There is nothing that we can do about it. We are located in downtown next to University of Ottawa, Shaw Convention Centre, Rideau Shopping Mall and Byward Market. I'm sorry you didn't like the hostel rules. Maybe you should shoose a hotel and not hostel. We wish you all the best.

Barefoot Hostel exceeded my expectations, staff was incredibly friendly! The checkout was smooth, great location (everything was walking distance), lots of parking available and was extremely safe! Highly recommend to fellow female travellers.

Easy to find and close to downtown... more parking would be better but understandable as the location doesnt allow, rooms are cute and clean bed was comfortable

Sabina was so welcoming and very warm to me and the other girls staying in the hostel- I can’t recommend her enough! The hostel was very clean and we felt very safe at night- the beds are also extremely comfortable (I slept like a baby!) Sabina if you’re reading this it was so lovely to meet you and next time in Ottawa I will definitely stay with you again!

It was a nice hotel, located in a wrong neighborhood. The building acrossed the street had lots of drunk people yelling loud. I was unable to sleep until 2:00 AM. The girld in my room was dirty. She put her stuff everywhere and hung her panties on the bunk bed, making the room appeared as a homeless shelter. I recommend that you ask for a clean roommate and a room facing at the back of the building.

It was excellent. Near everything, shopping, groceries, Byward Market and restaurants, buses, cabs, Parliament, museums and National Art Gallery, Canal Rideau etc... we had some snow but the weather was not too bad.

Everything was clean and pristine, the staff were kind, and instructions/hotel etiquette were clear. Check in and check out were convenient and easy. The only problem I faced was the loud rumbling and whistling from the windows, as there was a storm on the night I stayed. I would suggest they renovate their windows.

Amazing
The hostel é a big house 2 floors, beautiful and confortable, everything new and clean. I missed just a stove in the kitchen, but has microwave so i could use it, and coffee machine and fridge. They clean the house everyday and change the towels. The checkin was fast and people very friendly, but they need a credit card as guarantee, so you must have one. The location is very good, near supermarket and bus stop, i loved stay there.
