Sian welcomed us to a wonderful overnight experience with full English breakfast. Just a short walk to the Thai Orchid restaurant for a superb evening meal. 5-10 mins walk to Banbury Cross of nursery rhyme fame.

Avonlea is walkable from the town centre and just a little further to the train station. The bed was extremely comfortable and the landlady exceptionally helpful and kind.

Our Stay at the Avonlea
This is a lovely guest house and Sian is the perfect host. Her cooked breakfast is fantastic, and there are lots of other alternatives if that's not for you. Rooms are very comfortable and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Would most definitely recommend.

Comfortable
The Avonlea guest house is easy to find and ideally placed for the town being only 5 minutes walk away. The Host was welcoming, and I found the guest house to be clean and homely and comfortable. Even down to the home made flapjacks left in the room, which I thought was a nice touch. The breakfast was excellent. I would stay here again.

I wish every place was like this!
What an amazing stay! The couple who run this place are the most lovely people you could meet. They go out of their way to make sure your stay is the best it can be. Beds were comfy too and breakfast was spot on. Couldn't have asked for more. I'll be back!

Welcoming and really helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely return and recommend to friends and family. Only minutes from the town centre and motorway exit.

Would definitely recommend!
A great stay was had from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was delicious and the homemade banana cake was a very nice surprise.

Great Guesthouse
Very nice guesthouse in Banbury. Close to amenities. Hostess was very friendly. Room was clean with a nice shower. Breakfast was fantastic. We would definitely stay there again when back in Banbury. Thanks so much for your hospitality.

Very good value B&B and a warm welcome
My wife and I have just returned from two nights at Avonlea. The cleanliness of our bedroom, en-suite bathroom and dining room was extremely good. Sian, the landlady, was very welcoming and went out of her way to make sure we and her other guests enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended

Friendly, family run B&B
Sian was a superb host, making sure we had everything we needed and cooking a fresh breakfast to order for us in the morning. The rooms were clean, fresh and very comfortable. If we find ourselves needing accommodation in Banbury again, we will be booking here. Superb experience.

Highly recommended.
Excellent service from the hosts in a beautifully kept establishment. The breakfast was exceptional, with a full choice of dishes to suit all tastes. The Full English was perfection !

Such a beautiful place, everything so clean soft lovely smelling towels. The breakfast was huge such good value. For a surprise the lovely owner made flapjacks!

Avonlea Quest House review.
The hotel single room was good view over well kept large garden. I have sensitive hearing and could hear the hum of the commercial warehouse ,at the rear of the garden all night. All English breakfast in the morning was very good standard. Staff very pleasant
