She basically snapped at us that they don’t provide public bathrooms, to which I repeated that we’re not the public, we are guests checking in with a reservation. She asked what the last name was, I told her, and my husband politely asked again if we can please use the restroom before checking in, because it really seemed like she would not let us use the restrooms first. We got our room keys and when we opened the door to the room, we were immediately hit with the odor of a previous guest or guests who clearly smoked in the room. We asked each other if we really wanted to go back downstairs to ask the rude lady to change our room, because we almost didn’t want to speak to her ever again. We did go back and asked for a different room and why. Again, she seemed annoyed that we needed something from her, but did her job and got us a different room. That room didn’t stink of cigarettes, we dropped off our bags t
