The walking path into the historic part of Cefalú is fun. The views are nice, our balcony was huge. Depends on what you want for a beach- this one is not a sandy beach. It’s small- better if you want a place for playing on a kayak or other floaty thing in the sea. Cool steps around the rocky formations.

Host attentive. Good breakfast. Hot water tricky in room. First day no hot water then limited. To get to room involved lots of stairs so would not be appropriate for people who are not mobile. Shower dirty lots of mold.

The view from each of the rooms is spectacular! There is a huge balcony and also a private beach for guests staying at the property which is very nice. The walk into Cefalù town for lunch and dinner is approximately 30 minutes.

Next Time, I’ll stay at Hotel Kalura
The location was good and the room was clean. In general, I’ll say “good” for a basic room by the sea. There was no blanket. I requested one and, while it was quickly brought, there should have been a blanket sitting on a shelf. I was solo with a room for two. The shower was tiny - luckily, I’m skinny. The lights in the bathroom would have been inadequate had I a companion wanting to apply makeup. One hook for towels - inadequate. There is a charge for a beach towel. There is no restaurant on the premises. For lunch and dinner, I was directed to Hotel Kalura. Need a hat? sun block? a bathing suit? Hotel Kalura has a store. I learned that beach towels at Hotel Kalura require a deposit, which is refunded upon return. So, no charge. Essentially, I had a room near a beach. That room cost 50% more than a room at the hotel next door, which has a pool, restaurant, and a store, Want to rent a bicycle? Hotel Kalura. After you click that button, cancellations are impossible…unlike most Hotels.com properties. Many people rate Blue Bay as “extraordinary”. Yes, it’s nice. Extraordinary? I just don’t see it. Oh: taxi to Blue Bay: 15 euro; Hotel Kalura: 12 euro.

Beautiful ocean views; Room and bathroom were large, clean, and well stocked with necessary amenities; Huge decks for relaxing; Extremely private and quiet. Breakfast food was not healthy and very little selections; Staff looked bored and unhappy. There was no dining option on the property; Just offered drinks by the front office.

C’est un site magnifique. La vue est spectaculaire! La possibilité d’avoir des kayaks, pédalo, paddle boards ainsi que différents équipements pour se baigner a été très apprécié. Nous recommanderons l’endroit à notre famille et nos amis.

Majestic find in Cefalu: A family owned and run resort that rivals many of the best hotels in Italy. The views throughout the property [magnificent sunrise], immaculate rooms [go for the sauna room- 2 bathrooms with a large living room] and breakfast was perfect- the coffee was the best. I was nervous about not having a pool, but the private beach was outstanding with calm, clean, warm water. There were more than enough lounge chairs, umbrellas and toys [paddle boat, kayaks, floating chairs and paddle boards- don't forget your water shoes!] No charge for parking was a plus as we were there for 11 nights. Transportation [bus] to town is right outside the property- very convenient [1.20€]. Thank you to the family and staff of Blue Bay for making us feel welcomed, cared for and safe.

Beautiful location and views of the bay. Beach and swimming is great as water was clear and warm. Water toys: kayaks, paddleboard, floaty chairs, snorkels and masks, noodles. Bar at beach served drinks and sandwiches and salads. Room 501 had very little hot water and ran out during short shower. Sewer smell from drains. With windows open it was less noticeable. 45 min walk to Cefalu. We chose to take taxi 7-10 min.

Fabio the manager greeted us upon our arrival and was very helpful and happy. the scenery is picturesque and the porter will bring your bags to your room as the resorr is hilly and lits of steps as it is built into a cliff. The beach is nice with typical small rocky shore...but the water is crystal clear blue. The Sicilian morning sunset is to die for and veat viewed from your room or patio attached ro your room. Will come again.Thank you Blue Bay.

Tolle Aussicht, großzügige Zimmer, sauber, leise. Sehr leckeres Frühstück. Befremdlich war, dass 5€ je Strandtuch verlangt wurde, nachdem Liegen und Schirme kostenlos waren. Hat ein 4 Sternhote das nötig? Das Meerwasser war klar, von Vorteil sind Badeschuhe! Schade, dass in der heutigen Zeit die Getränke im Frühstücksraum in Plastikbechern serviert werden.

Lots of stairs!! Breakfast was good, Room was basic and clean. Not near the town. They charge guests 5 euro to rent a beach towel! A wooden jetty into the sea would be helpful to enter across the rocks

Mkt charmig resort. Vi älskade det. Bodde i en lght längdt ner mot havet och kunde höra vågorna i sängen. Magi Allt fräscht och fint med rummen och utsikten magisk. Mkt kul med all vattenlek och snorkling på området. Väldigt mkt trappor överallt bara. Ok för oss men kan va tuffare för äldre eller små barn. Gick att köpa vatten och drick på boendet och dom hade enkel lunch öppet vid lunchtid annars ingen matservering.

The staff was very accommodating. If you’re looking for quiet, simple accommodations with picturesque views of the sea you will love this property. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Cefalù. You can enjoy their private beach and all of the complimentary beach toys they provide.. paddle boards, floating sun beds, peddle boats, etc.. I really enjoyed my stay! Grazie!

Great hotel with private beach. Walking distance to the downtown Cefalu. Good parking. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Clean. Free use of SUP, kayak, paddle boat. A very comfortable stay for the family!

Best beach hotel ever!
The hotel is located in a paradisíacas beach, a cove with emerald waters, and the rooms are basically on the beach! An amazing hotel, very comfortable rooms, excellent service and the most amazing Italian breakfast. All in all, superb!!!

This is a great property with an amazing setting on a private beach with chairs, umbrellas, and water equipments like floats, kayaks, and paddle-boards. Amazing, friendly staff and a very nice breakfast spread. The location is somewhat removed from Cefalu's historic center - a 30 minute walk is pretty do-able, some of which is on a road without sidewalks. Staff will call for a taxi which will arrive promptly: the taxi ride is 5 to 10 minutes and is what I believe is a fixed fee of 12 Euros. This was a very relaxing stay in a spectacular town - I would definitely stay again.

Awesome place to stay.
Beautiful resort and awesome staff! Awesome private beach with many free fun water activities. Walk to historic district is possible but you may want to get a taxi. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

The location and property are Heaven on Earth! You will NOT regret staying here! Absolutely gorgeous beyond belief!!! The many views throughout the property will take your breath away!!! The staff was wonderful and amazing! They were all very helpful and kind! From the moment we arrived they were great! Breakfast is fabulous, loads of wonderful food! The room was very clean and comfortable! Safe in the room. The terrace was 34x17, huge with the best view in the world! Our room while smaller for 2 people was adequate. Lots of storage space. The glass shower does show through the sleeping quarters but NO worries, there is a shade you can just pull down and not visible to anyone unless they are in the bathroom with you. Very comfortable bedding and pillows. Some points that others mentioned, but we did not find a problem with the stairs, there is also a ramp. I would call and speak to Fabio if you have any questions or concerns about the property, as I believe this place is absolutely worth staying! We loved the exercise! The rock beach is fabulous, just bring water shoes with a good bottom, bought on Amazon for like 10 dollars. Free use of the pedal boat, kayaks, sun loungers, paddle boards. Private beach with free umbrella and lounge chairs. The snack bar had wonderful alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks and food looked fabulous, although we just had some snacks. The main entrance has a full bar and plenty of AMAZING areas to sit and drink or use your AMAZING terrace!
