Parking privé en interne, Petit déjeuner trop faible pour le prix demandé et facturation fautive (copier-coller d’une carte de visite). Hôtel en soi très bien, mais le petit dej est vraiment en dessous de ce qui on peut attendre d’un hôtel 4 étoiles! J’attends encore une facture rectifiée.

Hotel tres accessible mais au calme,en ete avec ses terrasses au bord de Meuse cela doit etre super. Par contre,le petit-dejeuner a 15 €: Pas d'oeufs',de salade de fruits,de yaourts. Jus d' 'Orange en bouteille de grande surface. Vraiment trop cher.

A nice out of the way hotel. Made the mistake of trying to check in early. Everything was locked. Luckily someone from the restaurant was able to help us to our room. There was a lot of outdoor space but rain kept us from using it. Loved watching the ducks on the river.

Hotel tres agréable
Tres bon hotel avec acceuil tres chaleureux. Les chambres sont bien décorées et la lit est tres bonne Il y a même un ascenseur panoramique La cuisine est tres agréable aussi. Le service est parfois tres long, mais en demandant d'aller plus vite tout redevient parfait.

The Au Comet de Mercy was a pleasant surprise on the River with outside seating. The restaurant was wonderful with knowledgeable staff and a menu of delights. The room had quality bedding and towels. Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. This little spot makes travel delightful.

Clean and comfortable on the banks of the Meuse
This was our first stop from the channel port of Calais and it served our purposes very well. Reception was cool but efficient and things continued to improve from there. The hotel does not accept pets.

Bij aankomst bleek dat er verbouwd werd en het restaurant gesloten, wij kozen dit hotel om lekker te ontspannen en te genieten, Wij zijn dus niet verder gekomen dan een kort onderhoud met de nieuwe eigenaar. Hij wilde ons wel naar een ander restaurant brengen met een Michelin ster of een bieb gourmand. Dat is dus onzin, wij kiezen zelf en laten ons niet zo iets opdringen. Wij zijn vertrokken en hebben iets anders gevonden.

A very short but lovely stay!
We booked Au Comte De Mercy for one evening at the end of August this year. Upon arrival, we loved the building exterior and it's setting on the river. The owner greeted us, speaking great english and showed us to our room which was a 'Superior Double Room' with a balcony. The room was perfectly nice and very clean. We slept well and had a lovely, albeit very short stay! We'd recommend Au Comte De Mercy to anyone looking to visit the area. We did have a bit of trouble getting to the hotel however! There was a fair on in the village which prevented access to the road! We managed to find a detour but it might be worth checking with the hotel whether the fair is on as it's a considerable detour!

Very nice hotel in good area for good price.
Excellent and welcoming staff. Nice, clean, comfortable room. Quiet area near river.Safe parking. Food is great, but plan ahead for evening meal if you have very small kids...this is typical French/Belgian cousine atmosphere so people hang out with friends/family and chat it up over food...you may have to order and then one person take kid to room or walk around while you wait for food.

Hôtel qui paye pas de mine de l'extérieur, je dirais même plus qu'il s'agit de chambres d'hotes (environ 10) mais confortable. Chambre spacieuse et grande salle de bain. Restaurant très bon 37€ le premier menu. PDJ plus que limite 15€ pour 3 mini viennoiseries et 3 morceaux de pains ça fait cher ! Le reste du buffet (gardé par le propriétaire ) est bien caché et ne donne pas envie d aller se servir. À recommencer mais sans petit déjeuner cette fois.

Das Zimmer war eigentlich nicht schlecht. Aber am 2 Abend als ich aus der Dusche kam, bemerkte ich das KEINE Handtücher vorhanden waren!! Herllicher Moment! Leider fand ich an der Rezeption auch niemand mehr. Als ich am nächsten Morgen reklamierte, bekam ich nicht mal eine Entschuldigung! Wenn ich schon die Suite buche, finde ich so einen Service schrecklich!

Die Lage des rückwärtigen Gartens mit Blick auf einen Seitenarm und die vorgelagerte, unter Naturschutz stehende Insel der Maas ist sehr hübsch. Das Essen ist, wie bereits beschrieben, sehr gut. Wir hatten das 3-Gang Menü incl. amuse gueule, Das Personal war aufmerksam und der Mitarbeiter des Restaurants hat uns sehr gut bei der Auswahl des Menüs beraten. Jetzt zum nicht so positiv zu bewertenden Teil: Ich rief extra vorher im Hotel an, um ein ruhiges Zimmer am Ende des Flures zu reservieren, was mir am Telefon auch zugesagt wurde. Als wir eincheckten, mussten wir feststellen, dass dieser Wunsch nicht festgehalten, bzw. weitergeleitet wurde. Wir bekamen am Anfang des Flures ein Zimmer und prompt trat der Fall ein, den ich ausschließen wollte - ich wurde 2 mal von angetrunkenen Gästen geweckt, die ihr Abschieds-Palaver lautstark vor unserem Zimmer abhielten, bevor sie auf ihre ruhigeren Zimmer am Ende des Flures gingen. Im Bad musste ich mehrere Haare im und am Waschbecken und um die Toilette von unseren Vorgängern jeglicher Körperpartien (,,,,,) feststellen. Die Qualität des Essens, war wie bereits erwähnt, sehr gut. Allerdings waren wir gegen 18:35 Uhr am Tisch und hatten kurz vor 23:00 Uhr das Dessert. Zwischen Vorspeise und Hauptgang lagen fast 1,5 Stunden. Außerdem konnte ich keine Möglichkeit finden, das Hotel per E-Mail zu kontaktieren.

We were there when the owners were away, and there was no restaurant facilities. The lady left in charge couldn't have been more helpful but it was difficult to actually gain access to the hotel as it is behind high locked gates and no one was answering.

Idylle am Ufer der Maas
Ich übernachtete als Einzelreisende mit 2 Hunden im Hotel. Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm, sehr ruhiges Zimmer, Zimmereinrichtung durchaus akzeptabel. Parkmöglichkeit im Innenhof. Auch das Frühstück war preisgerecht. Es zeigte sich, dass man sehr schnell an den schönen Fußweg am Ufer der Maas gelangt. Einzige Kritik: Hunde sollten auch Zugang zu der großen Terrasse, die vor dem Speisesaal liegt, haben können.

En arrivant nous n'avions pas la chambre que nous avions réservé, une toute petite chambre sans balcon alors que la réservation stipulait une grande chambre avec un balcon donnant sur l'eau etc...finalement nous avons été "surclassé" mais avons ressenti le malaise de la direction de l'hôtel comme ci nous demandions quelque chose qui ne nous était pas dû...bref la propreté de la chambre laissait à désirer, la porte de douche cassée, des traces d'humidité au plafond, une ventilation encrassée...ça ne vaut pas le prix payé. Malgré ça le personnel a été correct, l'accès est facile, le parking et le système de portail électrique aussi.

Come for the Food!!
We stayed by chance and loved it!! - very clean spacious room - easy car parking - drove into Leige 15 mins to see Christmas Markets - very pleased we were staying at ACdeM - most importantly the in house restaurant was 5 star! - simply beautiful, lots of well presented locals which is always a good sign - the owner & staff simply could not do enough for you - it's a long way from Sydney but nearly worth the drive for the food!!
